The Quaffle had but left the referee's hand and immediately three Chasers flew after it! Annie Morgan almost touched the Quaffle, when suddenly a newer player of the Gryffindor team snatched it right in front of her! Rafael D'Spacito had now only one more thought in mind. Throw that ball inside of those hoops!

As he neared Asteria Kurokawa's domain he focused. With a quick fake throw to the left and ending it with throwing the red leather ball to the right, he scored!

10 POINTS FOR GRYFFINDOR!!!!!

At the same time somewhere else on the pitch Kyle DeRook was out for blood! Aiming at the Hufflepuff Seeker he slammed the Bludger with all his might! The Bludger, like a cannon shot, shot forth and before Julie Shaw knew what happened it slammed her right in the chest! Caught of guard to busy finding that golden glimmer she was struck off of her broom! As she plummeted towards the grass, she was suddenly stopped mid flight! Dawn Riley had come to save the day and is now carrying Julie Shaw on her broom!

At the same time Quinn Healy prepared to take revenge for his Seeker! With a cracking sound, that couldn't mean anything good, he hit the Bludger that was aimed for the Gryffindor Captain! The Bludger soared through the air and at the very last minute Kyle had pulled his broom and dodged, what would've definitely been, a 'killing' blow!

Somewhere else a Gryffindor Seeker wasn't focused on what was happening around him, but merely for that Snitch! Unfortunately Lamik Fillestar was unable to find it. Julie on the other hand had before she was knocked off of her broom located the Snitch!

Once Kyle was in position moments before the balls were launched into the air Kyle met Arlis's gaze then pointedly looks towards Lamik and and drew a circle with his bat, the sign which meant to protect him. Kyle nodded at Arlis and then the balls were launched into the air and the players began to whiz around like a bunch of wild bees.

Kyle moved above the chaos of the chasers going for the ball as he tracked and began to move into a collision course with a bludger. He had a lock on his target, the hufflepuff seeker. Without them the game couldn't be won and people were sure to try and protect her which left less people focusing on his team. With a loud *CRACK* He struck the bludger and as it struck and knocked her from the broom the announcer boomed

"10 Points Gryffindor!"

Kyle let out a loud cheer and lifted his bat into the air, then something caught his eye. A bludger was coming right for him! just in the nick of time he clutched his broom tightly and dipped to the right in a barrel roll and narrowly avoided the bludger, then looking to where it came from he saw the beater responsible and pointed bat at them shook his head before laughing and charging back into the fray once again, tracking his next bludger

Donny sat on the second string bench as the match began. It was almost too surreal. Being able to see it it in a first person view this close! As everything sprung into action, Donny watched carefully, studying their moves. The chasers batted around the quaffle, each stealthily attempting to steal it from the the opposing team. But it was two Gryffs against one Huffle. Annie was doing her best to fend off against them. "Let's go Annie!" Donny cheered, throwing his fist up in the air and cheering for his team.

He then heard quite the commotion, which hopefully didn't mean the worst. It was Julie! She'd been hit by a bludger! As she was sent flying downward, no hope in her eyes, Dawn Riley swiftly swooped her up onto her broom, saving Julie! It was just in time as well. Julie was the seeker for the Hufflepuffs, and the golden snitch had to be in sight somewhere. "Whew! Let's go Dawn!" he said, as she brought Julie to safety.

"flutter, flutter, flutter"

Donny heard. Could that be...the snitch! Julie had seen the snitch! She jetted over to the location! Donny sat up and cheered for his team, totally forgetting he was a part of it! "Lets's go Hufflepuff! Catch that snitch!"

Piérre received the adorable lion plushie from Lamik with excitement. It was evidently a child’s toy, but that was what added more charm to the thing. Smiling up at Lamik, Piérre wished him good luck just as he flew into position.

No sooner had the Quaffle been thrown that everything happened at once. Chasers went left and right and within a second...

”TEN POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR!”

”Yeah! Way to go, guys!” Piérre cheered aloud, standing up and lifting the toy, which Lamik had named Pringle. Piérre shook the creature’s arms, making look as if it were celebrating.

A few Bludgers and a glitter of what Piérre thought could have been the snitch went by. The streak had been too quick for him to confirm, however, and he watched as Lamik soared back and forth, searching for the elusive golden ball. ”You got this, Lamik! I belieeeeeve!” Piérre whooped once again, sitting down and letting out a roar like his captain had demanded before the game. ”ROAR!”

The game had only started, but Gryffindor had already scored first! This match was nothing like the game with Ravenclaw! They had to win, they had to. Millie would never recover if they lost.

