Shells From Moon booth open

While the sun stood high in the sky, casting its golden rays over a sea of bustling booths, one corner remained calm, serene, and quietly enchanting. Sheels From Moon, nestled gracefully in the shade, exuded an ethereal charm that set it apart from the noisy vibrance around it. Despite not being in the spotlight, it caught the eye effortlessly—with its soft, dreamy colors and a sense of delicate elegance that drew people in like a gentle tide.

The booth displayed a delicate and sweet collection of handmade designs crafted with seashells, polished pearls, and hints of the ocean’s charm. There were mirrors and hair brushes framed with tiny shells, softly tinted accessories, whimsical hair clips, and elegant crowns that seemed to shimmer with coastal magic. There was more shells and items- just in case if the customer wants to design their own decoration. The table itself was beautifully adorned with soft pink and beige flowers, arranged with a natural, effortless charm. In the far-right corner, a stick of incense gently released a soothing, fresh scent—vanilla and ocean breeze mingling in the air, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere that lingered softly around the booth.

Victoria moved gracefully around her booth, carefully arranging each delicate piece of her collection, while a soft, calming melody floated through the air in the background—its gentle rhythm blending perfectly with the peaceful ambiance of the shaded corner she had claimed for herself.

The heat was intense—almost mocking—as the sun cast its searing rays over the crowds. The brunette girl silently thanked herself once again for choosing a shaded spot. As she placed the flowers that decorated her booth, a small smile spread across her face, and the tiny dimple on her right cheek appeared. She took a step back to admire the setup, a sense of quiet pride welled up inside her—she truly felt she had poured a piece of her heart into every detail, and that effort now bloomed before her in the form of a soft, ocean-kissed dream.

The booth was filled with countless designs. Victoria, a devoted lover of the ocean who collected seashells every time she visited, felt a quiet joy knowing those little treasures had found their way into something so beautiful. Hair brushes, mirrors, hair clips, crowns, and vibrantly colored shells came together to create a truly enchanting display.

Everything was finally ready—now, all that was left was for someone to come by and fall in love with one of her designs. As Victoria felt a mix of nervousness and excitement swell in her chest, filling her lungs with a fluttery tightness, she looked up and spotted a customer approaching. She bit the inside of her cheek to stop herself from smiling too widely.

“Welcome! Is there anything that caught your eye?”

Graci had been having a wonderful summer camp. She hadn't gone to many muggle ones- any at all, really- so she hadn't known quite what to expect. But now there was one thing she knew; Never underestimate Hogwarts. Wizard kind in general.

Odd thoughts aside, it was a beautiful day. Hot, for sure, but wonderful. Graci liked all sorts of weather, and the sweltering sun was most definitely not her favourite, but it was nice, nonetheless.

The booths were all quite intriguing as well. She was planning to look at all of them at a glance first and then go back around if she wanted to visit any. And while there were many that intrigued her, one caught her eyes first, and longest.

Shells From Moon. A cute little booth in a serene corner somehow separate from all the hustle and bustle. Graci didn't particularly know why it had caught her eyes, but it did. Maybe It was because the girl running it seemed slightly familiar. Like she might have been in the same year as Graci or something close.

It was a beautiful booth, all in all, very feminine, but not in a bad way. Pretty pearls and seashells covered most of the surfaces, placed in such a way that Graci could all but feel the care put into it.

The warm summer air carried the soft light of the sun perched high in the sky, casting a gentle glow over Victoria’s first customer’s face. The soft strands of the brown-haired girl shimmered faintly with white highlights, making her seem even more beautiful in Victoria’s eyes. She could’ve sworn she’d seen this girl a few times before—but still, couldn’t quite recall any conversations they might’ve had. Tho she had to admit that this girl was gorgeous.

Victoria gave a slight nod to greet her, her usual cold and distant gaze betraying a flicker of excitement—only visible to someone truly observant.

“...Welcome,” she said gently. “Would you like to look at the premade decorations, or would you prefer to design something yourself?”

A soft tune played in the background, adding to the calm atmosphere. Victoria opened a pale pink box to reveal a small collection of pearls and seashells. Right next to it was another box filled with items the girl could use to create her own piece—hair brushes, mirrors, crowns, and hair clips.

