~ Little Agi ~

Diagon Alley was husting a bustling, people moving about needily with bags weighing them down. Agnes nearly thought they would sink into the earth.

The shop Magical Menagerie could be seen by its sign, and Agnes rushed over. She wanted (and needed) a pet for Hogwarts. When she walked in, a kind women with fluffy white hair and an apron looked up after tending to some purple rats. "Ernest!" The women called, her ed lips up in a smile. "Yes, Anita?" A male voice could be heard. "A costumer!" Anita called. A man wearing tattered and messy clothing came out of the backroom, and his face brightened a little.

"Ah, A Hogwarts student I suppose?" He spoke, Agnes nodded. " I'm looking for a pet..." She murmured.

" Ah! What kind?" The short, round women said, wiping her hands on her apron and tugging off some leather gloves she was wearing.

"Preferably a snake...but if not that's fine too"

Ernest looked to his wife, and smiled, adjusting his glasses.

"I have just the little buddy for you..." He hummed.

"An Israeli mole viper, they can grow up to to 80 cm, or in other words, 31 inches" He held the baby snake that was barely 6 inches up to her. "Born not too long ago...its a boy by the way, he's just barely four months old" The tiny snake curled up in his warm palm.

"They tend to feed on other snakes. It also eats rodents, lizards, and occasionally small birds, so feed him well!"

She gently took the snake.

"I'll take him..." She said.

"I knew he would go well with you..." Ernest spoke.

"What will you name the little fellow?" Anita hummed happily as she registered Agnes' wizard money.

Agnes looked down at the slumbering snake.

"I think...Agi suits him well..."

Agi curled up in her breast pocket, wiggling softly.

She bid Ernest and Anita goodbye.
