Reducio His older brother is Oliver's best friend, They do everything together. At least when Aaron is home from school to do it. Ollie looks up to Aaron like no one else in the world exists. He was there for his first magic too. When Oliver was about seven years old. They had been playing around in the house, running despite there mother telling them not to. They had been playing tag, chasing each other around all over the house. Oliver had just tagged Aaron, and had the bright idea to make his escape down the stairs. He was so focused on the fun him and his brother were having. That he slipped, and fell down the stairs. Only, it wasn’t so much a fall, rather than bouncing. Like he had thrown a rubber ball down the stairs. Even if Oliver was not made of rubber, did not turn himself into rubber, he just merely bounced down the stairs, landing unharmed and confused. When Aaron ran after him (It was clear he did not learn from his brother's mistakes), he saw Ollie unharmed. And knew what that meant exactly. Oliver was a wizard, and would get his letter. Another wizard to the Armani family. His parents were quite happy too, there was a great celebration. As there was when Aaron had his first magic. With lots of food, mostly of Oliver’s favorites. And dancing, lots of smiles. It is very much a core memory for the boy. When he got his Hogwarts letter, his parent’s framed it, and put it on the wall with every other letter the Armani family had gotten. Right next to his brothers. They like to think it’s a good luck omen for no Squibs in the family. As that would be the most disgraceful thing. That or not being in the illustrious Gryffindor house.
Reducio Oliver was born on halloween, bright and early in the morning. To his parents Desmond Armani and Martha Armani. He has an older brother, named Aaron whom he is very, very close with. Later on he got two younger sisters, named Alice and Heather, as well as a younger brother named Zachary. His family is very rich and influential. Both his parents have important (so they claim) mistry jobs. His mother being an Accidental Magic Reversal Squad Member, and his father a Lawyer. Oliver grew up in a large house on the outskirts of Hogsmeade, with his family. As well as a pesky ghost of his great, great, great grandfather. He and his siblings grew up somewhat spoiled, mostly ignorant. As they had everything they could ever want, they wanted a new toy? Done. they didn’t like what was served for supper? We can make something else, no worries. They doesn't really hear no often. As a child he was (like most pureblood children are) home taught all of the basics, like math, english and what not. He was also taught how to play piano, as his mother and father felt that it would be a nice skill to have. Even though Oliver didn’t like the lessons, he would have much rather been playing in the wood behind their home, he did them. And got, well as good as one can get when they don’t want to do them. He knew a few songs; would mess up a note from time to time. Nothing too good or too bad. Every so often he will play when his family has a ball. The Armani family hosts a summer ball every year. As a celebration for another year at Hogwarts. Both his parents went to school there, in the Gryffindor house. Where they met and fell in love, as they both were on the dueling team as partners. Gryffindor was the only house deemed suitable for an Armani. His grandparents were there too, and his great grandparents, as well as his older brother Aaron. The house of the brave, Armani’s were not cowards. His father told him that often. He grew up happy, and away from muggles. That's why they lived so close to Hogsmead. As none of the family could really tolerate them. They weren’t super hateful of Muggles, they just looked down on them. Without doing magic, the same went for muggle borns. They all thought their magic was weaker than purebloods. And the same was said about half breeds. They looked down on really anyone that wasn’t pureblood. |

Reducio The hanging of the letters. [/quote]Each Hogwarts acceptation letter that one gets will be hung up on the wall. A reminder that they are pure, that they are welcome, and it is rumored that it 'wards' off having any squibs in the family. So far, it has worked well.

year one ~ Part Veela (1/8th) [520]ReducioTo the Crestmont's, looks were everything. Mannerisms, fashion, how one talked. It was all held very dear to them. As Heaven forbid that one of there own namesake and blood was found 'sloppy' with a slouched back, dressed lax. They needed to be prepared to dance at a ball at a moment's notice, or at least look that way. They needed to play happy photo perfect family in the public eye. Needed everyone to believe they were perfect. Down to everything. The Crestmont's had to be the center of attention at all costs.
