BREAKFAST Pv Lindsey Bliss

Gary stepped into the large great hall, it was early in the morning and he could smell all kinds foods. The smell of freshly boiled potato's told Gary that breakfast had just began. Everywhere across the hall were large candles so bright that he thought they were magical stars floating.

Gary rushed into the hall with no hesitation. "Food! Good Food at last!" He whispered to himself while grabbing a large turkey leg from a golden plate which had just dropped perfectly in between his cutleries. Gary was also Intrigued at the sight of transparent looking ghosts gliding all around the hall. Being raised in a muggle family, Gary had never seen anything so biazzare like this before. Flying ghost? It was surely something his mother would not one to see.
Gary continued to munch on his turkey leg. He finally did not have his mother nagging at him for leaving his pajamas on the floor early in the morning.
He stared at the thousands of golden plates falling from the sky, all filled with delicious and mouth watering food. This school must have a large kitchen, he thought to himself. I wonder who works there. It was not long before Gary started gobbling all the food he could get his hands on.

The Great hall was packed when Lindsay made her way down. It was the best place ever. Her mouth was watering as she sat down. It reminded her of home. Her home when her mom was around. It made Lindsey feel sad. She shook the though from her head and continued to walk to the hufflepuff table. She sat down and ate and ate. It was wonderful food. Pancakes, toast and bacon. Best breakfast ever! She was running her mouth to a friend when she spotted a boy further down the table. No that was table across from her. That was the Gryffindor table. She looked him in the eye and then went back to talking not realizing what she was saying for she was lost in her own thoughts. Hopefully her friend would get done and then they could go to their classes. Lindsey really, really wanted to talk to the boy and she thinks her friend knew it to.

Lindsey got done talking and decided to pick her books from the dorm earrilly. As she walked by a boy, a boy. Not just any boy the Gryffindor boy. It was the same Gryffindor boy she stared at earriler. He was so handsome.

Gary continued to munch on his turkey leg. He dipped the entire turkey leg into a large pot of brown thick sauce that was floating around the
Gryffindor first year table. The brown sauce had colorful bubbles popping out from it and green flickery stars flying above it, but Gary did not hesitate to try it. After trying the turkey, he was sure the sauce would not disappoint. There was now brown sauce all over his mouth.
Delicious! He thought, there was even bubbles popping out of his mouth now they all were in different colors. Red, Indigo and even dark green. "hopefully breakfast would last a while longer!I might even get some dessert to complement the food!" Gary exclaimed excitedly.
At that moment, Gary noticed a young girl from hufflepuff at the corner of his eyes looking at his direction. The girl had long blonde hair and had a few freckles on her cheeks. She also had eyes that were almost ice blue.
From her height, Gary could also tell that the girl was no older than twelve.
"Hi!" Gary said as he wiped the sauce on his face away with his palms. "Are you also in your first year?"

The boy said hi. He said said hi. Lindsey mind was racing like a horse on a race track.
"Hello," Lindsey said curtizing. She blushed when a few students looked over at her."My name is Lindsey, yours? I am a first year and I presume you are to?"
Lindsey was quite nervous to be around the boy and that was partly why she was blushing. She pulled her hair around her face and kept her head down. She was somewhat sad and he was a messy kind of boy. The little ruffles in his hair to the grease on her fingers made Lindesy kind of like him. Not the dating kind, but the crush kind. The only thing Lindesy really didn't want to know was that if he didn't like her. Lindsey couldn't handle any more drama. If he did tell her he didn't like her, it would be so horrible for Lindsey. Her brother had died and so did her mom. Her sister was well her sister. Her father... she never sees anymore. It would be way to much heartbreak her. She shook the horrible thoughts from her head and looked up at the boy. She never felt so terrible in her entire life. He had on a quite a concerned look on his face and looked kinda sad. Lindsey just couldn't. She wanted to... needed to go but there was too many people that created a mob. Lindsey would never make it though.

"My name is Gary Mason!" Gary said grabbing up the turkey leg again. "I am in my First year too!"
Gary noticed the Hufflepuff logo on a uniform. It seemed similar to the one of gryffindor but instead of a lion in the middle of the crest it was a black and white badger.
Wow! Gary thought. He wondered what a badger would represent as a mascot. He was sure the lion in Griffyndor represented bravery as that was what the sorting hat told him when he had placed it on his head. But a badger? He did not have an idea at all.
Gary's mind began to race with thoughts. Hogwarts life was getting exciting for him. After spending ten years in the muggle world he had never ever seen a school which divided people into houses which looked so cool.
Even the food was extraordinary! In the muggle world, it was not possible for a person who was not extremely rich to get unlimited food coming from every direction. But it seemed that in hogwarts even the poor was treated like Bilionares in the muggle world.
Gary added on to his questions. "So what does the badger represent?"

Lindsey heard Gary ask what badgers represented. Right, "Hufflepuff represents hard work, fairness, loyalty, patience, trustworthiness, and a fierce protectiveness of others. It's quite a wonderful house." Lindsey knew the boy was trying to make small talk but that didn't make the hole in Lindsey's heart get any bigger. She needed to run and thank goodness there wasn't to many students left. Only a few stragglers were there. Leaving the boy she left, grabbed her bag and went to talk to her friends but discovered they had left her. Now what, she would be alone walking the hallways. Nope, she wouldn't. She sat down at hufflepuff table pulling out a book. It was going to be a sad, wonderful breakfast. Sad, sad, sad. Wondering what to do next, she read the book. A wonderful book called The History of magic. It was quite wonderful. Thinking isn't a good thing to do. Lindsey got crazy ideas and shook all the thoughts from her head. She should be thinking about Hogwarts and not boys. Besides, she already had a crush on somebody. She was already going with the person she had crush on to the ball.
