Get out of my way..!
----------PRIVATE RPG
Between Teiki Laurent (1st year, Hefflepuff )
and Yseult Silva (1st year, Slytherin)
Beginning of the year, September, at the entrance of the library
6:47, after classes and before dinner.
Meeting between the two characters
Yseult was late, as usual. She used to be punctual before, when she still had time to do it all, but this years was totally different. Before coming to Hogwarts, the young girl was the first one of her class, making no effort to get her high marks, but since the beginning of the year, she was running all the time, working all day and night, eating and when she had a bit of time, she was sleeping.
Those elements made her mood even more foul than usual, which was very complicated as Yseult was the type of girl you do not want to meet, all the time angry, arrogant, never willing to help, in other words, she was a pest.
She had no time for finding friends, and every person she had met yet was a muggle born, it was easy to say, they were all the time amazed by everything. She was fed up, and was not able to understand why the school had accepted so many ignorants and stupid fools to come.
Lost in her thoughts, Yseult was running. Indeed, she had to finish an herbology task before the next day, and even if she loved the subject, she literally had no time today.
'It is going to be a very long night ' she thought, 'I should get used to it'.
She kept running, the anger very visible on her face, her brown eyes looking exhausted.

Teiki wandered around the library. It was one of the few places where Teiki felt she could catch a bit of calm. That is, when the homework wasn't piling up. Luckily, it wasn't one of those days. She had a light pile, but it wasn't anything too serious. Nothing she couldn't handle, especially after the few previous rough days of entire stacks of scrolls and papers.
She had left her belongings on a table, pretty sure no one would steal such items. After all, it was only the required items for a First Year. The only thing unordinary was that in the middle of the pile, hidden under all the items, was a small bracelet, stars glittering.
Her wanderings had led her to some interesting books that she would probably read after she was completed with homework. She grabbed her two books, holding them in front of her chest. She walked back to her table, glancing down at her robes. They could probably use some washing, she decided. But the thought went no further, as she quickly found her on the ground. Glancing up a little, she realized that she had ran into another girl, who appeared angry or determined. Teiki quickly picked up the books, not wanting the spines to be hurt.
"I'm really sorry." She muttered when she had pulled herself up off of the ground. She didn't fully look into the other's eyes, an instinctive action from her previous school experiences.

While running, Yseult bumped into another student and stayed stationary, shocked by the violence of the impact. When she came back to her, she looked around her, angrily, and saw a young Hefflepuff student on the floor, picking up her books. True to herself, she did not help the unknown, but took long seconds to analyse the guilty person.
She was a young girl, that approximately was her age. She had very light skin, and very dark hair. 'Poor girl, she looks awful', thought Yseult, 'she reminds me of a Yin-Yang'. The Puffy girl seemed to be a little bit scared, as she was not looking at the blond girl in the eyes. Yseult, on the contrary and despite the fact that she was hurt, was enjoying the situation way too much, and that didn't bode well.
-"I'm really sorry." said the unknown, in rising.
All of a sudden, Yseult started to laugh, with one of those laughs that would scare a Boggart.
-"How dare you, you, stupid Muggle-brain, run into me like you did ? Do you know who I am ? Do you know how much you are going to regret this ?"
Amused by the emotions she was creating on the other's face, the blond one continued, and went even further. It was finally going to be a great day .
-"You should not be allowed to stay alive, Mudblood."

She paused at the laughter, looking at the stack of items not too far away. It was odd that the girl would start laughing at the event, but she hoped it was simply because of running into each other. She didn't realize that while her guess was technically correct, it wasn't in the connotation she expected.
She was a Half-blood, but it didn't matter. The girl was still being disrespectful to many of the students at Hogwarts. Plus, she had no clue who this girl was. She seemed to just be a First Year like herself. But still, it wasn't something she was prepared for. She tried to make eye-contact with the girl, but it still wasn't full eye-contact. Fear seemed to overtake the girl, and she took a small step back.
"No, I have no clue who you are. But it doesn't matter to me. You're being mean to students here who have magic and deserve to learn and understand what abilities they've been given." The girl had scrunched up her eyes, deciding it might make her still look determined without having to make eye contact. Her words seemed slightly determined, but fear quivered every other word. It was obvious she wasn't one for bravery.
Her eyes flashed open, shocked when the girl said that she shouldn't be alive. She bit her tongue angrily, blue eyes seeming to flash slightly with anger.
"That's not for you to decide." She muttered, any temporary bravery lasting for only a few seconds.

It was one of the firsts times someone dared answering Yseult, and she was kind of surprised. Fortunately, during her childhood, she had learnt how to hide her feelings, so her face was full of anger another time a second later.
Then she thought about what she had heard, and realised her opponent was not a Muggle. 'I must adopt a new strategy' said Yseult to herself, 'I have met a lot of 1st years here that grew up in a complicated context, and most of them are afraid of death.'
-"You should not be allowed to stay alive, Mudblood."
-"That's not for you to decide."
Victory ! Yseult had just found one of the Puffy's weak spots. 'Two possibilities : or a close person to her died, or she was bullied and thought about suicide. It should make things easier.' She smiled even more when she noticed the dark-haired girl was not able to stare at her more than a few seconds.
-"You are right, that is not for me to decide", said the young Snake, "but you should seriously think about it, I am just saying this in your own interest. Seriously, look at you Yin-Yang. I bet you inspire pity to everyone you meet."
No sooner had she finished than she grabbed the with by the arm, and threatened her with her wand.