She knew the new teammates had what it took to score some points, but now they had to win the game. It wasn't impossible, no. If they could beat Hufflepuff, then they could try and beat Slytherin, then face off against Ravenclaw one more time, and prove that they were the best team Hogwarts had seen yet! Harry Potter who? Step aside, the boy who lived!

Gryffindor team at Hogwarts would win this, and be the best team the school had seen yet! But for now, they just had to get through the game and get the damn Quaffle through the hoop.

Who needs 'ta breathe..
She should have known the bludger would be coming for her, her eyes were far too keen at spotting that golden speckle, and this time she'd hoped she was prepared to dodge the Bludger just as easily. Yet, despite all her experience from the previous game, that golden glint got the better of her as her attention zeroed in on that dazzling little orb, all of her focus shifted as she locked on target. WHAM! Her breath practically scrambled through her airways as she was hit directly in the chest by one of the flying monstrosities, her eyes never leaving the snitch as she grunted in pain and slid from her broom. There was something serene about falling, watching the golden speck flit around tauntingly, and then she wasn't. Dawn had caught her, and the Shaw wheezed a gratitude to them, pointing at a random direction away from the snitch as she muttered into the Chaser's ear. "Snitch, o'... left.." The words came in gasps, her hand attempting to pat her savior's shoulder. She wanted to help her team win this time. Bruised ribs or not, her eyes stayed locked on the Snitch.

When there's you ta look at?

Annie gripped the broom tight, her face pulled back into a frown as a hand reached up just barely out of her grasp and sped off with the quaffle. Damn.. She sped off after him, hearing the cheers from their team encouraging her. Praying for him to miss his shot, she flinched when a booming voice announced 10 points to Gryffindor. They had scored. Oh well, the gane has just begun.. Her eyes darted around the field and saw Julie lock eyes on what appeared to be the snitch before a bludger collided with her. Again Annie flinched but passed by Dawn whom had caught her and gave her a thumbs up. Now a chaser down due to sharing a broom with their seeker she had to step up her game. The cheering of the crowd and her teammates encouraged her as she raced down the field ready to make another attempt at scoring. "Well played lions, but you haven't seen nothing yet," Annie mumbled to herself, the air whishibg past her face, red and yellow robes soaring around the pitch.

[font=Segoe Print]The first few moments of the game flew by in a blur. Rafael had acted on his adrenaline, grabbing the Quaffle faster than he could register. Then, using a quick move he had learned during Quidditch Practice, he skillfully fooled the Hufflepuff Keeper and scored the first points of the game.

He really couldn’t bring himself to enjoy the moment as much as he wished – the game was still going, and his mind was still buzzing, taking in every person on the field with care for details. He had learned in football that if you lost focus for even a second, you could make a major mistake. What he did notice, was that the Hufflepuff seeker had been knocked off her broom. He didn’t think too much of this, though, as someone else had seemed to get to her first.

He flew his broom into position, following the orders he had been given. This time he had gotten lucky, but he didn’t expect to happen again. Reigning in his train of thought and pushing his victory to the back of his mind, he put all his focus on the Quaffle, which had been released onto the field again.

He cracked his neck from one side to the other, and without another thought, got right back to kicking ass.

Damn. Asteria winced twice in rapid succession, the first time a response to the quaffle whizzing past her narrowly grazing her. The second  wince was in response to watching Julie fall. That... had to hurt. She was glad that the other girl had been caught though.  Once she realized that her teammate was safe, her thought returned to her mediocre performance. Internally, she was cursing herself and had inability to focus. C'mon. I can do this. I have too, she thought. Hands clenched tighter around her broomstick, and she glowered out onto the field, daring anyone to try and get something past her again.

She hoped that the crisp air might shock her senses, make her more aware. Part of her had to hand it to the Gryffindor chaser - he did seem to know what he was doing. But even if this were true, that just meant she also had to know what she was doing. Sucking in a gulp of cold winter air, she waited and watched from her end of the stadium, a small broil of emotions toiling inside of her.

The clash of scarlet and gold against yellow and black was present all around the pitch as players battled for control of the Quaffle. Her eyes were riveted on the Snitch scanning the air for it as she spotted Lamik fly around attempting to locate the darn thing. She grinned a little as one of their Chasers managed to earn them some points scoring on the opposing Keeper but that was quickly replaced as she saw the other Seeker hurtling towards something...or rather..she was.

Elena winced rather internally as a Bludger slammed into the poor player and if it wasn't for her team-mates, the Hufflepuff Seeker would have been quite in a lot of pain by now. Lamik was still darting around here and there trying to find the elusive thing. It wasn't as easy as it looked but it had been spotted before so it was around somewhere. "C'mon, buddy, you got this."She muttered watching Lamik silently praying.