So of course, selective breeding ensued to make them look best the could. Marriages were arranged with the children of the house that had been deemed most beautiful and arranged with 'most beautiful' of there graduating class. To ensure that everyone looked right out of a muggle magazine. Blood status didn't matter at all to them, so long as they were pretty. Blood status had no part in what made someone pretty, that was at least until,-
A great discovery had been found with Sunday's grandfather. He was half Veela. Everyone had eyes for him, her mother would tell her stories that her grandmother had spoken off. On one of the rare occasions her mother spoke to her, and acted like a mother. "Your grandmother would tell me when I was your age how everywhere they went, all eyes would be on your grandfather." Sunday had never meat her Grandmother, or Grandfather. But she could see the features in her mother's appearance. The white hair, and the allure she seamed to have. "Mother," Sunday was only allowed to call them mother and father. "Does that make you part Veela?" Her young inquisitive voice would ask.
Her mother would chuckle, a rare sound indeed. Sunday had started to think that her mother and father could have no joy. "Why of course, It makes me 1/4 veela." She poked Sunday on the nose. "And you, Sunday, you are 1/8th veela." Her young star filled eyes seamed to twinkle and shine with this newfound information. She should have known this of course, her white hair, and she guessed she was pretty. She had never noticed things like that prior to this. Having no one to compare to, it was all just how she looked. Her mother of course had the white hair to. Sunday had always assumed that she was just very old.
She had jumped from her mother's lap, and rushed off to her mom and mama. A stupid ear to ear grin filled her face. She had to run outside onto the grounds of the manor, finding her mom's on one of the swing chairs in the garden. She climbed into it, fitting herself right between them. "I'm one fourth veela!" She had proudly told them, though of course. They had already known that. Mama ruffled her hair, and smiled down at her. "That's great Sunday." Sunday beamed at her nannies, of course it was great. How could it not be? This was the coolest thing that had happened to her in the history of ever.
Year Two ~ Keen eye [502]ReducioIt started out simply enough, Someone would get annoyed and or tired with Sunday's constant pestering. And they would try to get her to burn off some of this energy, while also giving them a breather. As in all honesty, the girl was- well -the girl was a lot to deal with at six in the morning with her boundless energy, and constant questions. Of course, Sunday being Sunday, didn't notice this for what it was. And thought of it more as a game.
The rules were simple, Someone (often times her dukun Theo) would ask challenge Sunday with finding something they had 'lost'. The albeit naïve, but kind hearted girl, would jump at the chance to help out in any way she could. So she would 'lock in' and be uncharacteristically quiet for herself, and she would simply search. She would look around getting on her hands and knees to look in the smallest cracks. Even if logically the item would in no way fit there. Stretching out onto her tippy toes to look at the top of cupboards.
This backfired horribly on the other party. As it turned out, Sunday was very good at finding lost things. Theo would ask her to find a pen he had lost, and she would salute him with that stupid, hard to hate grin on her face, and cheerfully declare that she could find it 'lickety-split'. And would dart off before any questions could be asked about her wording. Then return, and they wouldn't be able to deny it. She returned lickety-split. With the lost pen, missing notebook, the pet that had wondered off. Whatever they had tasked her with.
The more people asked, the more they had realized, that yes while annoying at times, She was really good at this. And she just got better with every thing that had been lost. Some people even just went up to her, not trying to get rid of her, just needing her so called eagle eyes. And she would just grin at them. And tell them, not to worry. As Sunday was the best lost thing finder ever. They of course had there doubts, but she returned soon. Lost item in hand. Thus her reputation followed.
Lucky her, this translated well into her quidditch skills. As she would mount her broom in some solo practice, release that golden ball, close her eyes for a second. And then she would open them, quiet, still, and not like herself. Until she would see that small reflection of light and dart to it. Landing softly, the ball held tightly in her grip, Smile painting over her lips. Having gotten the ball, sure it was just herself and the field, but she was sure that it couldn't be that different in a real game. It was such a simply task really. And she was thrilled when people asked her to find things, as clearly they wanted to help her in her quidditch endeavors. What other reason would they have?
