Werewolf Appreciation Night
Any who found themselves at Stone Cottage in Burford, England the night of the Full Moon, August 9th, 2025, would be greeted by a picturesque scene. Rolling hills of green into the distance, with a variety of healthy livestock grazing peacefully as the sun sets, the barking of a joyful golden retriever seen running in a fenced off yard, and a garden so full of flowers it would look overgrown if not for the care of the placement of colors and heights, pollinators buzzing lazily among the blooms.
It was in no way a place of foreboding one might stereotypically expect from a house filled with werewolves, and was rather a welcoming and cozy place. The front door was propped open, with light and the smell of baked goods spilling out. As you approach, a short woman with shoulder length wavy brown hair waves you in, apron dusted with flour.
"Welcome! Come on in! I'm Rosa, and I'll be keeping watch over everyone tonight, to make sure everything goes well and there's no funny business from any of our human visitors. My wife will be managing all the werewolves, so there's absolutely no reason to be afraid of anything happening. Now then, if you're a full human follow me to the sitting room! If you're one of our werewolf friends, feel free to spend time in the sitting room with us for now, or head straight to the "changing room" as we call it for some privacy. Now then, let's go over some ground rules!"OOC Rules and Expectations
- Anyone can join this thread, but it's appreciated to Owl Tesla Stone or Emily Shephard first to make sure you understand the rules and intention of the thread! If you're too shy to owl, just jump right in.
- There will be no werewolf students attacking non-werewolf students. At all. Under no circumstances. Period. No one will be turned into a werewolf tonight.
- Non-werewolf students are welcome to express themselves as is appropriate for their character- Joy, fear, etc. Just know that In Character if you turn violent, Rosa, a fully trained adult wizard, will remove you. Otherwise, everything is fair game! The intent is positive character growth, which since your character traveled all the way here in the summer, they should have at least some interest in^^
- We will follow post timing rules closer to a mass thread rather than a small group thread: Feel free to post as you feel your character has more to add. There is no need to wait a full 3-7 days for the person who went before you to go. This is to encourage a faster pace so the thread can progress through the plans we have for it before everyone gets burnt out. If you're waiting on one particular person to reply to you, please give them a few days to do so before moving on.
I will do a "moderation" post every week or two depending on pacing, to progress this thread forward. These first posts are for everyone to meet and chat in the sitting room or have their privacy and meet with others if they're a werewolf that goes straight to the "changing room" (which is just a more private side room that Margaret, the adult werewolf, is in). After that, werewolves will all change off-screen when the moon rises, and then come back out and everyone can meet giant fluffy wolf versions of their friends from school! Please reach out if you have any questions.
Tes couldn't believe it was finally happening! A chance for other students to see that werewolves were still themselves with proper access to wolfsbane, and a chance for her fellow werewolves to see that others could still accept them in whatever form they took! She and her mums had spent all day prepping the cottage. Making enough meals and snacks that no human guests or werewolves would be hungry, cleaning guest rooms and couches in case any students were too tired after being up late to make it home safely without resting first, and most importantly, making sure the changing room (pun intended) was ready for more than just two werewolves.Date and Time: August 9th, 2025 Evening
That private room featured its own bed, low to the ground, for cozy naps in wolf form, as well as an array of floor sitting cushions and blankets to keep achy joints off the wood beneath it as one shifted from one form to another. The door had a horizontal handle, so it could be opened from inside by clumsy paws, and there were curtains hung up just for the occasion so any werewolves who needed even more privacy could hide away as they changed. There was a table full of snacks high in proteins and carbs to fuel a hungry human and wolf throughout the night, all of with could be eaten with or without hands. This was where Tes's momma Margaret was putting the finishing touches, dressed in her own comfortable shirt and pants, ready to transform alongside the children.
In the sitting room, where Tes herself was sat in a chair eagerly awaiting her friends and guests, the couches had been pushed into a circle, and all the other chairs from around the house had been brought in. There were also pillows and cushions on the floor, for those who wanted to sit closer to the ground, or for extremely fluffy cuddles later on in the night. The coffee table in this room was also filled with snacks, but included some that benefited more from silverware or hands, like sandwiches and cups for sweet juices and water.
