There are those who say that Hufflepuffs are calm. There are also those who say that a Hufflepuff isn't capable of causing trouble. But there is one boy who, single-handedly, is capable of making everyone pay their tongue: Jonas Sinclair, one of the several first years sorted into Helga Hufflepuff's honorable house.


Some would describe Jonas as "a little brat," while he prefers to describe himself as "A fanatic for new discoveries". This description certainly suited Jonas—that is, for a child who grew up dismantling his mother's Muggle furniture and appliances and asking impertinent questions of his father. Indeed, there's no better description for the mischievous young man.
His messy hair was constantly bouncing around as he ran back and forth! His gray-blue eyes served as magnifying glasses, capable of finding amusement in the smallest things. Jonas prefers lighter clothing (nothing that takes a long time to put on), so he's often seen in sloppy clothes.
Carrying the Badger's values to heart, Jonas is outgoing, loyal, and friendly—which can spell trouble for those who dare to raise their wands against his friends. For him, his friends are the second pillar in his life, second only to his family.


Jonas was born in Brighton, England, on June 8, 2014. He is the son of Malcolm Sinclair, a wizard specializing in magical creatures, and Diana Sinclair, a primary school history teacher. Raised between his father's magical world and his mother's skeptical one, Jonas lived in a home where reality seemed to walk a tightrope between the ordinary and the extraordinary.
Even without knowing exactly what awaited him, Jonas grew up listening to stories of Hogwarts and the wizarding world from his father. When the letter finally arrived, he was more relieved than surprised. Perhaps, deep down, he always knew he belonged in that other world and that Hogwarts would be just the beginning of the greatest adventure of his life.

The first time something magical happened to Jonas, he was 7 years old. It was a rainy day in Brighton, England, and he was stuck indoors with his older cousins, who had hidden his favorite toy—a stuffed dragon named Quim. Frustrated and angry, Jonas ran down the hallway so hard that the closet door where the toy was hidden flew open by itself, pushing one of his cousins back. The toy flew through the air and landed in his arms—as if it had been called.
Everyone was stunned, including Jonas, who felt a strange energy vibrate in his chest, as if the world had responded to his emotion. Later, his father smiled knowingly, as if he had expected this all along.
