Intrigued, proceeds with caution but curiosity. An acquaintance is formed on family history. [✓] Breakfast with the Reaper | multiple | 28/04/24 @ great hall Sighted drinking tea in the Great Hall. Grim Reaper, tea leaves reading, shock, fear, anguish. Death was on the horizon too soon. Assisted by various helpful strangers, and one familiar figure. In a cruel twist by the Moirais, A [✓] The Fault in our Stars | Anastasia Blackwood-Varney | 07/09/24 @ astronomy tower Archer, seeking for air after not being able to sleep in his suffocating Slytherin dormitory, finds an enigmatic stranger on top the tower and engages in an existential conversation with her about mortality, death, and grief, while trying to comfort each other when emotions grew overwhelming. (Followed by: Memento Mori; Memento Vivere) [ongoing] Memento Mori; Memento Vivere | Matthew Campbell | 07/09/24 @ Great Lake Archer takes his new friend Matthew for a late night swim in the lake after leaving in a state of ecstasy, bonding their forming relationship even closer as, for the first time, Matthew sees a much more wild, much less reserved side of Archer. [event] Gala of Mysteries | none | 19/10/24 @ great hall The first (and probably last) event Archer would ever run, he enjoyed hosting the Gala and was proud of its results, even if he participated little. [duel] Slytherin vs. Ravenclaw: Match 7 | Matthew Campbell, Ernest Baird, Ravenclaw opponents | 27/10/24 @ duelling club Archer and his teammates face off with the Ravenclaw duellists and win with ease. [ongoing] Party for a Purist | Falentra Black | 9/11/24 @ Black Manor Archer, at a pureblood gathering once more by the insistence of his father, meets Falentra Black, recent Hogwarts graduate, who looks after him as their fathers talk, and engage in conversation. [ongoing] With Singed Wings | Marguerite & Atticus Duncan | 24/12/24 @ holiday home & surrounding areas, Lyon Archer, prepared to celebrate his thirteenth birthday, waits for his mother to come with a birthday cake only to see his house on flames from an accident. Led by his father, he races down to the house despite his daze and shock, yet finds himself to be too late as he realises he just lost the person he loved most. [ongoing] Notes from the Passed | Matthew Campbell | 12/01/25 @ rehearsal room Archer, devastated post the loss of his mother, tries to play the piano pieces as his mother had always done, yet finds himself unable to with little training at breaks down. Caught by the attention of Matthew, he, with whom grief is shared, consoles Archer and the two attempt to find solace in music, with promises of lesson from Matthew. [ongoing] Hymns of a Haunted Mind | Meiyu Xiang & Saunders Napiers | 23/01/25 @ library Archer, plagued by his own nightmares, once more leaves his dormitory for air, and finds a broken Meiyu, whom he attempts to console. [ongoing] Death is the Mother of Beauty | Aurelia Valentine | 30/01/25 @ library Archer stumbles upon Aurelia and discovers their shared love for the novel The Secret History by Donna Tartt, sharing an interaction that shines a new light on Archer's overbearing grief. [event] S.N.O.G. | house of Slytherin | 01/02/25 @ Matthew's dorm, Regulus Archer, led by Zeno, stumbles into an event hosted by Matthew. Although unwilling to attend at first, he is persuaded by Matthew as a distraction from his grief. Eventually, he agrees, and drinks the night away before discovering a message planted into Matt's bedpost with a knife. [duel] Hufflepuff vs. Slytherin: Match 4 | Matthew Campbell, Draven Mirador, Hufflepuff opponents | 09/02/25 @ duelling club Archer and his teammates are matched against duellists much older than him. Despite the unfairness, the vipers put up a valiant fight. Archer, being the last one to go down, went down fighting, yet this was an event forever to be engraved in his mind and career. (Followed by: Burned and Bruised Egos) [✓] Burned and Bruised Egos | Draven Mirador & Matthew Campbell | 09/02/25 @ hospital wing Archer, Draven, and Matthew wake up in the hospital wing to pain and negativity after their defeat. Archer, angry at himself and his teammates, immediately starts pointing fingers, ruining everything he had built up in recovery with Matthew, and the friendship they thought they had. (Continued from & followed by: Burned and Bruised Egos & Bad Decisions (which will most certainly have repercussions)) [ongoing] Bad Decisions (which will most certainly have repercussions) | Draven Mirador, Keiran Kith, Matthew Campbell | 09/02/25 @ Draven & Keiran's dorm, Rugulus After their unsuccessful duel and conflict in