Now all she needed was for the first guests to arrive!

The first signs of sunset that filtered onto the home estate of Tesla and her family was when Emily arrived in England, with a huge bag of extra blankets behind her. It was probably the least she could do, with Tesla taking care of the rest of the arrangements for the night ahead of them. Most of which was out of Emily's hands, being a mere human with no prior experience with werewolves after all. But that didn't stop her nor her pride from being the first to arrive. A bit of a formal obligation, given this was a shared idea between her and Tesla from the beginning, and she already did due diligence with advertising the thing back in the final few weeks of term back in June around the school campus.
The journey to Stone Cottage was no different than Emily's trip to Ely when she caught up with Scout over the last school holiday. A case of taking a flight over and then hoping she stumbled upon something that would help smuggle her over to the Wizarding side of the world. A tedious process, but her fireplace wouldn't be floo-ing her anytime soon. The joys of Mugglemania. Thankfully there were plenty of nooks and crannies that were capable of sending her from one side of the metaphorical world to the other.
Arriving at Stone Cottage with "Auntie" (the designated chauffeuse) beside her after a trek along the fields, with a few bouts of animal admiring on the side, she walked up the steps to the front door with the blankets weighing down on her back. Both were met with a woman standing at the entrance with bits of flour snowed on her. After a few short and pleasant introductions, they were led into the sitting room.
Emily caught sight of Tesla lounging in the room and beamed. "Tes!" But when Emily tried to hurry to greet her, the blankets finally took a toll on her and soon, Emily keeled over until she was flat face first on the floor, the blankets anchoring her down on the ground. Emily squeaked as she tried to stand back up from the weight of the blankets. A saving grace that they were soft!
"Oop-- I guess we packed more blankets than we thought," "Auntie" laughed as she helped lift the blankets off Emily. "There we go, pet".
Emily stood up and stretched her back out. "Phew! That was close... I wouldn't want to die from blankets before snugging some fluffy friends!"
Emily swallowed and looked back at "Auntie" to see her reaction. Still soft and loving as any other day of the week. The Huffie was admittedly nervous telling her what tonight would be about back when they last discussed it together. She thought of all the legitimate hundred and one reasons why "Auntie" might not have let Emily come here but after a long hour talk at the dinner table a few weeks ago, "Auntie" ended up being quite mellow to the idea. So long as she came along to watch over her ward. She knew Emily was capable of a lot of things and independence was one of them, but she wasn't ready to tick off the "Alone with Werewolves" box just yet.
Though Emily had a feeling that would change pretty soon once she'd meet Colin. Emily's body tingled with anticipation. Tonight was the night. The night. The one where she would get to see Colin in all his unadulterated wolf glory. She assured him that his werewolfry wouldn't change their friendship but the only way Emily knew to prove that was to see it with her own eyes. Colin in dog mode.
All in the name of buddy bonding and care of her magical being allies too.
"So!" Emily began to rummage through the bag with other things she had packed in her bag. "I've several blankets for just in case... Extra water... A couple pillows for back-up... And some post-transformation comfort chocolate for anyone that might need it!" Emily waved a handful of candy bars triumphantly as she grinned at Tesla.
"I have a good feeling about tonight. It'll be strange, but a good kind of strange...! And one way or another, tonight will be worth it".
Especially on the notion of what Tesla and Emily were trying to accomplish. And besides... If it meant being able to snuggle a furry friend - one lovable, feisty and infectiously kind friend with birds nest hair - Emily would do anything to be there for it.
"I'll help set up some comfort spots with the blankets...!" Emily volunteered as she went to lift an arm full of blankets.
She began depositing them around the back garden like she was making little picnic spots for the pending guests. In a way, it would be like a giant picnic... One where people can curl up with werewolves under a gentle shower of moonlight.
Emily smiled dreamily. A night with Colin in woofy form was a fantasy she was shy to admit she had. At the same time, it almost felt predictable. Emily was a big animal and creature lover, and nearly everyone who knew her was acutely aware of that fact. It wouldn't have been surprising either way for them if they guessed it.
Not long to go before the moon rises.
And not long before she would see the side of Colin she was eager to see the most.

