The Masquerade Ball
What a feast! The flavors, the colors, the sugar. The young king didn’t question his right to his crown. He had earlier, distressed and depraved, it had seemed as if he would have to watch as all he was owed slipped through his fingers, like sugar not yet refined into a beautiful confection. But this feast had changed things. He was King, no question. He fueled his crown with every chomp, lick, nibble, letting his lust point his tongue wherever it would be rewarded.
The first flavor was that of the thin licorice rope hanging from a ginger-giant’s face. His greedy hands and mouth consumed as much as it could, he could taste the power, he could feel his crown pulse on his head. The points of his crown must have been extending upwards and outwards, the weight grew just like his need for more. Galton the Glorious cackled, candy hair stuck upon his lordly cheeks.
The crowds’ cheers gave him more and more energy as he bounded about. They went wild when he got a taste of a delectable eye. Yum! Cherry and cinnamon twirled on his tongue. Flavors interlocking like nothing he’d ever tasted before. He was caught in this ginger-girl’s spell, so much so it took a hard landing to break it.
Where... How was he here? He looked up, the ginger boys and girls staring back at him. Meters away now. And his whole body hurt. It ached. His head stung- yet felt lighter. Had the painting been right? Was this a trap for the King? Usurpers lay in wait for the freshly crowned king. Too impatient to even let the boy have a taste of the sweet life. He wouldn’t let them take this from him. He wouldn’t let them take HIS crown.
Galton placed his hands on his head, they patted the sticky black hair frantically. The crown was no longer upon his head. Horror. He looked below to find a table covered in fragments of his destiny. His rule was, quite literally, shattered. The lad’s mind tensed, eyes narrowing, mouth beginning to tremble open. Rage. They would pay.
“MY CROWN! MYYYY!” A sob escaped his mouth, single tears streaming from both eyes. “HOW COULD YOU! THIS IS - WA- NO IS - MINE. HOW DARE YOU TOUCH ME, YOU SUGARY FILTH. I BLESS THEE WITH CONSUMPTION - ALLOW YOU TO JOIN OUR EMPIRE AND YOU GIVE ME THIS?!” The anger grew with every syllable, his mind had gone red, no thinking was needed.
“WHY! ANSWER YOUR KING YOU BARF FLAVORED BEANS” The cried were equal part anger and sorrow.
The boy sprinted to the candy person pointing a candy wand. It had to be her. She was the one. But they’d all pay. He’d strip them of sugar and reclaim his crown. As he ran he clutched his hair, trying to ring it of any sugar. He’d need all the juice he could get. “I’LL DAB ON OVER YOUR FROSTING STRIPPED COOKIE CORPSE!” Galton screamed, no truer battle cry had blessed these holy lands before, surely.
He licked his slick hand, sucking the sweat sweet remnants away. He’d decided: her frosting made lips that smiled at him would vanish. They were his.

He could see another wand. Some heathen, chocolate plated, abomination was trying to question Galton’s sugar supremacy. He’d make her pay. He’d rip that black licorice wand from her hands.Action 1: Bite/lick @Saskia Nicholson's lips
A glint of Golden lollipop caught Galton’s eye. How perfect a confection could be. In these trying times nothing warmed a kid like his favorite candy from home. Galton was beyond needing to be warmed, but the sentiment drove him forward. Why not steal the candy. Keep it for himself, it was his right as king. All was his before him.Action 2: Slobber on and bite @Katrina Walker's wand hand and or wand

