Ethan watches the field intently when he suddenly spots something suspicious. With a quick sleight of hand, Raphael slyly locks his broom handles with Louca's. He immediately calls it, “NO FOUL PLAY HERE! Raphael, on penalty lap!”

Kavi tries to help Kaya and Louca by using every ounce of his might to spin them into perfect position to catch the snitch...but with Raphael literally locking onto their handles, they end up missing the target. “THAT WAS SO CLOSE! They had it! They almost had it!”

While all hell breaks loose on the field, Akkerah is doing her best to stay focused and keep searching for that bloody snitch.

Another cheer, another round. She was starting to think it should be Briar up here instead of her. If the cheer was any indication, he seemed focused and alert—like Kaya, who was still somehow up here. And she desperately needed to become that way too if they had any chance of turning this around.

As they say in the Ivory Coast, it was time to save the fowl before it it stops flapping.

An uneventful round was a good round for someone on Save Duty and although her team had all positions covered unlike the opponent, she was rather surprised with how close it still felt. The Chasers had been busy with other fouls tasks & the pesky Snitch had yet to make an appearance for Akerrah it seemed, points falling behind where the other team was just falling. She was certain the team could transition this over, watching as yet another opponent rushed towards the ground with a slight wince. Such was the game.

You almost had to feel bad for the other team at this point. True, Raph's team had been playing rough (and hardly fair), but it was still surprising to see that there were only three brooms left on their opponents' side, and two of them were carrying two players each... nevermind, two brooms left, of which one was carrying double weight. Quentin had made short work of the last remaining beater on the other team.

Still, it didn't really feel like they were winning. Their original Keeper had taken a dive towards the ground while Kit had been busy saving Peter, and his replacement seemed a little... dazed, to put it kindly, so the other team had gotten a few free goals while Raph had been busy taking out their most threatening players. And it seemed like Akerrah still hadn't spotted the Snitch, which was worrying, since the entire stadium just seemed to be waiting for the other Seeker to catch it. Well, he could do something about that at least.

Swinging around in a wide arc, he came at the pair on their broom frontally, just as their remaining team mate tried to hurl them forward in a breakneck attempt to catch the Snitch. He "accidentally" got in the way, his broom steering theirs off-course, then raised his hands in a universally understandable gesture of innocence when the ref finally called him out on his blatant cheating. He'd probably asked for it, he thought as he veered off towards his penalty lap. But it'd been worth it, to buy them time.

Peter watched as literally nothing happened for a while. His gaze traveled towards Akerrah, even though he knew there would be no more bludgers towards the seeker. The only opposing beater left was on their teammate's broom.

Oh wait.

Never mind.

Just like that, Quentin took out the beater and the kid who saved him.

Phew. At least Peter didn't have to deal with that anymore. All he had to do was defend Akerrah if any stray bludger hit her. And then, hopefully it'll be the end of the game. Hopefully.

Louca did his best this time to avoid trouble. After all, it seemed like they were dropping like flies, when they weren't literally dropping from their brooms. And flying with two on a broom was a bit different than flying with one. But he was up to the challenge, of that he had no doubt.

Zoya finished her penalty lap as quickly as possible in hopes to be able to actually do something. Sure, she wouldn't have to do penalty laps if she had not done so many fouls but where was the fun in that. Glancing around at the rest of her team, the Russian girl looked around to see where everyone was and hoped to get a hint of what the next move was gonna be for the group. She really hoped they would win, because this was her first interschool game and she wanted it to go well.

If the quaffle hits or misses the target, a quafflegrab the next round would be necessary to determine which team has possession of the quaffle again.
