Eva was annoyed on jow the Gryffindor told her what to do, but was surprised by the chocolate frog. She looked at it, then to the red and golded robed Gryffindor. "Ok, I own a few questions. Is this poisoned, bad, or dipped in coconut flavor?" She growled. She wasn't a trusting person, and she was allergic to coconuts. She stared at the two, awaiting and answer. She kept waving her wand around her hand, not up in the air. She was fidgeting and fiddling with it. She felt as if there was no point in trusting people when nobody is completely honest. So why have friends?

"....dipped in coconut flavor?"
Adam wasn't sure how he'd ended up at the empty table, but it seemed that most of Adam's anecdotes here at Hogwarts began that way. Apart from the crowded conversations of the House tables, this table seemed to go unnoticed by the majority of the school. Only three people inhabited in, two girls and a guy. Adam tried to remember their names; he thought he recognized them from their Sorting Ceremony, but he couldn't be sure. He at least remembered their houses: a shy Gryffindor, a bold Hufflepuff, and an apparently distrusting Slytherin. I guess I round it out, he thought. While he loved the Ravenclaw table, and most everything that happened there, it was nice to have a break once in a while. This could be his break.
Adam thought about it just a little bit more before walking over to the table. He wasn't sure what to say, or what to do, but he was hoping he'd get at least some friendly interaction from the experience. He was still looking to talk to as many people as he could early on in the school year, and decide his allegiances when necessary. These three students could prove to be amicable enough, and they'd be a strong group, with one from each house. The best of courage, cunning, loyalty, and wit. He turned to the empty table and sat down, meeting his classmates' eyes and simply asking,
"What's so bad about coconut?"

"I am allergic..." she turned to the other, looking at him. "Who the bloody hell are you?" She glared, not liking how the table is contaning more and more people. She looked to the gryffindor, then the hufflepuff, then to the new person. "Do not tell me you are ravenclaw...." she facepalmed. Then she avoided eye contact from the rest of them, as she kinda thought one of them was cute. She hid her blush in her hands, trying to not let off how she felt about the new crush. She didn't know if he was taken or not, so she kept her feelings hidden, as usual. She used her red hair to hide her blush, by putting it over the sude of her face. She then started reading a different book she carried with her to the great hall, reading things on the history of Hogwarts, trying to seem like a smart nerd, trying to impress. She bit her lip, and tried really hard to pay attention to the book. She really hoped he was single. Maybe if she was nice, the boy would possibly like her back, and give her a chance at possibly dating. She new the combination would be weird, being in diffdrent houses, but she's liked a gryffindor before. Can't be that bad.

"You're in luck," Adam replied, smiling jokingly, "I am a Ravenclaw. I'm Adam."
The girl had made her first impression already. She didn't seem to care much about changing the stereotypes that Slytherin was a house of jerks and snobs. He'd have to remember that. Adam turned his attention to the other two people sitting at the table. The girl, a Gryffindor, and the guy, a Hufflepuff. They hadn't said anything to him yet, but if they were as similar to their house reputations as the girl was to hers, he could guess how they'd act. The boy might crack a few jokes, try to get to know the rest of them, make some small talk. The girl would take the lead. She'd probably be the one making plans for the group, if they ever spent more time with each other. Then again, he could be wrong. The Gryffindor looked kind of shy, which was odd. Adam supposed that he shouldn't be making assumptions just based off of the Sorting, no matter how snake-like the first girl was.
He hoped someone talked again soon. Maybe he should. He was aware of the awkward silence sweeping over the table, and noticed that the Slytherin made an extra effort to hide her blushing face in her book. Huh. Maybe she had seen someone she knew.
"So..." Adam began, racking his brain for normal conversation pieces, "How are you all getting along in the castle?"

Perfect, this what was he had been looking for. Kaegen headed for the table, his perfect smooth walk still looking horribly awkward on the stone floor. He would have to practice walking later. Smiling slightly at his good fortune. There were people from all four houses. Now all he had to do was stand still for a while and listen. The girl was doing a horrible job of covering her blush. If he worked off of what little he could glean from the stereotypes, the gryffindor probably made some comment about the hufflepuff and the slytherin. He could work with this. And maybe the slytherin would be too preoccupied to notice his strange walk. That would stop some annoying questions.
Kaegen's goal was simple: he had met with several people from different houses, but he was unsure how they would react to each other in a situation like this. Kaegen found it interesting, and that was enough. He smoothly walked to the end of the table and then stood there, still as stone. He didn't really know how one was supposed to properly eavesdrop, but if you wanted to watch birds, you would sneak up, and then freeze. Sooner or later they would forget that you were there, and go on with their lives. Provided they were about as smart as birds, in about 10 minutes he would be essentially invisible. Worst case scenario he could watch them until the slytherin goes ballistic. They do that, don't they? Well, honestly she looked more like a hufflepuff someone called cute. So much for the violent and evil stereotype he had heard about.

