The sounds of the Scottish highlands can sound a lot like music to those willing to listen. As Adeline made her way across the grounds, the soothing rhythm of crunching gravel underfoot paired with the usual bird song and rustling grass lulled her into a contemplative mindset.

It was all so bitter-sweet. Adeline's first year at Hogwarts had proven many things to her. The girl had planned on the studying, the haunted halls, and the eccentric students, but she had not prepared to become so attached. Hogwarts had started to feel like home, so much so that going back to Tenby seemed ... impossible. She missed her parents, of course, but there was something special about the castle, and its occupants.

Hogwarts, for once in her life, made her feel as if she was not alone.

As she padded blissfully her spot, Addie took moments to stop from time-to-time, and look back at the familiar view behind her. It was a gorgeous, sunny day, and the castle was in perfect view. It still put butterflies in her stomach, the grandeur of it all.

Once the girl reached her garden, she was more than pleased to find that the flowers she had planted that spring had thrived, creating a beautiful wave of color. After snapping and developing a photo for her mother, she picked a dainty primrose from the flower patch and tucked it behind her ear before taking one more picture- this time of herself, with the castle she had grown to love behind her.

Adeline carefully applied the developing potion to the photo, grinning as the image sprung to life. "One for the books." she whispered to herself absentmindedly, sliding the photograph into her overall pocket. The young Ravenclaw plopped down on one of the large, grey stones, and took the view in as a first year student, one last time.