Serena managed to pull the sleeping student a little. She was edging closer to the door. They were so close to freedom that she could almost taste it. But the taste was bittersweet as the student stirred awake and... screamed at her? The Hufflepuff blinked, letting go off the other student quickly and taking a step back. She had no idea what this person's name was but they called her Deathmote, asked if she was mad and asked for an introduction all in the same breath.
The Hufflepuff just looked at this student [JAY] horribly confused by the whole thing. She was here, trying to save them from whatever was going on around them and yet she was being blamed and screamed at? Insulted was one word for how she felt but another was confusion. She was honestly so baffled by the whole thing that she just blinked at them for a few moments, unable to say anything. "Ugh, I don't have time for this crap," She abruptly muttered to herself as she snapped out of it, "If you can walk, get the hell out of here." She instructed the other student who she clearly thought was incapable of making the sensible decision themselves.
Turning quickly to face the door, Serena made a run for the door, trying to escape out of this mess. Well, at least, that was her intention. She was about to get herself out of there when she spotted a familiar looking face. The other Serena. She wanted to run away from all of this, be unwilling to help anyone but herself but she could not. A part of her heart twisted in pain as she recalled the only memory she had of Davies - her crying face as she buried herself into a hug. "God dammit," She cursed to herself, annoyed at her own inability not to just leave people. If there was one thing she should have learned from the other student, it was that saving people was not always a good thing. But Serena could not just leave her namesake. Perhaps it was because they shared the same name. Perhaps it was because of the shared house. It could have been the campout. But something stopped her from running out of the door. She refused to let the younger Serena face the same thing she had done.
Lear had saved Serena in that campout, alongside Reid. They were both here, right? Serena quickly looked around, trying to spot them in this mess. Why was Lear not helping again? Her eyes hit the scene of the students, fighting around her. Hugh was easy to spot. His rather large height helped with that. He carried someone - well, until he was physically jumped and dropped her. Serena's eyes widened as her eyes fell onto the face of the figure he had dropped.
Dymphna's body laying on the ground not too far away from the rather large students and the fight around. Blood had stained through her clothing. Serena's eyes shot from Dymphna back to the other Serena. There were two of them. Two of her friends, laying there, unable to room. Davies seemed to be in a better condition, but could easily have an internal injury.
Serena could not leave. She wanted to. More than anything, she wanted to run away. But how could she leave when her friends needed her. She knew better than most how it felt to feel completely alone, unable to fight, fading away into the darkness and wanting nothing but someone to help you. She steadied her shaking hand as best as she could, clenching her wand tightly in her hand and rushed forward towards Dymphna. She had no idea if she had chosen right. If Davies had an internal wound, she might be more trouble than she looked like. But the noticeable blood on Dymphna made Serena desperate. Blood spelled more danger to the thirteen year old, who had limited medical knowledge, "Dymphna!" She called out, as she rushed towards her, hoping her voice would stir the girl awake in a desperate attempt. It probably would not but perhaps it was loud enough to catch a helper's attention. Because they desperately needed help. "No... no... Come on... Dymphna... No.. please... Sh-" She whispered under her breathe as she saw the girl's limb body, her eyes started to water.
She was not strong. Her attempt at pulling the other student out made it painfully clear that Serena was not strong. Dragging the injured Dymphna by the hands, allowing her to scrap on the floor seemed like a really bad idea. She had to give Hugh the best opportunity she could to escape with Dymphna, distracting his attacker long enough to do so. Well... that was the plan but Hugh's very loud voice drew her attention to the fact that he was not doing that. He was rather busy trying to chase down his attacker. The Hufflepuff Quidditch captain was there too, apparently in the same fight. If they were going down, they'll go down together. The Hufflepuff way.
The same attacker that seemed hard to keep down. Serena shot a look at Dymphna and back at Hugh. She had to do this. If she could stop the offender [GALTON], Hugh could return to carrying Dymphna out of this mess. She had to distract him long enough for someone, anyone, to get her out of there. Stepping in front of Dymphna's body, Serena moved towards the fight with any further hesitation, her wand raised despite the fact that her heart was pounding so loud that all she could hear was the pounding sound echoing in her ears, "FLIPENDO!" She screamed, as she waved her wand in front of her, focusing entirely on their attacker. She did not want to hurt him but... She really did not want any of her friends to get hurt.