Harvey's caretaker had dropped him off near Stone Cottage before taking her leave. He took in the scene before making his way towards the door. The rolling hills and farm setting were a bit too rural for his preference, but there was no denying that the property was charming and beautiful. It was a bit of a miracle that he was here in the first place. Harvey's grandfather had been steadfast in denying him. A night with werewolves during transformation? An absolute no from the old goblin, but after many arguments and a bit of help from Burok, his caretaker, he had relented. Harvey was a half-breed and it was important for him to make connections with other half-breeds and magical races as he progressed through life.
That didn't mean that he wasn't a little nervous about it all. Harvey did believe that the innate skills inherited by people like him and werewolves gave them a higher place in the world. Not that they were better than your standard witch or wizard, but naturally gifted. The union of magic and physical traits that was evolving in a way that made for powerful beings. They currently struggled for equal rights and representation, but one day they would sit atop the food chain. However, a werewolf was still a werewolf. The idea of sitting with one while in wolf form was intimidating no matter what you thought about it. Yet the chance to make a connection like this was too good a chance to pass up, not to mention a chance to see such power first hand had him nervous, but excited.
"Hello, thank you for hosting us this evening." Harvey greeted the witch by the name of Rosa as she beckoned him in. "No trouble from me, promise." The boy was not one to break rules and tonight was no different. He made his way into the sitting room and spied the two witches that had offered him the invite at school. "Hi there, Harvey Barrows." He reminded them just in case. "Do you need help with anything?"

Werewolf Appreciation Night

The train ride into Charlbury that day had been rather uneventful. Muggle trains weren't really all that different from wizarding trains. Except for the harsh all alacrity lights that is. The light was a brilliant white and reflected off of everything in really weird ways! Liam chatted with Aoife whilst Colin couldn't help but look around at all the muggle hand boxes! It seemed like every Muggle in the carriage must be deaf because their ears had those ear shouters stuck inside; and how many different colours there were!
Meeting one of Aoife's mates from the Ministry at the train station was a rather unique experience. He said his name was Josh and that he was working under cover in Muggle Relations. Colin and Liam looked at each other and nodded politely. At lunch he explained that he was wearing a polyester blazer and three top hats in order to fit in better whilst he observed Muggles in the wild. Colin and Liam's eyes lit up, however, once Josh said that he'd be dropping the three of them off in Burford in his actual muggle motor car! He even asked the boys if they'd like to drive it!
The delight was apparent on their faces for all of three and half milliseconds!
"COLINLIAMMCCOIRE! Don't think for one minute either of you are going under the wheels of a muggle motor car! Honestly Josh!" She straightened up, her eyes narrowed on the twins. She looked like a (very, very!) much younger Seanmamó! "I don't hold with such mugglery," she finished.
The delight on their faces crashed like a broom racer smacking into a sudden forest.
Even so, the drive from Charlbury to Burford was pretty exciting! Aoife managed to perch herself on the bench seat up front, desperately clinging to anything reasonably solidly bolted down. Liam and Colin peppered Josh with a thousand questions about the workings of the motor car, which he seemed rather delighted to talk about! Ignoring Aoife's protests entirely, the three lads had a grand time as they hurtled along the B4437!
Meadows whizzed by and Josh made a point of demonstrating to Aoife how easy it was to drive the thing without even touching the tiller! If her expression alone could kill, Josh would have died a dozen times along that road! But at last, the car stopped outside the Lamb in Sheep Street, where Aoife would be staying for a few days. Colin and Liam piled out to gawk at how many huge buildings there were in the town! "It's like London!" Colin squeaked.
"I reckon it's not quite so big as London, Cail. Maybe more like Oxford?"
Colin shrugged.
Aoife managed, at last, to pry her fingers off of the dash board of the car. Colin thought that surely the poor motor car felt better for the lack of her death grip! They went into the low tan stone building and hung out with Aoife for a while. The boys really had a good time with Aoife, and it got Colin to thinking. Five years ago, when they started Hogwarts, Aoife would have hardly wanted to be seen with two young children like Colin and Liam. But now, their older sister made much more sense. Colin actually thought she was really cool!
