Don't Disturb The Dang Peace
There's not much to really say. Octavius was going to be unnecessarily.. unfair with his punishment, admittedly leaning into torture a little bit. He might as well try to scare the girl out of doing reckless things that could potentially harm those who were resting in the Hospital Wing. This detention of hers was going to take as long as it needed to take, Elizabeth would be blindfolded and be under the effect of two spells Octavius would probably regret using later. He had in his arms to take with him into the classroom for temporary use.
The girl that he busted would have been told to meet him at the Potions Classroom on the 25th, which was a day after she decided to mess around and create a mess that was unwarranted and unnecessary. Octavius had personally came in there and reserved a singular cauldron in the farthest corner of the classroom, attempting to keep the area tidy and less of a mess to worry about to Professor Samuel-The-Stupid. Octavius was totally not still mad about the stupid young man who tore up his hard work.
He had several ingredients mixed up in mislabeled bottles, a bandana and a seat for himself. He pulled out his wand, and when the girl would come to him, he'd tell her to go stand on the other side of the table. The first spell he cast was the Gluing Spell, on the bandana, and then he told her to put on the blindfold. Next, he would speak the incantation to a rather unknown spell to the girl unless she did research on it, and it was unlikely.
"Mutatio Skullus." He would say, her hair turning into some form of reptilian-like creature, almost akin to that of a snake, her skin becoming increasingly disgusting to look at. He smiled though, knowing that she didn't know how bad she'd look until after this potion brewing was done.
He looked at her and smirked, knowing full well she couldn't see him. "Your detention with me today is simple. You are going to brew a potion. I have laid out all of the ingredients you need to brew this, you will know of it as the Cure for Boils potion. Every ingredient necessary is on the left side of the table besides the cauldron. In front of you is a cauldron, not lit. You will want to do this properly, because otherwise, if you screw up, well, let's just say you won't ever want to show your face ever again."
Almost as if it were off the rails, he let out a little snort of amusement. "Wonderful, we understand each other. I won't be answering questions and if you talk, I will put my mouth removal spell to use."
While she'd be working on the potion, which was destined to fail by the way, given that the ingredients were intentionally shuffled for that purpose, Octavius would begin singing to the tune of a song he put on the gramophone.
As the music began, he began to sing "Night Fever" and bust a few moves.ReducioListen to the ground
There is movement all around
There is something goin' down
And I can feel it
On the waves of the air
There is dancin' out there
If it's somethin' we can share
We can steal it
And that sweet city woman, she moves through the light
Controlling my mind and my soul
When you reach out for me, yeah, and the feelin' is right
Gimme that night fever, night fever
We know how to do it
Gimme that night fever, night fever
We know how to show it
Here I am
Prayin' for this moment to last
Livin' on the music so fine
Borne on the wind, makin' it mine
Night fever, night fever
We know how to do it
Gimme that night fever, night fever
We know how to show it
In the heat of our love, don't need no help for us to make it
Gimme just enough to take us to the mornin'
I got fire in my mind, I get higher in my walkin'
And I'm glowin' in the dark, I give you warnin'
And that sweet city woman, she moves through the light
Controlling my mind and my soul
When you reach out for me, yeah, and the feelin' is right
I get night fever, night fever
We know how to do it (Feel like forever, baby, don't you lose it)
Gimme that night fever, night fever
We know how to show it
Here I am
Prayin' for this moment to last
Livin' on the music so fine
Borne on the wind, makin' it mine
Night fever, night fever
We know how to do it (Feel like forever, baby, don't you lose it)
Gimme that night fever, night fever
We know how to show it (I'll leave you never, baby, don't you know it?)
Gimme that night fever, night fever
We know how to do it (Feel like forever, baby, don't you lose it)
Gimme that night fever, night fever
We know how to show it (I'll leave you never, baby, don't you know it?)
Gimme that night fever, night fever
We know how to do it (Feel like forever)
@Elizabeth Stonewall
- You must brew the Cure for Boil Potion (it is intended that she fails as her face, in addition to the hideous appearance, will break out in boils.)
- You must listen to Octavius's horrid, off tune singing to the song "Night Fever" by Bee Gees.
- You are to remain blindfolded, the gluing spell is put on the blindfold. She cannot see anything.
- 400 words minimum detention post OOC. Just have fun.
- You cannot OOC join or start new threads until this detention post is done.

Don't Disturb The Dang Peace
He stared at the weird girl. What was.. with her? Why couldn't she just be like a normal child and whine and cry about getting a detention at bedtime?
Why must she be as ignorant as his gremlin child? He stopped singing, instead now storming over to her just to slam his palms on the table with a loud, ringing, slapping noise. He needed to be a little tougher right? But he didn't want to. Pretending to be tough absolutely sucked and kind of felt very demoralizing to him.
He sighed. "It's not hot chocolate." The slamming into the table was unnecessary if the girl was going to voluntarily drink something that made her even more hideous. And at this point, Octavius was not even sure if she had even learned her lesson or even the tiniest sliver of it.
Whatever. It didn't matter. If he saw the girl again and had to give her detention, he'd probably do something a little more serious and maybe establish a petition to get her expelled from Hogwarts and get the wand snapped in half. A fate that many likely wished his son had.
"Fine. Drink it. When you drink it, do not look in the mirror until tommorow morning. Make me this promise. You will be allowed to take off the blindfold afterwards, but I am going to be a bit rigid about this, do not pull a medusa and admire yourself in the reflective surface that we call a mirror. Go to bed when you drink this, and I will see you in the morning. You can cry and whine and whatever to me tommorow morning. I can't guarentee that I will give a rat's ass but it is what it is. Now, drink it, and good night." Octavius was no longer going to interfere, the detention ending once she drank that screwed up potion.