This wasn't something she was ready for. The girl already had the aura of superiority, so Teiki felt that it was her role to be submissive. It was already ingrained in her head from previous experiences. But none of them had ever said anything against a group. Only against her. She wasn't sure how to take this, and wished she had some strength in her.
But that didn't happen. She watched the girl, the fear easily seen in Teiki's eyes. She watched the ground, trying not to let the words reach her. But they did. And it hurt. Her eyes burned, and watered, but she had to say something against it. Or else she would truly hate herself.
"I- No. I'm not some freak for you to pester. And I bet you inspire pity, too. Cruel." Her mistake came from the words. She had admitted to the pity, suspecting it was true. And the first sentence brought doubt to her head. Was she a freak? Her own attacks at the girl seemed to deflect back onto herself, and nothing was working. She didn't want to deal with this. At least the other girls had had a demand and a consequence. This, though, was another level. And she had no idea how to get herself out of it.
She yelped, not having the strength to get out of the grip. Seeing the wand, her best attempts were to wriggle, attempting to stay out of view of the mayhaw wood.

Seing the stranger doubt of herself made Yseult gloat. As usual, she was the superior one. Yin-Yang only tried to wriggle in order to defend herself, and it was amusing a lot the blond teenager. Of course she was not going to cast a terrible spell on her, she was not suicidal, she did not want to be sent back home, but she seriously wanted to enjoy the situation.@Teiki Laurent
She took the fakest voice she could, and said :
-"Oh sweetheart, you are so funny. One day we will meet again, outside of Hogwarts I hope, and this time it will not end this well. I promise you, you should be thankful."
As she still had her wand touching the Puffy's neck, she took advantage of it and, in a low voice, Yseult recited the magic formula of the Hair-thickening Charm.
When literally two seconds later, she realised the hair of her aggressor was growing up very fast, she understood her mistake and stopped the spell. It was approximately ten centimetres longer that a minute earlier. Satisfied, she gave a very friendly glance to the young girl, and asked for her name.
Hasn't she finished that she was already leaving the poor Hefflepuff teenager alone and shocked.
-"Oh, Muggles..."

She could hear the honey in the Slytherin's voice. Fake, yet sweet. Taunting the young girl. It made the entire situation seem as though the other witch was going easy on the Hufflepuff. As if she was a worthless prey, nothing but a simple tap needed to crumble the tower of her defense and strength.
She felt the wood on the back of her neck, causing her to cringe. It didn't feel good, and it certainly didn't mean anything good. She could hear the whispers brush her neck, which was covered by long strands of black hair that she had decided to leave down today. She could feel it slowly move down farther. With how long her hair already was, this sort of thing wouldn't normally matter to the girl. She would assume it was a prank, or perhaps admire it, before moving on, not caring. But this girl had already threatened herself and students at Hogwarts. She was a Hufflepuff, after all, and it didn't feel right for any group to be so forcefully put down simply because of their family.
Then the Slytherin glanced at her in a friendly manner. And asked her name. This confused her, as she hadn't seemed to care before. She stuttered a bit, before eventually saying, "Teiki?" Her tone was confused. Not because she didn't know her name (-_-), but because she didn't understand. Why would the girl want that?
She was walking away. It was the only chance where Teiki could stand up to her. She didn't feel the girl's eyes taunting, her voice manipulating. All she saw was her back. She ran forward, trying to grab the girl's wrist, so that she wouldn't leave just quite yet.
Even if this didn't work, she still demanded, "Why would you say all that? What- I- I don't understand." The last sentence was a murmuring. Again, the girl seemed to let down her guard to the other. Teiki didn't have the experience to realize that that probably wasn't a good idea.

-"Teiki?" Said the black haired teenager.
Even if Yseult had heard the answer, she turned, ignoring her answer, and started to leave.
Suddenly, Yin-Yang grabbed her wrist and murmured something the blond girl could not even understand. This was definitely the worst decision of her life, she was going to regret doing this.

Angrily, the young Silva turned to the Hefflepuff... and panicked. This instant was only visible for a few seconds and she seriously hoped none had been able to notice that. With violence, she pushed the other student on the ground and without a word, left.

Indeed, a few months earlier, while she was walking in London, trying to get to the Diagon Alley, a Muggle man caused her a trauma. He was tall, and he had back hair and eyes. His skin was dark too, and he was wearing light colours. At the beginning, Yseult did not notice that he was following her, but when she arrived at a corner, she realised what was happening. At this precise moment, the man grabbed her wrist, just like Teiki did, and immobilised her. Her pulled the blond girl to a strange and empty street, and he tackled her against a wall. Yseult has no memory of what happened during the ten minutes it lasted, but she remembers being alone, nearly naked and cold. Then, she slowly dressed, and without even crying, she went back to the alley to buy her stuff for Hogwarts.

Perhaps grabbing her wrist wasn't the right answer. The girl seemed momentarily stunned. Then, she quickly turned around to face the Hufflepuff. While the girl wasn't good at seeing emotions, she did see a change. In expression. Whatever it meant, she had no clue. She left go of the other girl's hand, her question forgotten by the two of them. The few moments that she had were enough to study the other girl's face. Hopefully she would figure it out soon. It seemed as if the girl... needed help? Another quick moment told her scared. But of what? Teiki's hand? She glanced down at it quickly, but felt two hands planted firmly on her shoulders.
A quick push by the other girl, and Teiki was back down on the ground. She hesitated, still scared of the other Slytherin. In that moment, the girl left. Teiki paused, before shifting into a more comfortable position on the ground.
Fear. It was a powerful thing. So were the words against muggleborns. But perhaps it was fear. Just like when she had grabbed the girl's wrist. Teiki waited momentarily, deciding. But the decision was easy. The girl was hurt, and she was going to try to help. She knew she would be beaten down again, but what's another time? After enough, it just became a cycle. A new cycle, with a new bully, but still the same.
She hoped that she would run into this girl again.
Teiki leaves the thread.