Too soon, it seemed, it was time for the boys to head out. It wasn't far along the road to the house where Tes lived. Once they got out into the evening air, Liam shoved Colin towards the cars parked along the street. "Catch me if you can sucker!" he called over his shoulder. Colin narrowed his eyes. He gave chase! Their long legs pounded along the pavement! Slowly but inexorably Colin began to overtake his twin! He was NOT going to let Liam get away with such truculence! At least, not without a valiant effort at retaliation!
Soon enough, Colin caught a whiff of some familiar scents! "Liam!" he called out.
They were running side be side now! "Got it too, Cail! Her place is real close! There!"
The two boys tore along the last couple hundred feet, their kilts and satchels flapping about as they went! Surely anyone local watching the pair of them would think they were the oddest couple of boys in the entire village! As if they knew exactly where they were going, they rounded the corner and into the gate that led up to the house! The door was open and the familiar scents of Tes and Emily and the welcoming aromas of fresh baked pastries flooded their noses! Of course, there were plenty of unfamiliar scents too, though one Colin felt sure he had sniffed in the common room before. He had no idea who it was. He reckoned the others must have been Tes's folks!
"TESSSSSS!! We're here lassie!!!" Liam called out.
"EMMMMIII!! A ken ye're hame lassie!" Colin called out.
As soon as they were in, Colin looked around the great room to see where Emmi was. And then it struck him! Tes knew about muggle things like eye bureau puffins and baths with hot water! Sure there would plenty of other cool muggle things here too. Colin hoped to explore those a bit --- once his paws turned back into proper hands again anyway!
As one, Colin and Liam gave Tes's folks a bow. "Good evening!" they said at the same time, not forgetting their manners! "I'm Liam I'm Colin! Thanks for inviting us!!"

Rafal is not entirely sure what invisible force propelled him to travel cross-country so that he may be trapped in an enclosed space with an undisclosed number of (but most certainly more than one!) werewolves during the full moon, but he has certainly come too far - quite literally - to reconsider at this point. He reckons it must be some deep psychological flaw deep in his internal being, and it is one which will almost certainly land him in deep, boiling water one day.
Though as he climbs those last few stone steps leading up to the deceptively homey little cottage, the Slytherin wonders if that day has already come. It had certainly seemed like a good idea at the time; the summer holidays were looking to be painfully dull, and Rafal is never one to turn down the opportunity for merriment and knowledge. Those are practically his mantras.
Now; merriment, knowledge, get eaten by a werewolf - that sounds far less appealing. His mom had left him to make his own way to the location outlined in the poster a while back, and truth be told, Rafal wishes she would have opted to stay. It’s all fine, though. As the twelve-year-old likes to say - adventures are always more enjoyable with the imminent threat of becoming dinner.
The woman who greets him at the door certainly seems pleasant enough, though Rafal frankly would have much preferred the adult supervision to not be wearing a flour-dusted apron. Nevertheless, he smiles and nods. "Charmed to be here."
Upon entering the sitting room, Rafal sees that a fair amount of guests have already arrived, though after a thorough inspection, deems that there is sadly nobody he recognizes. The observation is not altogether unexpected, but does nothing to ease his trepidation all the same.
Just gotta wing it. "Uh, hello!" Rafal raises a hand in greeting, voice halting. Addressing the room at large, he tries to look as friendly and assured as possible. "I’m Rafal, lovely to meet you all. I don’t think I really…" his eyes flicker about the occupants rapidly. "… know, like, any of you. So I guess I’d love to do that?" He offers a nervous smile. "So, yeah! Great to be here, this is… gonna be fun."

Emily began peppering blankets across the yard once she was able to balance them all in her arms. A younger kid - Harvey, as he would come to be known as - offered some assistance. Emily smiled and shook her head. "I can manage! Just sit back and enjoy the evening. Get cosy on one of the blankets here or you can wait back inside with the others if you'd prefer".
