for context, i had/have a crush on a guy that i spoke to ONE TIME last year.

i was walking to lunch w my friends, talking about my best friend/soulmate, and one of my friends (m) said something like "lol why dont u marry her?" and i went "haha if i cant marry [aforementioned guy], then maybe i will!"
and for some reason that set her OFF, she started talking down to me like "oh you dont wanna be a psycho girl, my boyfriend had a girl that was so obsessed with him in highschool that i had to walk him to all of his classes because he was so scared" ok??? what are u talking about and why are u saying this to me...

so i went "um... thats a weird comparison to make considering i literally had one conversation with this guy and have never interacted with him beyond that" and she kept insisting that i was 'missing the point' and i was like???? what point are u trying to make bc it sounds like ur calling me a psycho for having a crush on a guy...

and then she was like "um if u dont get the point im making then im not gonna explain it to you!" WHAT????? and then on top of that my other friend was like "dude (m) is just joking" and im like???? about WHAT????? me being a psychopath for....... *checks notes* having a crush???????
