"General Error" Moving Between Forums
Hello!
I've been having this problem recently where I see this 'general error' screen when I am moving from one forum to the next -- it's not a super big deal and doesn't happen all the time, and when it does, it usually goes away if I press the back button or reload the page. I'm not sure if this is simply a device thing, as my device is pretty old and does have quite a few issues loading things, however RPG sites usually works fine. I've only noticed this happening with Hio very recently and i'm not sure if others are experiencing the same issue.

The same thing has also been happening to me when I move forums and try to switch to my iNPC’s account.

This is due to a server issue. The site has had a lot of refreshing to reload the site in the last, roughly 24 hours, which is what is causing these issues.

andGood evening everyone, as you may have noticed, the site is currently under a massive attack from bots, probably used to feed AI. Currently, the site is receiving more than 15,000 requests per minute, compared to 200 to 300 during normal peak hours. Naturally, this is overwhelming our poor server, which is not designed for this.
I am currently deploying a protection system that will rely on an external service provider. Unfortunately, this may take several hours to propagate, and I am not sure I can tell you exactly when the situation will return to normal (probably tomorrow).
The site will soon be protected by an external service provider (Cloudflare), which will enable us to combat bots and denial-of-service attacks. Unfortunately, this may take several hours or even days for the changes to propagate to the domain name. In the meantime, please be patient, as the site may be slow depending on the intensity of the attacks (the site received more connections in 48 hours than it usually does in 6 months!).
I will keep you informed when this is in place.