She cheerfully skipped on as she deposited more blankets around the place. Although as sincerely excited Emily was for the night ahead, she was still masking a great deal of anxiety with her hops, skips and jumps. A lot was riding on this event and not just for Tesla and those like her. Emily set herself up to be the one to bridge the invisible but potent gap between magical creatures and humans. If anything were to go wrong tonight, not only would that have a knock-on effect to all werewolves in the school but her own reputation would undoubtedly take a dive... Emily Shephard, Werewolf Weirdo and Betrayer of Humans... Not a good record to have, especially when the reputation of werewolves was already strained as it is. What a total backfire it would be if they were cast out further... They'd be on a whole different continent at that point if that happened!
Another younger-looking kid arrived and Emily plastered a welcoming grin on her face as she approached him. "Welcome! Tesla's got everyone waiting inside if you want to join the others. Or you can take it easy out here with one of these blankets! Rest assured, we'll all be putting everyone's comfort first, human and wolfies alike!"
Emily flounced away as she planted the last of the blankets along the grass. she looked out at them all, cosily laid out across the landscape. Emily giggled. It was a field of blanket bliss.
"Auntie" came out and joined her. "You coming back inside? I reckon Tesla and her family could do with an extra pair of hands with--"
"EMMMMIII!! A ken ye're hame lassie!"
Both Huffie and guardian turned to see two manes of white heading towards them, one of them bounding faster than the other before eventually tackling Emily to the ground in a ceremonious hug. "Auntie" stood flabbergasted as she watched the wild creature smother her Huffie to the ground with affectionate noogies. Emily squealed and giggled under the grip of her well-known tackler.
"Colin! You came!" She wriggled under him until she was able to throw her arms around him.
"Auntie" still stood there, watching them as she wondered who this strange and wildly boy was and what he was doing snugging her ward to death on the ground. "Pet...?"
"Oh! Colin!" Emily finally got back on her feet as she nudged Colin's arm. "This is Auntie... You know, the lady I told you about before? She's the one that looks after me".
"Auntie" blinked before realisation made her smile. "Ahh, so this is Colin...!"
Not much conversation followed when Colin reunited with Liam to greet Tesla and her folks at the door. "Auntie" leaned in, speaking softly into Emily's ear.
"He's very... Lively. A lot more so than I originally pictured".
Emily beamed. It took meeting Colin to truly realise just how unique he was. "He's a nice boy, though. Very affectionate and friendly".
"A bit like someone else I know..." "Auntie" grinned as she tickled the underside of Emily's chin. "I swear, you and him appear to be as loving and adorable as the most cutest of puppies...!"
Emily laughed shyly. And not just out of the embarrassment of being reminded of how squishy and cuddly she herself was...
"Auntie" would be in for quite the awakening once she'd see she wasn't far from the truth. Except Colin was no puppy. Something far more extraordinary than that. It was a just a matter of biding time before they could both see the fangs and fur.

Colin ruffled Emily's hair affectionately when she hugged him. It was really great to see her away from school! He'd practiced for this day last month with AngelFyre, and he was certain that the night would go well. He'd transformed in front of his best friend, and now he could certainly transform in front of his best girl! Colin was super hyped! Even his usual time of the month difficulties couldn't bring him down, and even Liam came over to greet Emmi.
"Ye sure ye're ready for Caileann in full wolf mode, lassie?" he asked, before bounding away to check out Tes's place.
It took her a moment, but Emily managed to bring Colin's excitement down a notch or twenty. She jabbed his arm. Colin noticed a woman standing nearby. Emily introduced her. So, this is Auntie! "You know, the lady I told you about before? She's the one that looks after me," Emily said. Colin remembered his manners, ran his fingers through his hair to get the twigs out. Well, most of the twigs, anyway. Then he bowed. Colin didn't know how aunties worked in the muggle world, and he'd quite forgotten to ask. "Um. I'm Colin! Is it okay if I call ye Auntie too, or...?"
She smiled. It seemed she would have known who he was without Emily's introduction. Well, she'd've had a fifty-fifty chance if Liam were still close by! The woman turned to Emily, and Colin took that to mean she wanted to talk with her daughter. Niece. Colin shook his head. Kiddo. He gave Emily a quick look. In his heart, he could feel such love for this girl. She not only accepted him, but had taken him on. All of him. He had no words to express what his heart felt when she was around! He took off at a run to find out where Tes had gone off to! There were still so many things he needed to talk with Emmi about! Probably was just as well he didn't bring up the whole baby exchanging in the toilet thing on first meeting!
