A Possibly Eventful Stroll
Serena walked down the corridors after lunch like she normally did for one day every week; with her arms full of books. It was a normal thing for her, and probably anyone that walked around either in the corridors or in the library. Her school uniform always made it a little hard to walk, but lately she had gotten a little use to the problems. Most of the books she had in her arms were books for school, but she had a few story books for her own time.
Serena turned her head to look out the window, barely able to see around the mound of books in her arms. It was dark and raining outside despite being nor long after lunch, but it was still a pretty sight to see the grounds of Hogwarts, and then beyond that, The Great Lake.
Serena turned forward again to continue walking, but she tried to walk to fast ahead, causing her to trip, dropping all of her books on the floor, followed by her body. She was hurt by the fall, specifically her arms due to them being out and in the weird position of holding the books. Maybe another student would help her pick of the books, check in her, or worse, make fun of her for falling down.

A Possibly Eventful Stroll
I am SO sorry this took so long! @Serena DaviesThea walked onto the second floor corridor soaking wet. She finished eating early and wanted to go for a stroll on the castle's grounds, but was soon met with the reality of it getting colder and darker with every second... not to mention the pouring rain. She could normally withstand it being cold and even rainy, but turns out Scotland was a bit more intense with the weather and what she was used to didn't even come close.
She tried to hold all of her books as far away from her rain soaked robes as she could, but that quickly proved to be difficult. The Hufflepuff girl started to rethink why she even went outside at all, and seems that that didn't help - already distracted by having to not get all of her supplies wet, that spacing out caused her to trip over her own clothes and drop everything. Seemingly, she wasn't the only one, since as she stumbled forward, trying to catch her balance, she tripped further over another girl.
Thea immediately scrambled herself off of the other girl. She felt her face light up and got on her knees to retrieve her books. "I am so, so, so sorry!" she said towards the other girl. "Are you alright?" she got up and extended an arm to the other girl, desperately trying to avoid eye contact.

A Possibly Eventful Stroll
"Why are you so clumsy? Can't even stand on your feet half of the time." she thought to herself as she slowly tried to push her body up, but then another girl tripped over her and fall, making Serena fall back down on the ground, smacking her face on the ground this time, not hard enough to cause it to bleed, but definitely enough to hurt. She felt the girls soaking wet uniform against her own, making chills go down her spine.
Serena groaned in pain as she felt the girl scramble off of her, slowly looking where she heard the girl apologize, saying, "Its fine, I was being clumsy.." She then looked around, suddenly realizing that even though most of the books she dropped were ones for school, the other ones were love books.
Serena's face went red as the girl held out her hand for her and asked if she was alright. Hoping the girl wouldn't notice the books she had dropped on the ground she took the girls hand and slowly stood up, her hand most likely feeling cold, like they always did. "yeah I'm fine, I fall all the time, its no problem." she said before trying to move into the girl's eye range so she wouldn't see the love books on the ground.

A Possibly Eventful Stroll
@Serena Davies I am so sorry. Again. Really. I promise.The poor girl took Thea's hand and got up. "I'm so sorry, I really didn't mean to!" Thea sighed and looked down at the ground. The other girl dropped her books and the Hufflepuff's cheeks went red with embarrassment as she looked at the other girl. She was taller than Thea, which by no means was hard to achieve - Thea was less than 5 feet tall. With a slender body, she actually looked quite underweight. Long brown hair, blue, curious-looking eyes. She wore Hufflepuff robes, which made Thea calm down the slightest bit.
The other Hufflepuff assured Thea it was fine, but Thea still felt a tinge of guilt as the girl moved into her line of sight. "No, I'm sorry, it's all my fault," she muttered, trying to calm down. She didn't need to panic right now. The girl bent down to help pick up at least some of the books the other Hufflepuff had dropped. "The least I can do is help, huh?" she chuckled awkwardly extending some of the books towards the other witch. She exhaled sharply, trying to calm herself down. There was no need to panic, right? People are clumsy all the time.
"My name's Thea," she chuckled again, trying to make small talk. If anything, she could at least get a friend from this experience, right?

A Possibly Eventful Stroll
Hearing the girl say it was all her fault made Serena feel terrible, so instead of not saying anything like she normally would she did something that her mother did to her when she blamed herself for something that she didn't do; she took her hand and ruffled the girl's pretty hair, saying, "Hey, I'm the one that tripped first, you don't have to feel bad. You tripped over me." She had no idea why she had decided to do that but she was hoping that it would make the girl feel better about their accidental crash.
Serena's brain screeched at her as the other Hufflepuff started to picking up books. Internally she was praying that the girl didn't see the love books and think that Serena was weird or something like that. She quickly picked up the books that the girl didn't, placing them on a windowsill before turning around and gently taking the books from the girl, smiling at her and placing the books beside the other ones.
When she heard the other girl introduce herself as Thea she smiled more and said, "I'm Serena." She looked around awkwardly, she still wasn't the best at social interactions, but she could at least try something. She thought for a few more seconds before saying, "So..yeah. I'm a Hufflepuff, and I see you are too," she gestured to Thea's before continuing with, "Are you a...what's the word they use..? Whatever a kid that comes to Hogwarts that wasn't from a direct magical bloodline."
