“F-flushing books down the toilets!? Why? Books are valuable and perfect, why would you do that?”
"I flushed it down the toilet because I didn't want to give it to a boy I met in the library. That's why." She said this not aggressively, but it was firm. She didn't want to hurt this girl's feelings.

"LEAVE HER ALONE!” The girl had this sudden outburst so quickly that Penelope jumped. She gasped too, she did not expect that loud of a noise to come from such a timid and shy little girl!“Sorry, Sorry, Sorry” She muttered. then Penelope had a thought: perhaps all Ravenclaws were a little odd! Penelope knew for a fact she was odd, and this girl seemed pretty strange too. It was just how they were. “I didn’t mean to yell” she said. Penelope had to bite her tongue so she wouldn't laugh. “I need a book”  Penelope looked around. She saw something on the ground, and she picked it up and gave it to the girl.

“No, no, no! Sorry." Penelope said, "What-" then she glanced at the letter in the girl's hand. "Oh. It's alright. Don't worry. I've had this happen before. I'm sure it's not that severe if they aren't even telling you what's wrong! Is there anything I can do to help?" she asked. She glanced at Jack, all past forgotten. She side-smiled showing sympathy for Grace. She really felt bad for her, especially because Penelope had something like this happen to her only months before.

Recovering from some more or less embarassing attempts to get to know someone Opeila decided to explore the parts of the castle she hadn't seen yet. Even though no one seemed to care about her, she liked the castle. She has never seen a place as mysterious as this school and she was determined to find out about at least one of it's secrets.

As she was wandering around the castle she heard a voice. A female voice. Searching for the source she found the abandoned toilets. She remembered hearing some others say that there was a ghost living in those toilets.
Opeila got excited. She'd love to talk to a ghost in private! The holidays with her parents got her interested in history, since they had visited so many old castles and villages. Maybe the ghost was living in such an old village and could tell her more about the life back then!
But also she didn't want to disturb the ghost in... whatever she was doing in there. She clearly talked to someone. Maybe another student? That might be the chance to get to know someone, until now she has always just tried to talk to groups and they clearly didn't want a new member.
Curiously she entered the abandoned toilets. She stayed in the entrance when she saw the three pupils in the room. Did she just burst in while there was some... secret encounter was happening? "Oh. Um. I thought, I heard something." Great. Why didn't she just keep her mouth shut and left again?

Jack blinked when he was yelled at, surprised for a moment, but then trying not to laugh. The girl called Grace seemed to be quite the hypocrite. First she was asking Penelope why she was flushing books, seeming as alarmed and concerned about the books as Jack was, then she was yelling at Jack to leave Penelope alone. And then she was apologizing profusely for having yelled.

The blonde went for a book, supposedly to calm herself down, but then a letter happened to drop out of it and Jack wondered how in the world it had gotten there without the girl having read it in the first place. For some reason, she chose right there and then to read it. When Grace began to cry and Penelope tried to comfort her, the Slytherin boy shook his head. He had had enough of this little nonsensical drama. The boy turned to leave without another word to either of the Ravenclaw students.

As he headed out the door, he noticed a new girl standing in the doorway; a Slytherin like himself. She seemed to have been eavesdropping. Jack smirked and made a mental note to remember her, thinking maybe they could talk another time when he had cooled down some. In the meantime, he placed a hand on her shoulder as he passed.

"You probably did, but trust me, it’s not worth investigating," the redhead told his housemate. Then he sighed, departing from the toilets to prepare for his next class. "Ravenclaws…" he muttered under his breath as he left.

The few things she heard made as much sense to her as they made to the other Slytherin since all she heard were the last things Grace said or yelled.
When her housemate went past her he placed a hand on her shoulder and said "You probably did, but trust me, it's not worth investigating." He walked past her but she could hear him say "Ravenclaw..." quietly.
"There is no need to be rude though, is there?" It was more of an ironic question, she didn't expect an answer. Instead she just looked through the room, looking for a ghost. Bad luck. Only lots of broken mirrors and sinks. Interesting, maybe worth another look, but not what she was looking for right now. She looked at the two girls standing in the room. "Sorry to disturb you.", she said to them. "And sorry that I happen to have a rude housemate." She rolled her eyes before she closed the door again and walked away. Some Slytherins could be so unnecessarily rude, the red haired boy was a nice one compared to other things she had heard from some older housemates. She shook her head. No wonder she had problems finding friends with a house that didn't actually help her reputation.

Sorry, if that was unclear, but Opeila has left the thread here.

