— Mia, what do you think of this dress?

The two friends were enjoying their Saturday, taking some time to shop before classes stopped. Vaysa was making the most of these last moments with her friend before heading off to Hogwarts. Mia turned to her and looked at the dress. She found it too pale.

— I don’t like it. It looks like it’s been washed out! she said, making a face.

Vaysa giggled softly. She was really going to miss Mia’s humor and cheerful attitude. She hoped she'd make some new friends at Hogwarts. Her mother had told her that there were people just like her there, people who didn’t know much about the magical world. She really hoped that was true. Mia noticed her thoughtful expression and said:

— Don’t worry, when you're off at boarding school, we’ll write letters to each other!
— And what do you think of this sweater? I’m not sure… it’s nice but kinda flashy...

Vaysa smiled at her friend, not entirely reassured by the idea of writing letters.

— Hmm… do you think we’ll be able to send messages too? And about the sweater, I like it, but I think there’s a more classic version next to it.

Mia nodded and replied:

— Maybe we can text, but it depends if your boarding school allows phones…
I’m gonna check out the other version of the sweater, wanna come with me?

Vaysa replied:

— Okay, I’ll come with you!

For the first time, Elizabeth was allowed to go shopping alone. She was walking quietly when a store caught her eye. The outfits in the window were very pretty and in Elizabeth's style. Smiling, the young girl pushed open the store door and entered. Inside, a warm and welcoming atmosphere reigned. Elizabeth wandered from aisle to aisle, hoping to find what she was looking for. She was especially looking at the dresses. Elizabeth loved dresses, but she liked the more understated ones, not the ones she was forced to wear to her parents' galas. She walked around and there she came across a very beautiful sweater; it was in a less flashy color than the one on the other side of the aisle. That's when two young girls arrived. Elizabeth stepped back, slightly thrown by their arrival. The young girl had the impression they wanted to see the sweater she had been looking at a moment earlier. A little embarrassed, she said kindly to them:

"Sorry, do you want to see the sweater?"

Elizabeth didn't know what else to say, usually she was with her two older brothers or with her mother, and each time they were the ones who handled this kind of situation.