Adrenaline coursed through her veins as she completed the spell. Would the spell even work? Would it hit the boy? She was quite far away from him, and there was still a lot of chaos happening. What if she accidentally hit someone else instead? That would have been bad. She didn't want to create even more of a disaster as things already were. She had to make the spell work. Even if it didn't completely knock the boy out, it would have provided enough of a distraction and buy more people time to either get out the ballroom unharmed or try to contain him.
It seemed that she was the only one who managed to take him down. Her spell knocked the boy back, leaving him to crash against the tables. But just as she expected, it wasn't enough to put him down once and for all. She could still see the boy slightly stirring, and given enough time, he would have been back on his feet and ready to munch on more people. Fortunately, he was much weaker thanks to her spell, and one more hit might have been enough to subdue him. It also seemed like many other people were stepping up to stop the boy too. At this rate, he'd be down for good.
From the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of the last giant. She saw a boy who she once again recognized as the Slytherin Quidditch Captain, but this time, he was kneeling over the fallen giant. Nausea crept over her as she noticed the shoe wedged in the giant's eye. It was unnatural looking. Something that was so abnormal, it was hard to acknowledge that this was all real. It all seemed like a nightmare, but even Saskia could feel that this was really happening. She would have never imagined she'd see a dead body, here of all places. How could this have happened? Why did it happen? Would she ever know, or was this another mysterious incident that would come to pass like all the other ones in the past?
Looking away from the scene, she forced herself to focus on the other situation that was going on. Thankfully, it was a less brutal one than what she had just witnessed. The crazy "Candy King" was still a threat and he had to be dealt with, although hopefully, they wouldn't have to go through extreme measures as they had done with the giant. But before she could do anything else, she heard someone yell out her name. Her heart hammered in her chest. Was Lamik in trouble? Why was he calling her specifically? It was only when he told her to bring Jake into the common room that she frowned to herself. She was aware it was sensible to have her take Jake to the Hufflepuff common room, and she could see the logic behind what he said. But even that made her slightly annoyed. She didn't want to leave everyone else in danger. They might have been able to defend themselves, but it wasn't right for her to leave when she was already trying to help out. It wasn't that she didn't want to leave Jake, and she knew how easily scared he was, but she also had a job to do. And she was going to finish it.
"I'M KIND OF IN THE MIDDLE OF SOMETHING! JUST TAKE HIM SOMEWHERE SAFE!" She yelled back loud enough, hoping that he could hear her as well. It might have sounded irresponsible. Of course she wanted to make sure Jake wouldn't be hurt, and she wouldn't have forgiven herself if something did happen to him. But she trusted that Lamik or someone else could have taken care of him. At least until the "Candy King" would no longer harm anyone else.
Then another scream came from a different direction. Maybe scream wasn't the right word to describe it, though. It was the crazy kid again, talking even more nonsense. There was seriously something wrong with that kid's head. Was he cursed or something? It wouldn't have been a surprise if he was. No sane person would have ever done what he did. The boy continued to scream and cry out, but then Saskia realized- the boy was coming for her next. He was making a mad sprint towards her, yelling even more nonsensical things her way. It was only a matter of time before he did something again. Biting, licking, or whatever he did anyway. But she wasn't about to let him do that. She would fight back.
Once the boy came close enough, she would try to push the boy back, tackling him on the ground. Of course, if she simply pushed him down, he would have still been inclined to bite her, which was why she would instead turn him around and pin his arms above his head by the time he was on the ground. Even if it didn't work, at least she would have tried to defend herself. She wouldn't let some weird kid bite her without putting up a fight.

Illowy gave a nod to the lad's agreeable order, passing her gaze about the ballroom to find a target for their first evacuation. Chris's eye seemed quicker then her's as he turned her attention to a girl laid out on the floor. Close on his heels to get to the girl, though she was careful not to let her sights fall to the fallen half-giant. She needed to get herself back into a clear head space. She needed to think clearly through all of this carnage. There would be time later to dwell and falter over these images she was sure would be burned into her mind for a long time.Interations: @Christopher Madson, @Serena Davies, @Galton Lansdale
Meantions:
As Chris reached the girl, Illowy wasn't far behind, readjusting the skirt of her dress to keep her feet cleared from getting tangled in it as she crouched over the other side of the girl; not that she knew the girl or could place her face, but she was quick to agree to get her out quickly. Thankfully, it didn't seem like the girl was hurt, hopefully just passed out. Illowy could only pray the poor child had done so before the frightening, bloody events could be witnessed. Shoving her wand safely back into the pocket of her dress, Illowy gingerly helped Chris get one of the girl's arm's over his shoulder before taking the other and pulling it around her own shoulders, "Ready." she spoke, shifting to help Chris raise the dead weight from the floor.
Before she could even get all the way to her feet, however, Illowy felt something... no, someone, suddenly clawing and biting at her arm and wrist, desperately trying to pry the bracelet from her arm. With the shock and suddenness of it all, Illowy cried out, loosing her balance, as well as her hold on the poor girl, and falling back on her bum a, "What the bloody hell are you doing?" she growled, "Get off!" the snake tried ripping her arm away from the insane boy while simultaneously trying to knock him back with her knee.
Blast this cursed dress that tangled up around her feet and kept her from properly kicking him full force with her shoe.