“...You can choose from here if you’d like,” she added, her voice soft as she looked at the girl with quiet curiosity, waiting to hear her decision.

Pam wandered down the streets, eyes scanning for her next destination, the next booth she was going to visit. She had actually enjoyed the camp so far, even with the high level of heat, and the booth display was really pretty. She estimated she had time to visit about two more booths before she needed to return back to her own. She would make the most of her time.

Another booth drew her in, the words 'shells' and 'moon' catching her attention quickly. Admittedly the name was contradictory, since, according to her limited knowledge, no shells were found on the moon.

It sounds so good though.

Pam stepped in with little hesitation, her eyes widening at the vibrant display of shelled items. I've finally met someone who loves the sea more than me. That's some serious dedication.

Growing up, Pam had shared a very push-pull relationship with water. According to her dad, she had loved water since she was about two years old. Then from there till she was about six, she had been terrified of water and refused to go near the beach. Now, sbe would give up anything and everything to become a mermaid and live in the water.

Those thoughts didn't matter now. Someone else was already there, a girl she had seen vaguely around school. She greeted her, and the other girl who was running the booth with a smile, eyes scanning through the pretty seashells.

Hello @Pamela Graham
███████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
Graci smiled softly at the booth's creator, "Hi, I'm Graci... it's a really beautiful stand you've got here."

She was feeling soft today, like the world took a day off from being harsh and cruel. Not that it usually was to her, though. She liked to think that life was being kind to her for now before 'the real world' kicked in.

"I'm a rather indecisive person so... I might just look at them for a bit. Mental delegations, ya know?" It was a rhetorical question, addressing her mental state of picking and choosing between the many options.

Her gaze slightly caught on the hair clips, she often used her wand to hold her hair up, otherwise it got all in her face. Long hair could be nice, but it could also be a hindrance. Back at Muggle school she just used a lot of pencils, but now she was at Hogwarts. And didn't particularly fancy getting her hair ink stained.

Graci gave a slight wave to another girl that approached the booth. She seemed familiar, most likely a Hogwarts student like herself. Well, what did I expect? This is a summer camp with kids from all the schools, of course I'm going to recognize people.

When the brown-haired girl introduced herself, Victoria offered a polite nod. “…Oh, hey Graci. I’m Victoria.” The music playing softly in the background paused for a brief moment, then resumed with a gentle, calming melody. “And of course—feel free to look around as much as you’d like,” Victoria added kindly, her voice warm and welcoming. She watched the girl for a few seconds, noticing how her attention seemed to linger particularly on the hair clips.A flicker of excitement stirred in Victoria’s chest.

When she looked up again and saw a blonde girl approaching the booth, she felt her heart skip a beat. More people were showing interest in what she had prepared—if she had been alone, she might’ve grinned like a fool from sheer happiness. But for now, she focused on keeping her composure, steadying the excitement bubbling just beneath the surface.

She straightened up ever so slightly and greeted the newcomer with a gentle nod.
“Welcome! Is there anything that caught your eye?”

Her tone was soft but inviting, hoping to make the girl feel comfortable while still managing her own fluttering nerves. The booth, filled with carefully crafted accessories and small decorative pieces, felt suddenly fuller—livelier—with the quiet hum of curious visitors drifting through the air.

Graci should probably wrap it up soon if she wanted to visit other booths. Go in and get out, as her father said every time they had to leave the bookstore. Even though he talked to people most of the day, he was still rather anti-social if books weren't involved. A common trait in the Laren household, it seemed.

It was decided that Graci liked this Victoria girl. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl, with a seemingly beautiful personality. Her kind of person. It would be so wonderful to be surrounded by that sort of people. Another life goal added to the list.

She had a lot of those, life goals, and most had been added periodically over the past year. Like, 'Survive all seven years at Hogwarts', or 'Make two lifelong friends'. The last one roughly translated to 'make so many friends that two of them are bound to stick around forever'.

Time to be decisive. Pick something you like. Get in and out.

The clips and brushes were drawing her a bit more, she didn't want to dawdle by making her own, though she would've enjoyed talking to Victoria a bit more. Maybe at school. We could talk then.

Taking one of the clips delicately in her hands, she inspected it. "These really are beautiful, you can tell how much care you put into them. It's admirable."

