Deep within the library, nestled in a secluded corner sits a boy with his nose stuck in a book and his head in the clouds dreaming of adventure.
He often came here to read, he couldnt believe all the adventures other witches and wizards have had! Would he someday go on great adventures like that? Smiling to himself as he scaned the page and dreamed of being like the courageous characters in his book, he heard a tap then another one. Annoyed at being dragged out of his fantasies he looked out the ancient window beside him.
Rain tapped against the window in rhythms, water droplest racing down the pane before another took its spot. Then a flash lit up his cozy space, which was previously lit only by soft candle light, followed by a growling thunder.
The boy watched in amazment as waves of droplest fell down into the darkness lit up by the spidering electricity in the sky. The thunderous drums they danced to fallowing. He imagination took hold as he imagined a battle being waged in the clouds, magic shooting across the sky in booming electric light. Two wizards fighting a magnificent battle! Or two thunder birds fighting over the sky!

In the other side of the library, was May, reading a spellbook. She actally thought that studying books were fun. Even tho she wasn't in Ravenclaw, she was sorta of a nerd. In a good way, I mean, like a very good stuent. She wished, that she could be in Ravenclaw, or at least know kids like her. She felt alone, in this magical book world.
Her brown eyes posed into a great, big, green and golden book. She was so curious, that shewent faster tan anything to pick it up.
It was beutiful. The most beutiful and big book that she had ever seen. It had great wizard and witches story's. Not just one, but loads of beutiful and melancolic story's to enjoy.
One by one, the books were trying to come down form the shelves. May was so into the book, that she didn't see the books, slyding out of the shelves when, PLUM!! All the books fell off the shelve. May was super startled. She hoped off the hair, her hands off the book she was Reading, and felled with a even bigger sound. She could hear the librarian's ''shhhhhhhhh'' and as she glared at May. May felt that tears were coming from her eyes. It wasn't the best of the days today.

With the sound of a crash from the other side of the room he was broken out of his wild fantasies. He looked around startled and embarrassed. He had once again lost himself in a day dream! He quickly looked around but saw no one. Relief washed over him, but was soon replaced with burning curiosity.
What had that crash been? It wasnt the thunder outside, he knew that for curtain. Maybe a creature he's never seen before? Maybe someone looking for a hidden passaged? A ghost whom haunts the library causing mischief? He had to know!
He crept through the bookshelves. Eyes bright with curiosity. He made sure to avoid other students though. Moving silently from the shadows of the towering shelves. The library mostly silent save for the occasional thunder outside.
He was almost to the other side of the library. His heart raced and fear bit into him as his imagination ran wild. He gulped but he had to know. What made that noise? The adventures in the books he so loved wouldnt be scared so why was he?
He peaked out behind the case to see a pile of books. They shiffed around and out popped a girl! He blushed in embarrassment, he had let his imagination yet again run wild! Well, he couldnt hide now she had already seen him. He cleared his throat "um...hi can I help?" he held out his hand turning a brighter shade of crimson.

May had her hands on her mouth, stunned that nobody told her anything. When she looked up, she saw a boy extending his hand to her. She went, red, not knowing what to do at first. After all, she wasn't used to people helping her. She was always shy with people. But, she had no choice, and she picked up his hand and got up. ''Thanks'' she said, turning redder than a tomato, then, she saw the ravenclaw colors glimmering on his chest, for an instance, she felt jealous. She really wanted to be a Ravenclaw. But it seemed at thought she had a Hufflepuff character. She was, into her thoughts, whenn, she wokeup from them and cryed, ''The book!'', it was the green book she was reading. She didn't know where it was. After all, she had to organize all the other books that, at the moment, were on the floor, ''Oh, what a mess!'' she cryed, she never liked messes. Books everywhere on the floor. ''Thank you'' she said to the Ravenclaw boy, with a forced smile on her face, ''I'm May, May Moonstar, and you are?'' she said. She didn't want to sound unpolite. She had to comfront her shyness.
Sorry for the late reply, I totally forgot about it!

The boy felt very nervous he had never talked to another student before let alone a girl! But she seemed nice and just as nervous and embarrassed as he did. Plus she needed help and thats what heros in the books did right? He tried to look more confident as he introduced himself "Tyr Weathervain, first year in ravenclaw." he looked around at the fallen books wincing. The poor books! he started to reorganize the books making sure that none of them were damaged. He then paused he must look so silly fretting about books. The blush that had left his face seemed to pour back as he looked up at the girl. "I'm sorry....I figured I could help and got a little carried away.." he hoped that she'd believe his lame excuse when he spotted it. The most beautiful book he has ever seen! Its cover was green with gold embellishments, he had to know if the pages inside it where as fantastic and exciting as the cover! He grabbed it and turned to May eyes sparkling. "I wonder what stories it holds!" he said more to himself then to her but his voice held more confidence then he had shown thus far.

May smiled. It was nice to meet someone new too. ''Nice to meet you, then, Tyr! As you can see, there is a big mess here. I hope no book is damaged. After all, I am very fond of books. Are you?'' she asked confidently. She knew that to make friends she had to be nice, above all. Picking the green magical book, she shuffled the pages and said with a smile, ''It is a very magical book indeed, it helds neverending story's so far. Want to read it togheter?'' she asked, still smiling. At last someone ho liked to read! She was thrilled to know someone else than her, that liked books and stories, was in the library. All her feelings of being alone were carried away and May smiled to herself. She had, indeed spotted the little blush in his face. She, too, was very embarassed, but wanted to make people know ho she really was. Most people she knew, in the Muggle world, indeed, her being a Muggle born, did not liked books. But May had an advantage. Her mother was a librarian in the Muggle world. Exited by the news of reading a book with someone else, well, if he said yes, she sat on a puff chair and opened the first page of the green book.

Vera walked into the library to study and saw the people in the corner of the library and thought on introducing herself. But then she saw the mess of books and had almost decided to wait another day before talking to anyone else besides the nice girl who helped her at the picnic the other day. She decided to go help clean up because she couldn't just leave them alone like that. She needed to make a good impression on some people unlike her other schools. So she walked over and started helping with the books "I'm Vera Cresentmoon, Hufflepuff first year. I saw the mess and wanted to help! I hope you'll let me." Vera smiled softly as she picked up books and organized them. While she collected books she tried to make a good impression as these could be her first official friends that'd she ever had! "So what are your names?" Vera said this while trying to make a conversation. At the same time she worried about whether they would like her or not and became very anxious about whether they'd reject or accept her. She eagerly waited a response, taking a break from organizing the books.
Vera Cresentmoon, first year. Also please do not call me a plant

[quote]May was still very pink, for she never actually liked to be seen making a fool of herself. Still not knowing if the boy wanted to read the book, she saw someone entering the Library, to the table were she a pile of books and Tyr Weathervain were. She felt very nervous, she absolutely did not want loads of people to come and help them, or even maybe laugh. Then, May saw the Hufflepuff colors glow on her Hogwarts uniform. Well, that was much better. Better than a bunch of Slytherins or something May thought.
''I'm Vera Cresentmoon, Hufflepuff first year. I saw the mess and wanted to help! I hope you'll let me." she heard the girl say. Indeed, a Hufflepuff. That was good. And a first year too.
''N-nice to meet you then Vera, thanks for helping me guys, I wouldn't have done it without you you know.'' she said, blushing.
''So what are your names?" asked Vera. May hesitated at first, why did everyone had to be nice to her?
''My name is May Moonstar, first year, Hufflepuff, like you. It's nice to meet you Vera, and a very nice name you have'' May replied polietly. She waited for Tyr to reply too, so that the could be all friends./quote]