Dan delighted in the muffled screams of the half giant. His suffering was GLORIOUS.
Should he go for the other eye?
Yes. He should.
But as he reached for the shoe to pull it out, and saw an odd green flash out of the corner of his eye, the giant stopped moving, and stopped making sound.
No. Noooononono. Wake up ye bastard! How'm I supposed to make ye scream in horrible agonizing pain if yer dead?!
Something wasn't right. There was no way in hell that killed him. If it did, he wouldn't have kept struggling or screaming. Dan wasn't even sure he was strong enough to drive the heel in that deep. No, something was VERY wrong here.
Then, he felt a hand on his shoulder, and someone who Dan could just feel the sleaze oozing off of spoke to him.
It didn't take long for Dan to put two and two together. Headmaster Yaoi Hands over here cast something, and soon after, the giant died. And seemed to be going out of his way to make sure everyone was looking....
Yeah, Dan knew a setup when he saw one. He'd made them himself, more than once. Granted, not on a scale like this; the setups he'd made were more about who had swiped the teacher's car keys, or put superglue on the toilet seat RIGHT as the headmaster was going in. That had been a fun day.
Dan needed to get away from this creeper before he could implicate him further. And, he knew just the way to do it. A kid's ultimate weapon against an adult.
He tore away from the headmaster's hand.
"Get offa me ya weirdo!! I don't know you! You wanna see my what?! STRANGER DANGER!!"
Dan was dimly aware of something else going on. Some weird little gremlin child was screeching long strings of nonsense, and... was he trying to eat people? It certainly looked like it.
That was something else that was off... First giants attack the students, in a way that bore no subtlety at ALL, a headmaster kills one, and tries to implicate an innocent little Irish boy, and then there's this shrieking freak of a boy running about attempting to eat people. Something was up, but since the giants were both dead, this was the only person who could possibly answer what was going on.
If Saskia's pin is successful, Dan would see this as the perfect opportunity to both get answers, and to get farther away from the touchy-feely headmaster. He would dash at Galton, and grab his ankles in a headlock.
Dan had to be careful not to hurt him further, as it didn't look like he was gonna handle much more damage. Plenty of energy though. Definitely something going on about him. Either drugs, or a curse, or both.
Thankfully, Dan knew an interrogation technique that exhausted the victim, and brought unbearable torture to them, without hurting them in the least. He would know, as it was used on him by his friends back in Dingle quite often.
Dan would then tear Galton's shoes off, followed by his socks. Now, he would follow standard interrogation procedure. Ask a question, the most pertinent one first:
"What the hell do ye think yer doin', ya shriekin' rabid monkey?! Whatcha eatin at people fer?!"
He would then proceed to spider the fingers of his right hand all over Galton's exposed soles in a well practiced motion. If this worked, the little gremlin would be spilling his guts in no time. If he was half as ticklish as Dan was, he'd answer any question Dan wanted, just to make it stop.
If Saskia's pin is unsuccessful, Dan would start moving away from Headmaster Grabby Hands as quickly as he could move without sprinting. He would then turn, wave his wand in the appropriate motion, and cast a spell on the gremlin child to ensure that he couldn't attack Saskia any further than he already was.
"Rictusempra!"
He had to keep away from the very-friendly-to-children Headmaster. Not just because he was not about to be falsely implicated for murder, but also because he did not fancy being led anywhere alone with him. He'd already had a kidnapping attempt under his belt, he was not about to go through that again. Not if he could help it.
Should he go for the other eye?
Yes. He should.