Cameron entered the Great Hall from a long day of doing hours of homework. Feeling glad that his two assignments were over he went to the Gryffindor table and took a seat. The muffled voices of chatter around him seemed to numb his ears as he anxiously waited for the speech and for dinner to appear. His thoughts began to roam as he rested his chin on his hand and sighed heavily. If only I could advance a year. Knowing that it would be impossible and a rather long wait. Cameron didn't ponder that thought any further as he gathered a book out of his school bag and opened it on the table. Beginning to read, it was hard to focus due to the noise but his eyes kept going to the picture of the Doxy in his book. He stared at the photo wondering if Doxies come in different colors and sizes and sadly they didn't. Not like average normal animals and in the wizarding world he learned a lot about magical creatures. Cameron despised some of them that existed and found the rulings of the Ministry being a bit harsh. He wanted to find a way to not label such a creature with many rules. Believing that magical creatures had the same rights as wizards and witches. He knew that this train of thought wouldn't gain the acceptance amongst his peers.

Elena eyed the Slytherin as she analyzed the Frog offended at her statement that she'd actually try to poison her. She was getting a vibe off her and it wasn't a good one. The Griffinydor girl had a short temper as Eva was about find out. She snapped back a reply in a tense voie. "It's a perfectly genuine Chocolate Frog, it's not coconut flavored and no, it'd not poisoned. Nice to see you're so cautious about your health."She replied in a sarcastic tone munching on one. They were three now, all from different houses and as luck would have it, a Ravenclaw boy joined the trio. She gave him a small smile regaining her bearing after berating the Slytherin."Nice to see the Houses are mingling together." There was someone else standing at the end of the table that she paid no mind to. Elena was going over her analysis of the people at this table and Eva was pretty low on the list. The Griffinydor reached back into her book bringing out her Defense Against The Dark Arts textbook. Besides, there was better ways to spend the time then engaging in a verbal onslaught with the Slytherin. If she was in any of her classes, Elena wasn't sure if they'd get along."You mind if I ask what your schedule looks like?"She said to Eva, perhaps she'd be willing to share or to brag to share all the wonderful classes she was taking and thus, Elena would know if she'd have to worry about the snake. She wasn't so worried about the others, especially the Hufflepuff, he seemed the most chill.

Sometimes, things worked out. A huge grin spread across his face as a feeling of general well-being flooded his body. Who needed the mist? That girl glanced his way and didn't look twice! He was perfectly invisible, perfectly at ease. This would be very interesting, indeed. He wondered if the professors were as easy to hide from as these guys were. It sure would be nice if they were. He could go anywhere! He had been paying very close attention to the girl who cast the spell. The one who had just blushed. She seemed to be different, He wasn't sure if in a good way, or bad. She had power, he could tell that much from here. And you learn from power. He began to hum the pronunciation of the spell she just said. A hour of practice, maybe more and he could give it a shot. Slytherin seemed to be the most fragmented of the houses. Ambition was not very conducive to good teamwork. The other slytherins were laughing at that gryffindor boy, but this girl had just mastered a spell. That was probably why she was all alone. The top could be lonely. well, alone except for the other kids he was watching. The gryffindor girl was also pretty interesting, but everyone else sort of faded into the background, unimportant. Kaegen's eyes widened, trying to soak in every detail. He was going to learn these spells, sooner or later. He just had to work at it.

Meeting of Variety
Adam sat back, not wanting to get in the middle of a Gryffindor-Slytherin fight. While he waited for the girls to sort things out, he decided to inspect the other people at the assorted table. The Hufflepuff boy hadn't said much since Adam had arrived, but he seemed nice enough. Maybe Adam could get on better terms with him, maybe even become friends. At the end of the table, standing oddly still, was the boy from the train. What had his name been? Keagan or Reagan or something like that. He seemed to enjoy this odd hobby of making himself unnoticeable in the corner of a space. He didn't talk much, just seemed to appear there and observe.
Their table was really coming together. Their numbers had grown to five, and they had a representative from each House here at the table. If this went well, maybe the five of them could create a tribunal of some sorts; a place away from all of their houses where they could talk away from the cross-House feuds and stereotypes. At least, that was the hope. Hopefully the girls could get along well. For now, Adam would focus on getting to know the Hufflepuff.
He crossed the table and sat down next to the boy. Not right next to him, of course -- he didn't want the boy to feel uncomfortable. In as friendly of a tone as he could find, Adam introduced himself. "Hi! I'm Adam. How are you?"

A small slightly red-headed girl slid into a spot at the end of the table. She was short enough not to draw too many eyes toward her, though the inhabitants of the table had drawn Eris's eye. At first she was shocked to see so many people from different houses at the same table, as she looked on from the gyffindor table, mindlessly paying attention to a fourth year next to her prattle on about how much he hated sytherins. After a while, Eris's curiosity took over, and slipped into a seat at the table, hoping nobody would ask her to leave. She just wanted to listen, and to find out if people in different houses could really be nice to eachother.
So far it didn't seem so. From what Eris had observed, a sytherin and gyffindor were fighting. That seemed pretty normal. Hoping the two could resolve it, Eris looked at the rest of the people at the table. Two ravenclaws and a hufflepuff. Eris's curiosity peaked again. Not wanting to look like she was observing the others too carefully, Eris studied the table, waiting for somebody to call her out and ask her to leave or to introduce herself. Eris was fine with both, though she did want to stay at the table and learn more about the other houses.
