Dear Mikey, That’s so sweet of him! Jasper will be excited to see him again at summer camp. Maybe this time they’ll have more time to cause chaos and explore the tents. I can’t wait to read the book! It’s been so long since I’ve last had the chance to read one! Also, don’t worry. I’ll make sure to bring an assortment of wizarding treats as well as some games. I won’t tell you which since that’ll be the surprise. I am going to the wedding! Actually, my dad is kinda forcing me to go just because he wants to not only keep up our pureblood stance but also because he wants to stay with my grandfather. I believe Dylan will be there too which makes things a little better. Are you going? - Avery

Dear Avery,

I am so stoked to hear you are bringing wizard treats, this is officially the best summer ever. I'm still not certain whether I'm more excitedly looking forward to seeing you or the actual attempt at one of those legendary wizarding pastries I've heard so much about (okay—you, of course, but the pastries are coming in second).

KodoPodo is 100% behind mayhem with Jasper. He's been practicing knocking things off shelves in more and more elaborate ways. I believe he's trying to make an impression. I have no idea how much havoc two magical pets can unleash at camp, but I guess we're about to find out. If the tents fall down during the first two hours, we'll know why.

And yes, I am attending the wedding! You’ll have to help me spot familiar faces because I’m pretty sure I’ll spend half the time wondering if I’m underdressed or saying the wrong thing. This whole pureblood formal event thing? Definitely not in the Muggle kid handbook. But if you’re going to be there, I’ll feel a lot better already. And having Dylan as a bonus, too, seems like the type of fellow to have around, even if he does threaten to read my letters aloud.

There is something crazy about believing we'll get a chance to see one another so soon. Both at the wedding and then again at camp. This summer was already making me believe it was going to be empty one and kind of gray. Now it's coming to feel like something I will always look back on.

Dear Mikey, I’ll do my best on making a pastry. It’s been awhile since I’ve last made one, but I’m sure my grandma has a special recipe somewhere lying around in the house that she’d be willing to help me make. She’s always baking something, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just in her box of recipes. Sounds like Jasper and KodoPodo really will get up to some chaos. Dylan got a cat a few days ago and it turns out that he’s the brother of Jasper. Though his cat doesn’t seem as chaotic. It’s actually funny since early this morning Jasper woke me up my running around the house like his tail was on fire. It was funny to watch, but he wouldn’t let me go back to sleep after it. Honestly? I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the two of them accidentally destroy the camp. It seems like something both of them would enjoy doing. Don’t worry about the wedding. My father’s making me go alone this time, so you won’t be the only one uncomfortable there. Though I do wonder who the Prides are. I’ve never heard of that group of purebloods. Hopefully everything will be cleared up at the wedding. Can’t wait to see you again, - Avery