The Masquerade Ball

With the ensuing chaos that was continually erupting into an even more disastrous event. The young boy Alan stood motionless as all bits of anxiety latched onto him causing the Ravenclaw to freeze in his place, watching his friend Griseldis attempts to handle her assailant. The moment the Galton grabbed onto his best friend, however a spark lit up in the boy's mind, telling himself as he muttered repeatedly "I can't keep standing here, She needs help" with consistent rhythm and with his wand drawn Alan has had enough of playing the coward as the Chaos was not just affecting him. In that instant seeing the Giant's fat pink tongue swirling out to lick his friend, with the wand at the ready Alan darted forward with the intention to confront Galton. Doing his best to avoid things in-between he eventually reached his friend as he attempted to aim his wand directly into Galtons face as he chanted in a shrilled angry voice as he squeaked a moment "Oi! better let go otherwise I hope you enjoy seeing green!" With that, he aggressively spoke the incantation "Verdimillious!" With that, if successful green sparks emitted from his wand as Alan was directly in front of Galton as he said once more in front of him "Can't-miss at this range!" With nowhere else the go Alan would be considered vulnerable after having performed his spell

The big guy (Hugh) was in a rage. It was even more terrifying than his grandmother when he uses her "good scissors." He was going to kill Galton. Jürgen had tried to restrain Galton, but he was too fast and too wiggly, his movements too erratic and unpredictable. Some of the students were leaving, avoiding Galton's madness but there were a few that were staying (and therefore assailed) while others were reacting with greater violence. They just might murder Galton by mistake. Jürgen's stomach sank at the thought. Galton was mad as a March hare, but he was not a bad person he did not think. He was a good guy, a bit weird but the good kind of weird.
Jürgen, still crispy from being set on fire would scan the remaining students and consider his options. He did not have much time, whatever he did it was going to be done in haste.
Take down Galton -- it would just make it easier for the rest of the students to dog pile the fellow Gryffindor.
Take down everyone else -- one to overestimate his abilities (just a bit) he quickly concluded that would just leave Galton's reign of madness and terror unchecked. Galton was still out of his mind, but he also looked powerful enough to maybe take on a dry paper bag. Any one of these girls could probably take him down if he was being completely honest. Well, any of these girls could probably take him down too but he would sorta enjoy it. Nope, no time to think about that!
Take down the big guy -- yeah, he was looking at Hugh in his berserker rage. The pair of part giants that started this whole mess (and set him on fire) might not have been working alone. In fact, they probably were not. Was Hugh with them? It was so dark in the ballroom when the fires started and a smoke screen stole his sight, as well as the minor distraction that was being set ablaze... he would never have seen or known that Hugh Lowe was partially responsible for breaking down the door. Even if he was not bad, he was dangerous.
He let out a breath, this was an incredible mistake. He just knew it. "STOP IT BIG GUY!" He forgot the former Prefects name. "YOU'LL KILL HIM!"
He knew words were not going to be enough, so armed with his incredible strength (4), he was going to rush Hugh Lowe and try to grapple a part-giant. If successful, the Gryffindor idiot would mutter the same things over and over again. "Chill man... Chill... You're gonna be fine. Everything is fine. Don't hurt nobody." His voice pleading. [Feel free to insert similar, really doubt I am going to be successful.] If he failed, well... from wherever Hugh Lowe flung him, he would just shout "Merlin!" and cringe as he saw the (likely) bloody aftermath.
Jürgen, still crispy from being set on fire would scan the remaining students and consider his options. He did not have much time, whatever he did it was going to be done in haste.

Action: Grapple and subdue Hugh Lowe, preferably before he kills Galton.

The Masquerade Ball
Despite everything going around her, Serena was still out like a lamp. (Dream sequence) She danced with the girl in her dream for a while until the music suddenly stopped and she looked around, seeing only them there. Her legs suddenly started to feel weak and she started to feel dizzy. The girl suddenly said to her, "Run." For some reason Serena did turn around to run, and all she saw was flames engulfing the forest she was in. She turned around to try to grab the girl and run away with her, but she was gone. Suddenly her left leg collapsed under her, and she began to snap out of her dream.
Serena started to raise her head, slowly looking to her right to see a boy holding her by her arm, kneeling on the ground. She started to try to stand up, but her legs buckled out of under her, dropping her back down, leaning onto the boy that was holding her. Her ears were just ringing, she could hardly hear the shouting behind her. "Mommy?!" she called out like a little child. She was clearly disoriented and terrified. She started to look back behind her to see what was going on back there, and if she was successful she would see the horror that was behind her: the dead giants, the fighting children, the aftermath of the fire. So lets hope someone stops her from seeing that.