Grace didn’t like Jack that much, he has been quite rude to her. Grace read the letter again, she felt so sad that streaks of blue was showing in her hair and her eyes had navy blue specks. Grace shook her head "𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚏𝚒𝚗𝚎" she told Penelope, smiling. Grace wiped her tears and a brown haired Slytherin is there. "Sorry to disturb you." she told them kindly "And sorry that I happen to have a rude housemate." Grace smiled "𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚏𝚒𝚗𝚎, 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝙸 𝚑𝚊𝚍 𝚊 𝚕𝚘𝚝 𝚘𝚏 𝚛𝚞𝚍𝚎 𝚙𝚎𝚘𝚙𝚕𝚎 𝚊𝚝 𝚖𝚢 𝚖𝚞𝚐𝚐𝚕𝚎 𝚜𝚌𝚑𝚘𝚘𝚕"

Grace looked at herself in the mirror, took a deep breath and put her book in her sack. "𝙸 𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚐𝚘𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚛𝚘𝚍𝚞𝚌𝚎 𝚖𝚢𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏! 𝙸'𝚖 𝙶𝚛𝚊𝚌𝚎 𝙼𝚒𝚗𝚝, 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝'𝚜 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚗𝚊𝚖𝚎?" Grace put her hair up in a ponytail, she liked inspecting the bathroom for some reason. She looked at Penelope "𝚂𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚢 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚕𝚘𝚜𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚖𝚢 𝚝𝚎𝚖𝚙𝚎𝚛" Grace said. Grace scribbled a letter to send to home, she planned to send it later "𝙰𝚛𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚐𝚞𝚢𝚜 𝚐𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔 𝚝𝚘 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚖𝚘𝚗 𝚛𝚘𝚘𝚖𝚜? 𝙸'𝚖 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚢𝚎𝚝 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝙸 𝚖𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝" Grace remembered something and wrote it down,  it was a reminder to actually send the letter, since she doesn’t have the best memory. Grace took her hair out of a ponytail and made it a braid.

Savannah entered the washroom, not knowing it was abandoned, or knowing there were three other girls there. “Ye’ve got to be kidding me” muttered the Slytherin, as she stepped in a puddle of oddly warm water. Sav stopped dead in her tracks when she saw 3 girls there, one Slytherin with pale skin and brownish-reddish hair, one Ravenclaw with glossy black hair, and another very short Ravenclaw with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. Sav bit her lip (a habit) "𝙸 𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚐𝚘𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚛𝚘𝚍𝚞𝚌𝚎 𝚖𝚢𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏! 𝙸'𝚖 𝙶𝚛𝚊𝚌𝚎 𝙼𝚒𝚗𝚝, 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝'𝚜 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚗𝚊𝚖𝚎?" said the blonde Ravenclaw, Savannah blinked, she was here for only 3 minutes and for 2 of them she didn’t even she the girls. But Sav sighed and smiled slightly “Savannah Griffis, ye can call me Annah, and if we become closer friend ye can call me Sav” Savannah didn’t know why she said that, she surely wasn’t going to meet the Ravenclaw ever again, so why would they be friends? Savannah looked at one of the corners of the rusty bathroom and saw a letter, a book, and an owl who was perched on the stall door. Savannah, being the nosy girl she is, walked up to the letter and began to read it “Dear Ms. Mint, I am very sorry but you mother Iris Mint is in the hospital since she has an unknown injury. You cannot visit her yet but she is alive. From, St. Mungo’s Hospital” Annah immediately regretted reading the letter. “Savannah, ye idiot!” she thought, cringing, “I’m really sorry” Annah said, turning to the girl named Grace.

Grace sighed, she didn’t know how she got into this mess. Then she heard a splash and somebody muttering something she couldn’t hear, but she could detect the accent was Irish. It was a Slytherin girl, she had bushy brown hair, hazel eyes, light eyebrows, and light brown skin. The girl stopped dead in her tracks when she saw Penelope, Grace and the other Slytherin girl that Grace didn’t know the name of. The girl said her name was Savannah and they could call her Annah, after Grace introduced herself, not to her, but to the Slytherin girl that was here first. But Grace smiled and said "𝙽𝚒𝚌𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚖𝚎𝚎𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞" then, the girl who said her name was Savannah went up to the corner where Grace got the letter, and picked it up "𝚆𝚊𝚒𝚝, 𝚍𝚘𝚗'-" but Savannah already started to read it. Grace’s hair turned slightly blue, then the blue disappeared. Savannah apologized about reading the letter and Grace just took some deep breaths to stop herself from crying. "𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚏𝚒𝚗𝚎, 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚊 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚋𝚕𝚎𝚖" but you could tell by the look on the Ravenclaw’s face, it was a problem, Grace noticed that Savannah had been biting her lip a lot, she assumed it was a habit. Grace had a habit of biting her nails, so she could relate. "𝚆𝚎𝚕𝚕, 𝙸'𝚖 𝚐𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚐𝚘, 𝚒𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚐𝚞𝚢𝚜 𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚍 𝚑𝚎𝚕𝚙 𝚘𝚗 𝚊𝚗𝚢𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚑𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚔 𝚒𝚛 𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐, 𝙸'𝚕𝚕 𝚋𝚎 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚕𝚒𝚋𝚛𝚊𝚛𝚢" Grace swing her sack onto her shoulder, picked up her stuff, and walked out of the door.
