Fancy socks... Professors really were of another world. Galton knew that there were fancy clothes, fancy hats, and even fancy shoes, but fancy socks?! What were people thinking. They just sat on your foot! Under your feet, getting all sweaty. But Galton couldn't let Bercegeay know he had just heard of a fancy sock. He had to improvise. Toad would of course have the fanciest sock.

"Oh yeah, it's like, so fancy." Galton put his foot down, he was sure this sock wasn't fancy enough. He'd need detail for someone as smart as Bercegeay. "Yeah it's, it's yellow and, it has some holes in it to make it look really, really awesome!" It wasn't fancy enough, a fancy sock must have been really special or why would someone like her ask about it. "It even! It even has... feathers coming out of it!" He'd done it, a true genius and visionary of his class and house.

But there was more. The nice lady offered her help to keep Toad warm, even if she did keep calling Toad the wrong name, and gender. Galton's tummy was quickly growing more and more chilly, the words came flooding from his mouth. "Yes please, Toads are cold blooded anyway, please help!"

Olphie felt the bile creep up her throat as she heard the boy describe what he thought of as fancy. Yellow with holes? Yellow polka-dots would be okay, but not...holes. How would Dog stay warm? It seemed foolish that the boy only equipped his creature with the most bare protective garments.

But nonetheless, the boy accepted her offer for help, and she would assist him in any way that she could. She eyed the cat with fierce concentration, sticking her tongue out ever so slightly to maintain focus. If she didn't want to wait until Arctic saw her lovely blazer, she would simply have taken her jacket and magically sewn it up to fit the animal, but then she would be without love for the holidays. So instead, she stuck her tongue back inside and asked, "What if I make a trip to Diagon Alley this weekend, get a few fabrics. I'm thinking either a bustier dress or a Quidditch scarf that I can craft to fit Llama appropriately? Does she have a favorite color?"

Her eyes sparkled as she inquired. This task had been much more what she imagined being a professor would be like, the only dramatics being small children who were unable to keep proper attention to those poor animals that they were in charge of. Perhaps, as well, if she helped Galliant, the Hogwarts Headliner would interview her and feature her for her creative bravery and even more students would come to her with their deepest needs.