They needed help. Ruthie and Thora needed help. Thora was much too scared to even call out--no, the snek was not the arrogant type that was too proud to call for help. No, nothing like that. She was afraid to even yell as surely she would draw unwanted attention to herself by doing so. To be exact, the unwanted attention of the crazed, candy-cursed boy. Already enough had happened to the traumatized 12-year-old, and Thora wasn't sure whether she could take any more. And finally, their savior arrived in the form of a brown-haired boy. Thora had never seen him before and therefore assumed he was a third year, presumably named Adam. The girl had quickly learned that this was no time for introductions, and although she would originally be suspicious, Ruthie seemed to know him. With all the war raging around them, that was enough for Thora.
As Adam lifted Jorah easily off the ground and ran out of the room, Thora followed. Jorah needed help and although she was sure Ruthie and Adam, along with the magical help that would be found wherever they took him, would be more than capable, Thora needed an escape. She needed to get out of here. She could only imagine the hallucinations and nightmares that would plague her for the following weeks--and probably for the rest of her life--as she could already see the images of bloodied bodies and licking flames burned into the front of her brain.
But as Thora glanced over her shoulder, she hesitated. Would she leave or would she stay? That split second of indecision was all the girl needed to spin her traumatized and exhausted brain into a state of confusion. Thora knew that either way she went, she would probably feel guilty. If she left with Jorah, she would regret leaving behind other students to some stupid, cursed, drooling boy. However, if she stayed, Thora would never forgive herself if anything happened to Jorah who was obviously already dying--or Ruthie, for that matter.
But then, too many things happened at once. A strong boy that Thora only faintly recognized [HUGH] picked up Dymphna and got ready to leave. Finally, someone succeeded. Thora felt horrible for leaving her behind and following Ruthie and was afraid that Dymphna would be left unattended, bleeding to death on the floor. And then the crazed boy lunged at them and Dymphna dropped to the floor, another boy barely slowing her rather painful descent to the floor. And then he found another target. Griseldis, the girl she had met and had helped her and Ruthie with Jorah. He stuck out his fat tongue and gave her face--no, her eyes--a lick. "Gris! Are you okay??" Thora yelled, voice just loud enough to rise above the fray. And then blood was everywhere again, from the same direction Dymphna had been lying just minutes prior.
"I'm sorry, Ruthie," Thora called over to her shoulder at the retreating figures. She vowed to visit Jorah later, wherever he was. And hopefully Ruthie would also be okay. The year difference made it quite difficult for Thora to locate any first year at all, so however much she wanted to see Ruthie again, the chances that she would do so soon were slim. But that could wait. Where she was, people needed help. And where people need help, Thora knew the guilt would haunt her forever if everyone left in the room got obliterated. After all, she had already seen more than she ever wanted to see. It couldn't get much worse, could it? But no. It could get much, much worse.
Another yell off to her left caught Thora's attention. Not something else? A brunette was yelling across the room. If Thora remembered correctly--which she likely didn't due to the wealth of things raging around her--she had just successful cast a spell and knocked the crazed boy back, causing him to crash into a table. Hard. And if she remembered correctly, the girl was Saskia Nicholson. Thora had met Saskia over the summer when they had joined the same Summer Camp cabin. She hadn't gotten to get to know the Hufflepuff but had wanted to sometime in the future. Evidently, now was not the time, but at least she could...
The self-pronounced "Candy King" let out another wild screech, continuing to lick and bite. Slobbering all over himself, he turned and ran at Saskia. "Saskia!!" Thora yelled, running towards the brunette while trying not to trip over anyone else--it would be hard to do so anyways, as she was small enough as is. Evidently, however, the badger could take her own. Saskia deftly flipped Galton over and tried to pin him, facedown, to the ground. That girl was strong. No wonder she was a Beater on her Quidditch Team.
Then, another sound pierced the air followed by the unmistakable sound of more slobbering. The boy was now targeting someone else she knew. Katrina Walker. This time, Thora wouldn't be so fast to act. She wasn't exactly the nicest person Thora had come across, as she had cast Flipendo at her before, for no good reason. Besides, she hadn't at all helped take care of Dymphna. She had taken the splintery chair leg out, causing the third year a whole world of stinging pain. Of course, Thora didn't have much medical expertise herself, so perhaps that was the protocol for most situations. But it had been the wrong choice with Dymphna and all of them had paid for that. The part-Veela had bled to the point where, well, Thora didn't want to go there. With all that had happened, deaths hadn't been a part.
Following the examples of many around her, Thora decided on magic. There was no way to stop the cursed boy--or whatever he was--besides taking him down. Sure, she could protect each new target he picked, but she could only last so long. It was better to just eliminate him from the situation, perhaps knocking him out. Thora was more than ready to knock him out. With all the damage he caused, he deserved it, no matter what he was under the influence of.
Continuing her sprint towards Saskia, Thora saw a boy attempting to tickle the crazed kid. A boy that barely registered as her Quidditch Captain. There were now too many people closing in on the pinned boy. Apparently, the original threats, two part-giants, had been taken out and were littering the floor, unconscious. One had a ruined eye that was bleeding horrifically. A glance at the high heel sticking out at a strange angle was all she needed to see. It was too much. Of course, Thora was more than happy that the part-giants were eliminated but there were just some things that were too graphic.
Waving her wand in a smart swish and a flick, Thora cried, "Wingardium Leviosa!" It was the spur-of-the moment, random type of decision. At least it would be slightly harder to hit if he was floating in midair.
She would have paused to acknowledge Saskia, but there were a couple problems with that. First, she would probably distract the Hufflepuff. Second, however much she wanted to, now was not the time. Thora had learned enough through everything she had witnessed in the past hour or so.
Action | Cast the Levitation Charm at Galton Lansdale
Note: I am assuming that Saskia's pinning Galton is successful. If it is not, Thora's action will be the same but simply disregard whatever I reiterated about it in my post.

