Anxious, excited, scared. The eleven year old boy had mixed feelings in going to Hogwarts. He had just gave a final wave to his parents, and now he was sitting in an empty compartment. The train had roared its engine and the siren wailed for a moment, indicating that it was departing now. As the train began to move forward, Nick let out a heavy sigh, before taking out textbooks from his luggage. He inspected and observed each and one of them, and one of his favourite was Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Putting the other books back and arranged into his luggage, he rested the book on top of his laps, as he began to skim the book. Different creatures which were taught as mythical to the Muggles were real in the wizarding world. At least that's what the boy can conclude from skimming the book before. Taking a a pause, he looked out to the window. Platform 9 3/4 was no longer in sight, and had left behind the train probably.
With both hands on top of the page of the book, and his gaze through the window, he seemed to be in some sort of a trance. In his mind, he was imagining his first friends, his house, the classes, the Castle. His parents told him about the Castle alone. It was huge, magnificent and great, his parents had said. But at the moment, he was sitting in an empty compartment. Changing his gaze, he turned to look upon the sliding door to see if anyone had come to sit with him.
The longer he waited, the more anxious he had become. Who shall he met first? What if they were a bully? What if they were gits? One could only wonder, and one's wonder shall soon be answered.

Lindsey looked around for a empty compartment but didn't find one. She came across a compartment with only one person. " it's better then sitting with a bunch of people I don't know it's less people to talk to maybe he's nice" she thought to her self. She opened the sliding door.
A girl with medium length brown hair in a high ponytail and brown eyes that sparkled in the light with round glasses with gold color rims that shined on her head as well as her nails painted with a sparkly black matte nail polish .
Her trunk with her and Hogwarts a history in hand. She sat her things down and sat down as well. she moved her gold color glasses to her face. She picked up her book and began reading. She was fascinated by all things magic. She had already read fantastic beasts and where to find them. She planed on finishing Hogwarts a history before they got to the school.
She heard about the houses and their traits in diagon alley. She was hoping to be a ravenclaw she thought it was the best house. " they are so intelligent I would love to be a ravenclaw" she thought to her self once again. @Nickolas Callaghan

She put her book down. She chuckled. She shook his hand " I'm Lindsey Bush and yes I'm a first year nice to meet you Nicholas " she smiled and let go of his hand. It was pretty easy to tell she's a muggle born.
She moved her glasses back to her head. " so do you like books? I do I already read fantastic beasts and where to find them. And I hope to finish Hogwarts a history before we get there" she said.
Once someone talks to her she stops being shy and can't stop talking. " what house do you want to be in? I want to be in ravenclaw my dad said I'd be a good hufflepuff but I don't think so" she said.
" he is nice maybe I could make a friend before getting to hogwarts . I really want be ravenclaw I hope I'm not hufflepuff I mean I'll be happy with whatever house I get but I want ravenclaw not hufflepuff" she thought to her self.
" what's your favorite book " she said wanting to get to know him so maybe they can be friends so she won't be so alone when she gets to hogwarts. " Hogwarts here I come " she thought to her self. @Nickolas Callaghan

"What... you've read all of this already?" Nick had his doubt but maybe she really did finished reading the book. "So, what is your favourite creature then?" He asked, not to test her but curious. And of course, for the sake of conversation. Afterall, she was the first friend he would befriended with in Hogwarts. And it all started at the train.
The girl asked of house he wanted to be in. His parents had told him about the houses of Hogwarts, and he really had no idea which was his favourite, but excited to see what the Sorting Hat will choose for him. "I have no preference really, I'm just excited to see what Sorting Hat would put me in." He replied.
"My favourite book? It' be The Tales of Beedle the Bard. My grandma had read the stories for me and I must say... The Tale of Three Brothers was my favourite. The best part? The tale was real. The Deathly Hollows were real! At least that's what my grandma told me." He shrugged. But talking about it had made him to have the excitement rushed once more.
"Where do you live? Are you a Muggleborn? Me myself is a halfblood, but I live in Godric's Hollow. You wouldn't believe it wasn't just the wizards who live there, but the Muggles too!"

" yes I have read it all my favorite is a Hippogriff they are so cute if I could I'd have one has a pet" she said with a bright smile. " did he read it all as well if so I'd be good to know I'm not the only one reading ahead " she thought to her self.
" it's good to not have a preference that way you don't get disappointed if your not in that house. Do you know the traits of every house? " she said " if I don't get ravenclaw I'll be upset but I'm sure I'll love whatever house I get" she thought to her self.
" I've heard of the deathly Hallows but I never heard the story of the three brothers. Is it good " she said " I feel like a outsider for not knowing much about magic " she thought to her self.
" I live in London in a house not to far from kings cross station. Yes I'm muggle born. And that sounds so cool muggles and wizards living in peace it sounds amazing. " she said with a smile.
