FINALLYYY
So far today has been amazing! I sent out a letter to my father using his owl! He let me borrow him for now. And that’s absolutely wonderful! Now I could carry out my plan! Which may be a complete surprise to Mikey. Or may not. After all I did warn him.Word Count: 229Ooc notes! Sorry for the late starter!Interactions:@Mikey ForvilleDate: August 11th 2025
My smile is wide as I finish setting up all of the envelopes all. There is three envelopes. Green Purple and blue. Filled with glitter bombs the same colors as the envelopes. But only one has a letter.
This is what the letter says. Which some how took me 20 thousand tries to write because I was wayyyy to distracted. Tsk tsk.
I feed my fathers owl, Rocket, before I send him off. I watch him fly off and almost burst in laughter when I see Rocket land next to a boy that’s about 4 feet in front of me. He’s talking to someone when he gets the letters. I pray in anticipation that he opens them. If he don’t then I’ll go up and introduce myself.Dear, Glitter BoyAugust 11th 2025
Guess What!!!! Im here! And I can’t wait to see ya! Im so freaking excited! Also my hair may be filled with glitter due to a failed experiment. So if you have seen a girl with glitter all over her that’s me!
See ya soon!
FINALLYYY
It was just his luck that the moment he finally worked up the nerve to say something to the boy he’d just met, an owl swooped down and landed squarely beside him. Rocket. He knew that owl. He blinked at the three envelopes now sitting in his hand. Green. Purple. Blue. His first thought was, She actually sent me mail here? His second was, Oh no.
He did promise, though. He’d told her once that if she ever sent him anything weird, he’d open it. Right then and there. No excuses. He gave the boy he’d been talking to an apologetic half-smile. “Hang on, I owe someone a very stupid promise. You might want to step back.”
Tearing all three open at once felt like the only way to do it. The moment his fingers slid the paper free, the world turned into a glitter storm. Green, purple, and blue flakes exploded in his face, hair, and coat. He actually staggered a step back, coughing through laughter.
Of course, one of them had an actual letter. Hazel’s handwriting danced on the page, the words exactly what he should’ve expected. He ran a hand through his hair, sending more glitter raining down, and grinned toward the path ahead. “I should have known,” he muttered under his breath. He pocketed the letter, still sparkling under the sun like some sort of human disco ball. Every step he took after that left a faint trail of color on the ground, the proof of her “gift” catching the breeze and drifting away. There was no hiding this now half the school was going to see him like this.
And knowing Hazel, that was probably the point.

FINALLYYY
I burst out laughing once I see Mikey open up the letter. He step back from the guy and then opened them. Green, purple and blue glitter explodes, covering him and the ground around in glitter. Once it settles down I walk up behind him.Word count: 273

"Mikey!! I saw the whole thing! Turns out I was behind you the entire time!" My dads owl flies to me. I give him a piece of biscuit. Once Rocket is eating away happily I turn my attention towards Mikey, "Your nothing what I pictured! Honestly I don't know what I pictured but definitely not this! How are you? And its wonderful to finally meet you! I'm so glad I came."
I dig through the bag I have putting Rocket down. Once I find a napkin, I hand it to him and then pick Rocket back up. "Here, you could wipe your face. The glitter may not be fully out for about 3 days or more. I was testing something out and it failed," I point to my hair, "As you can see"
I smile at him, pausing for he could answer. It was incredibly wonderful that we were finally meeting. I was extremely happy and excited! I study Mikey as he talks. He got brown hair, dark and now glittery due to me, brown eyes. He's taller than me but not by much. I smile once more and pull out two Hershey bars and offer him one before opening one for myself.
"All this excitement makes me hungry. Or maybe that's because I haven't eaten all day. Have you seen bree already? Anyone special a meeting tonight?"

Mikey was still running his fingers through his hair, trying and failing to get the glitter out, when Hazel walked over, laughing as if she had been waiting for this moment. He turned to her slowly, his expression caught between a groan and a smile.
“Yeah, you saw all that,” he said dryly, but the corners of his mouth gave away his grin. “Figures. Like the universe would ever let me have any dignity.” He flicked his hand and watched a streak of purple glitter catch the light as it floated away. “So congrats, Hazel. I’m officially the school’s new holiday decoration.”
He took the napkin but only dabbed at his cheek once and then held it up. “Completely useless. I’m going to be shiny until Christmas at least. Maybe forever.”
When she offered him the Hershey bar, he perked up. “Alright, now that I’ll take,” he said, tearing it open and snapping off a piece. “Although, I’m not sure one American chocolate bar makes up for you trying to glitter-bomb me into next year.”
He popped the piece into his mouth and brushed off another shower of green sparkles from his sleeve. “I haven’t seen Bree yet,” he added with a shrug. “I figured she’d show up eventually. But ‘anyone special’… maybe. Possibly. Depends on who’s asking.” His grin turned sly as he raised an eyebrow at her. “I’m hoping to see her later today.”
Then he put on a fake-serious look, though his smile gave him away. “So, should I worry about more of these letters showing up, or am I just doomed to sparkle every time an owl looks at me the wrong way?”