The Masquerade Ball
The restrained part-giant wasn't able to evade the punch from the young martial artist. The moment Griseldis felt her fist connected to the side of the man's jaw. She could feel the rushing impact and the pain quickly spread like lightning from her knuckle. Huge loud cracking noise could be heard and then another individual used a high heel and stabbed right in the eye, which really terrified her. In the end, the part-giant had finally fallen. I hope Ruthie and the others were able to escape from here. That was the first thing that came in Griseldis's mind after the hard punch.Interacting with @Galton Lansdale @Alan NobleMention @Ruthie Greer @Thora Larkston @Jorah MoussaStatus: Depth perception off (licked in eye), reduced accuracy.

Just when she thought the chaos was over, someone caught her from surprise and started licking her eye, "AAAAHHHH!!!! WHAT IN MERLIN!? G-GET OFF OF ME!!!", Griseldis shouted in panic by the sudden attack. The one who licked her did let go off her before she could push it away. Then she heard it was a boy who was laughing like a maniac and called himself the "Candy King". She also heard Thora yelling from the side not so far away, asking if she was ok. It felt so gross after her eye got licked but thankfully just one eye, so she could at least rely on the other eye to see things around her. Grisleidis heard another familiar voice, a boy who angrily shouted the incarnation of the Green Spark Spell. "Alan!?", looked up and even with one eye, she could still clearly see that it was none other her Ravenclaw good friend! It was the first time seeing Alan so brave like this, it really amazed her. Griseldis could only pray that Alan would be successful.
Griseldis noticed that many other students attempted to attack the crazy boy but no matter what, he was not some sort of monster, he was just a kid, a fellow student like them! Unlike the giants, Griseldis didn't have the heart to hurt a student even when he was crazy. She believed that the boy might have been cursed by someone to act this way. Griseldis suddenly had a better idea to stop him from "eating" other students, she took out her wand and tried her best to aim it at the "Candy King"'s direction. Griseldis waved her wand in a certain form and shouted, "Rictusempra!!"