Pam would definitely make it a point to collect seashells next time she visited the beach. The booth was a rich collection of those colored treasures which always dotted the sandy shores. She had to admit, this girl was much nicer than she could ever be. Assuming all the shells had actually belonged to her, she was pretty strong to actually be giving them away. If it had been her, she would've been hoarding it like dragons are said to board their treasure.

Gods she was missing the sea so much right now.

The girl who was running the shop was probably a fan of clips, considering most of her stuff were hair clips, followed by mirrors. Pam found herself eyeing a shelled crown wistfully, remembering the flower crown she had bought from a previous booth and was currently adorning. Gosh, if only I had come here before....

Her eyes lit up as she spotted a set of bracelets. Ohh, i can definitely take one of those. Pam ran her hand over the seashells delicately, resisting the urge to spend all her remaining holiday money right here. That won't do, Pam. Focus.

Eventually, Pam ended up choosing three bracelets, one for her, and two more for her closer friends at Hogwarts, Ruth and Amelia. I do hope they like these. She held them out to the girl, "I'd like these three please."

Ever since her accident, the idea of looking into a mirror had spooked Siobhan, if not because she did not see herself but rather because she could not see herself. The act of missing your face- something you've never seen but for a reflection was jarring to her and had thus driven her away from the mirrors in her life. However with the mention from other students about a beautiful shell-studded booth, she couldn't help but gravitate towards the 'oohs' and 'ahhs' of those who could see the beauty of the ocean studded treasures that the student was selling out of their booth.

Siobhan's nimble fingers gently reached out for the closest thing that she could feel. It looked and felt to be a comb or brush of some sort with sprirally shells and colorful additions. Beads, spirals, swirls and all wonderfully tactile things that allowed her to see without seeing. She wondered if the owner of these fine things had many of them that they were willing to part with.

She overheard the other students who were in and around the booth marveling at the objects in question. She picked up a particularly heavy object which when gently turned around in her hands and held close to her face, she could see the glimmer of her face in the mirror side of it. Catching the colorful paint across her face, she gently rested her other fingers against her cheek as if marveling over the fact that faces could be seen.

The gentle speaking tone of the girl who must have run the booth seemed to be talking to her. or perhaps whoever it was that was around her. But speaking softly and gently looking back towards the mirror in her hands.

"You have such beautiful artwork. The intricacy of your work is marvelous. I would love to purchase one." she said with an ernest tone as she continued to hold the mirror up to her face and run her hand through her hair, feeling a little vain in the moment. Had her face always looked so piqued and narrow? She almost didn't recognize herself but she looked beautiful. Almost mesmerizing to herself.

"I quite like this one." Siobhan said as she placed the mirror down and held up one of the brushes delicately. It had a wonderful texture and from the colors that she could see when she brought the object closer to her face, that the shells and pearls of the brush were surrounded by a beautiful pink color.

I hope you don't mind our booths being easy sight distance from each other. If you do I will change it.
Claire took a quick break from her booth and went to see Shells From Moon, a booth near hers, that she had her eye on for a while. First, the name. Shells From Moon? Shells didn't go on the moon. But to Claire, it was a beautiful poetic name. She got closer and noticed it was a booth that sold shell decorated projects. A pretty name for a pretty booth, she thought.
Claire thought about getting a clip or mirror, or mabie a shell with decorations on it, but she needed a hairbrush. Her last one got a crack in the handle from dropping it in the bathroom last month. (Claire got surprised from a loud sound is why she dropped it.) And these beautiful brushes would look very nice next to sky blue, her favorite color. Claire picked up and admired several, then came to this one.
It was pretty, but not overly so. It didn't have any decorations in danger of falling off. She brushed two strokes on her hair and decided that she liked the hairbrush itself. It would look lovely in her room, or at school, or anywhere really. She decided that she would buy it. Mabie she would get something else, but for now the hairbrush.
Distractedly she said while lifting the hairbrush so the person in charge could see which one Claire wanted to buy, "Combien ça coûte ?" How much is it? in French! "Sorry!" Claire said, her cheeks reddening. She never forgot to speak in English to strangers. She must really be distracted, daydreaming about the hairbrush. "I said 'How much is it?', Claire said, "I'd like to buy this one."

Don't be fooled by my looks, blood, and riches; I am actually really nice.
