A collection to behold

Nick got up, or more precisely, stumbled away from his table, grinning ear to ear. "I heard the forest is out of limits but you can still see really cool fog from the castle! From the dormitory you can see the entire lake stretching super far away so I think it may be a lot bigger than it looks! I think the lake is really deep too, I heard there's merpeople living down there and other super creepy things-" He paused to take a long deep inhale of air before he continued talking. "Oh I didn't ask, what is your favorite class so far? I love potions and I love charms! My dad writes books about potions so I know a few potions already! Although the teacher is pretty scary-"

Then when she spoke he paused and finally looked down at the delicate origami he had made, she seemed to really like it and he had no issue giving a few of those away.

"No! You can keep it!" He nodded eagerly, at least he was pretty pleased that his new friend enjoyed his art. "You know if you want, one day I can teach you how to make them! I know how to make so many things, like dragons, frogs, horses, swans, butterflies, flowers, oh my mother loves flowers so I make flowers for her all the time-" and he kept going on and on.