"TESSSSS!" he cried out when he finally found their host. "It's good to see ye here lass! Thanks for inviting us!" the twins said. The boys slung their arms around the girl between them. "This has got to be a historical day for all werewolves!"

@Too lazy to mention everyone. I hope you are subscribed.
It really wasn't fair, Lillian thought. Her mother spent over ten years hiding magic from her, and now wanted her to be involved in everything?! Lillian had made a mistake telling her parents about the werewolf meet-up. Her father wasn't interested, naturally. But her mother... Her mother made her go. "You will get so much out of this experience... You will understand the mixing of all kinds... I would have gone if one had happened at my time... You'll thank me later..." Blah, blah, blah.
Lillian tried explaining that she didn't know anyone there, that she didn't like werewolves, that she could better use the time reviewing next years textbooks. It made no difference. Lillian was going the hard way or the easy way. So, she reluctantly cooperated. Even though she wouldn't admit it to anyone she was a tiny bit scared. But, Lillian convinced herself that no one would allow this if danger was expected.
They were a little late arriving because they had to use their car. It was a nice car, a silver van, in fact. But, magical transportation was way faster, as far as she knew. And magical transportation didn't have to worry about bad traffic and several red lights. So, Lillian was in a bad mood because of the slow traffic as well.
They got out of the car van and went to the front door. Her mother started talking to the lady at the door, Rosa, although Lillian didn't know, because she wasn't listening to their conversation. But she did catch, "Lillian will behave herself. Won't you Lillian?" She nodded to her mother and almost snorted out of laughter. Anyone who knows Lillian well, would know that she follows rules and behaves herself weather she wants to or not.
Lillian's mother said goodbye to her, and before long they would be together again in an extra cheery voice. Lillian almost barfed. She was not feeling very cheery at all. She didn't say bye to her mother as a clue that she was in a bad mood with her. But, Lillian should pretend to be happy, as not to spoil everyone else's good time.
She went in the house, a little shyly and slowly. Lillian hesitated on the entrance way to the room, taking in all the noise. She saw everyone talking and having a good time. Lillian wouldn't spoil it, so she sat on a blanket in the corner of the room and started trying to read amidst the noise of people talking.
She was reading Ella Enchanted for the first time. She chose it because it was the smallest book she owned and her mother wasn't likely to notice that she snuck a book. It was a pocket book, smaller than normal books. Luckily there was good light here, Lillian thought while reading.
Werewolf Appreciation Night
As the sun began to set, painting the hills outside in a picturesque glow, a gaggle of students gathered in the living room of Stone Cottage. Introductions flowed, some between strangers and some more energetically between friends.Apologies for the delay! I understand this is a long post- the most important part is at the very end there is some bolded dialogue for a prompt from Tes to introduce yourselvesAnyone is still welcome to join on in at any time!
In the "changing room" Margaret continued to get ready for the night ahead, ensuring she was eating before her shift, so she had the energy to manage hangry werewolf teenagers. In the living room, Rosa brought out a fresh tray of cookies, adding them to the heaping pile of snacks on the table.
With @Emily Shephard's help the garden was just as cozy and blanket-filled as the living room, creating the perfect place to enjoy the stars once the sun fully set. Emily's guardian was welcomed to stay as long as she wished, more helping hands were always welcomed around the cottage.
Rosa had kindly declined @Harvey Barrows's offer of help, ushering him into the fray in the living room, just barely resisting a loving ruffle of his hair. She always doted on exceptionally polite children, finding them adorable compared to her usual bundle of energy around the house.
The arrival of the twins was much anticipated, and they were welcomed into the home with a joyous laugh from Rosa, who returned @Colin McCoire's bow with a flourish. Their werewolf scent abilities led them straight to the room where Tes and Emily were, greeting them exuberantly.
@Rafal Devereux's polite entrance was noted and appreciated by all in the household, as he took the time to introduce himself to the crowd of strangers. Rosa made sure to offer him and Harvey some cookies, sensing they weren’t as familiar with the group and wanting the boys to feel more welcome.