the hospital wing, the three duellists, along with Keiran, meet up for a drink of contraband alcohol, and although Archer grew closer with Draven and Keiran, it did nothing to revoke the words aimed at Matthew prior. (Continued from: Burned and Bruised Egos) [✓] Down the Drain | Sebastian Drake & Prat Pass | 17/03/25 @ boy's lavatories As an response to his own overwhelming emotions, Archer finds himself cutting his signature long hair in the bathrooms, where he is confronted by Sebs and comforted by Prat. After lashing out against the former, he leaves the scene, conflicted, with his captain. [ongoing] Embers of Spring | Maximilien de Fostoncy | 30/03/25 @ library After not having seen his friend and upperclassmen for months, Archer is approached in the library by Maxi, who gives him his condolences for his mother's death, and his, at least at first, received by negativity rather than relief or warmth. [ongoing] Chaos | Colin McCoire, Matthew Campbell, Prat Pass, Adam Boucher | 01/04/25 @ Colin's dorm, Regulus Archer, drawn to the commotion in Colin's room, alongside Matthew, Prat, and Adam, find the werewolf's possessions in tatters. He attempts to help him repair his things, while trying to figure out who could have done such a thing & connections it might have with a creepy doll and deal with his conflict surrounding Matthew. [ongoing] Petsitters | Atlas Anderson & Sage Willows | April @ courtyard Archer, along with beloved cat Zeno, meets new friends, both human and animal. Unfortunately, the latter two decided it would be amusing to run off. [ongoing] The Garden of Eden | Violeta Roux | 14/04/25 @ grounds As always, Archer proves to be a wallflower in all social events. When approached by Violeta Roux, however, he manages to strike up a conversation with the fellow intellect. [ongoing] Divisive Action | Matthew Campbell | 24/04/25 @ Archer's dorm Archer is greeted by Matthew, the enemy who had broken his trust time after time and finally neither of them tried once more to make up. (WIP) [ongoing] Raise a Glass to Freedom | Hanako Tone Tamaki Suoh & Viridian Vipers | 02/05/25 @ Hana's dorm Archer joins the rest of the Viridian Vipers as they both celebrate (or dread) their upcoming duel and wave goodbye to the duellists leaving next year with graduation. Of course, in Slytherin, there is always a side plot of poisoning that seems to be lying around. [ongoing] Crying Stars | Damien Dragonclaw | May @ Astronomy Tower When relaxing on the Astronomy Tower and abusing his intern privileges, Archer meets fellow astronomy enthusiast, Damien laments of an insomniac, fond farewell, journalistic integrity Dated 01/07/25 ~ 30/06/26 Reducio [solo] Untitled 14| Atticus Duncan | 01/07/25 @ carriage Sighted on a flying carriage on the way to Edinburgh. Argument with his father on absence, his mother, and Atticus' lack of consideration. Breaking point for a relationship once a walking utopia. [✓] Face Card| Prat Pass | summer camp @ Prat's Booth Sighted being painted a personal portrait by the one and only Raphael. First time being anything close to art. [ongoing] Fluttering Plumage| Theophilius Castellano | 02/09/25 @ Slytherin Common Room Thus begins the blind leading the blind. Sighted back to Hogwarts with an unexpected first year. An obvious terrible decision, said youngling had marked Archer as a role model. and owl still alive, at least. [ongoing] Are We Having Fun Yet?| Silas Norwood, Livia Machiavariani, Taliesin Annwyn| 02/09/25 @ Slytherin Common Room Hell yes, Archer was having fun. Sighted, for once, enjoying himself at the start of the school year. New friends, a gaggle of underclassmen, and a ball that who would turn out to be his boss decided to make a bomb. Unparalleled second day back. [ongoing] Totally Safe Explorations| Anastasia Blackwood-Varney | 06/09/25 @ Forbidden Forest Sighted brimming with energy that needed a place to go. Reckless, risk-taking, uncaring of consequences. Ventured deep into spider-infested, all-consuming woods on the edges of campus. Encountered a familiar face of all things. [ongoing] Losing my Mind and My | Blaize Valerian & Pip | 08/09/25 @ Archer's dorm Surprisingly energetic, sighted playing with Zeno until disturbed by fellow feline, Pip. Thus ensued an odd manner to start a relationship, but not a negative one. [ongoing] Bitterer Than Coffee| Ara Villa | Mid-September @ Duelling Club Sighted extremely agitated over athletic competence, which he believes he lacks. Brooding, throbbing, and shedding quiet tears, far too early in the morning. Served with a half-masochistic, half-hopeless grin to go along with it all.
