Hello Person
I go into the library ready to look for a new book. I don't really know how many books Iv'e read at this point but I know I've read a lot by now but I just can't help it reading is amazing.
I know I should be making friends but I'd rather be reading right now, I love this room its probably my favorite room here especially considering that dad loved this place so much.
I step through the doors and onto the hard wooden floor and I hear my footsteps echo into the cavern like room. I wonder if I can find a new passage but I want to get a new book first so that I can read while I find a place to hide.
I'm starting to realize I care more about finding secret passages and reading books and exploring the castle that my dad ran through nearly 20 years ago. I wonder how dad felt when he came here when he was a kid, being muggle born he had no clue. Its actually laughable that someone gifted with magic could grow up with no clue that he was a magic.
I step up to the shelf and begin to look for a book.

Hello Person
Hestia stands in front of the bookshelves, unsure of where to begin. While Hestia wasn't the largest fan of reading, but this seemed like an efficient way to learn about a world that Hestia spent 11 years not knowing she was a part of it. She wondered down the shelves, thinking that maybe if she looked long enough she would eventually figure out how this place was organized. A couple minutes, that felt like hours of grabbing books, then being displeased with the titles she slumped against the bookshelf in frustration. After spending a couple seconds of this nonsense she picked up her head to continue. Then she saw something..well someone in the corner of her eye.
It was another young brunette, just like herself. Unlike herself, however this other first year was sifting through the books with clear diligence. Odd child.... If Hestia was going to successfully deploy the other girl's help then she would obviously keep that to herself. She silently watched the other girl happily move about whilst formulating the perfect sentence to gain assistance. Once she knew that she had it, she headed over to other girl. Hestia felt confident, she had thought her string of words out well...Nothing could go wrong..
"Hello there, do you know where there could be some books that could help me learn about all the wizard stuff..."

Hello Person
I jumped out of my skin, a girl, a Slytherin non the less was stood next to me with perfect poise. Jannie Mac what do I gotta do now.
" Um...Well what do you want to know, spells, history, ect "
Man I sound like a nerd. I silently looked the girl down, she had brown hair, green eyes and a birthmark over her eyebrow. What was shocking about her though was that she was a Slytherin. How come a Slytherin was in the library this late? How come she was asking about the wizarding world? Aren't all slytherins all wizard born or pure blood?
This girl is putting so many questions into my head. I'm not used to wondering about people seeing as I usually don't care and keep to myself.
She had a look to her though like she was feeling out of place. I can tell I know that look. I saw it in Jack miller and I see it in myself.
I looked about seeing that the only other people in the room were two Ravenclaws, which is predictable, and the librarian and realize that I probably stick out as much as this Slytherin does, so I decide, as I'm trying to make traditions come to an end and all that I may as well try to be her friends, she seems okay.
"so...whats your name?"

Hello Person
Hestia was quite worried when she startled the Gryffindor girl. Luckily despite the fact that Hestia had startled he she seemed, nice and open to talking. She thought about her questions, obviously she knew how to respond to the questioning of what her name was, but what exactly was she looking for bookwise? If Hestia was being completely honest with herself, she wanted to know everything. That would be ridiculous though, there was no such book that could provide her with such information..
Well...My name is Hestia Bauer..I guess you can say I'm just trying to find something that'll help me get the gist of thing..I've already learned a little, for example I know what a muggle is and I'm starting to figure out how the currency works, but I still feel a little clueless...I spent most of my life believing that I was a normal K-[/quote Hestia had to remind herself about the word she told this girl she knew. Her definition of normal was probably different from the wizard definition of normal. She smiled awkwardly. Not wanting to seem like she was making this just about her Hestia quickly added,Muggle...Typically Hestia wouldn't divulge this amount of information, but the Gryffindor's seemingly nervous demeanor made Hestia put down her guard. And you? What's your name?

"oh m..my name? Its Alex, Alex Tyler. and um...books? okay you might want to read a history of magic and a book called A Muggle-borns Guide to The Wizarding World those really help"
I suddenly realize how odd I must look right now. I remember reading a muggle studdy saying that human comunication is like 70 percent body language. That's fun, so if this girl can read body language properly she can probably tell I feel odd, lets just hope she doesn't end up coming to the conclution that I'm crazy like people usually do.
I look right into the girls eyes, they're pretty but I can tell they hold secrets, as most people's eyes usually do. Like Jack and Rafa's eyes did that day, like mine do. But I have learned that if you teach yourself you can minipulate even the secrets your eyes hold. I learned to do that.
Judging by the girls eyes she has pain and anger in her, and a lot of it. She seems to have the eyes not of a Slytherin but a Gryffindor, she looks like she has that fire in her soul, the fire I'm so sure I lack.
"so ya new here to...you a muggle-born or someat?"

Hello Person
Hestia took noted the books Alex recommended. Now that she knew what knew what to read, she need to know where to find it. Before she could ask that Alex asked an interesting question.
"Well...No..actually.."
From what Hestia had overheard, most children with any wizarding parents were told about the wizarding world. It wasn't a common thing to hide it until the last minute. Hestia still felt bitter about the fact that her mother told her nothing about the magical part of her life. Perhaps Hestia wouldn't be as lost if her mother had been honest from the start. The only thing that Hestia knew about her reasoning for hiding this important detail was that she was 'too you to understand' this made Hestia feel more frustrated.|
"I'm a...." Hestia took a moment to try and recall the word for it.... "half-blood, my mom is a witch and my dad is a normal guy, for some odd reason my mom hid everything from me..it would be a hell of a lot more easier for me if she didn't do that, but oh well..." She laughed as a way to hide her bitterness..She didn't want alex to immediately know the resentment that she was carrying with herself.