@Lillian McMason's entrance was the quietest of them all, the shy girl sequestering herself away. Not wanting to pressure the quiet girl, Rosa made sure to move a small lamp a bit closer to her reading, so she had a better source of light as the sun set.
Sitting herself down on a couch, Rosa gestured for her daughter to join her, marking the official start of introductions. The doors remained open and welcoming for anyone else who may join.
Tes turned from where she'd been setting out pillows, throwing her arms open to welcome Emily into her home—just in time to see the fellow Hufflepuff tumble to the ground in a heap of blankets. She yelped, stepping forward to check on her, but Emily's guardian had already scooped her back onto her feet.Date and Time: August 9th, 2025 Late Evening
She nodded as Emily showed off her spoils, grinning excitedly at the chocolate bars. "You've thought of everything! I’d love some help, Emi! I’ll just finish setting up in here."
The next to arrive was the tiny first-year—now second-year—Tes had met in the hallway. "Harvey! I’m so glad you made it. I think we’re all set for now, but we’ll need help eating some of the snacks," she said with a wink, gesturing at the heaps of food. "Please, help yourself."
She barely had time to finish before the bursts of white-haired energy that were the McCoire twins came flying into the house. They barely gave Tes a shout before redirecting to greet her mum and then tackle Emily unceremoniously to the floor.
Giggling helplessly, Tes turned as another younger student—Rafal, he introduced himself—entered the home. "I’m Tes! It’s amazing to meet you! I’m so glad you came, even if you don’t know anyone yet. Hopefully we can change that soon!"
Colin and Liam finally found her, and she eagerly flung her arms around their shoulders. "Oh man, am I glad you two made it! Here’s to hoping it’s a positive historical day—and not the kind we’ll regret organizing," she said, unable to fully hide her nerves. She was grateful when their last and quietest guest arrived, and her mum directed her to join her on the couch. With the two of them seated, Tes gestured for everyone to join the loose circle of chairs and pillows.
Waiting until things had settled enough for her to be heard, she waved happily, grinning at the group. "Hiya! I’ve met some of you before, but not everyone! My name is Tesla Stone, but you can call me Tes! I’m a fourth-year Hufflepuff at Hogwarts now. This is my home, and this is my mum Rosa. My momma is in the other room, but she’ll be joining us as a wolf soon enough! Speaking of, I’m one of the resident werewolves you’ll be meeting tonight. I was turned when I was nine, so I’ve got a bit of experience—ask away if you’ve got questions!" Finishing her introduction, she looked around the room. "I know some of you, but let’s make sure everyone knows each other. You can share whatever you want, but a name, your school or house, and maybe a fun fact about yourself would be great!"

Werewolf Appreciation Night
Colin sending him a letter wasn't something Keith wanted nor expected, not when it was of something so idiotic he had to re read the letter at least twenty times to believe he'd been sent such a thing. With how new Keith was to his situation now, and how scared he was why would Colin think of even talking to Keith about that?
But the boy made it obvious Keith should go. With the private areas to transform and such he should be fine. Keith eventually started to write his reply to his friend, hesitant but decided this was important for his journey to getting better. And living this new life.
...
Practicing with his aunts and getting sleep some nights helped him a lot, which was good. Cause he desperately needed rest.
Keith packed his bag for the trip to Tesla's place. He was nervous still but now that he was accepting things and knew he would be safe, the anxiety calmed mostly. He packed the essentials- snacks, some blankets, heating pads, pain meds etc etc. After everything was packed his aunt's got the car ready. A two hour or more hour drive, but his aunt's wanted their own vacation anyway.
After they dropped him off he watched the car speed off, knowing not where they'd be staying for the next 3 days Keith shrugged. Inside he went, and saw he was might have arrived late. He waved as a woman greeted him, then went on and found colin. He set his bag down and sighed* "Hey mate- am I late?" he asked before hearing Tesla introduce herself to everyone.
When Keith's turn came he looked at Colin. He swallowed and started to speak.
"Um.. Hi my name is Keith. I'm a fourth year Gryffindor at Hogwarts. I am one of the wolf's you'll meet tonight as well. I was turned just last year." he went to hide behind Colin again when he was done.Wc -327?- mentioning/interacting with m- @Colin McCoire @Tesla Stone
