Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor
Heavy feet stomping on the grass, the light crackling of ice underneath his boots. With a serious look on his face, Hugh made his way across the field. His broom hung across his shoulder, again as if it were some heavy weapon he could smash things (or people) with. His warm breath would trail out into the cold air as he looked up. "Here we go again..." He found himself saying under his breath.
From the corner of his eyes he noticed Lamik handing off some plushie to their teammate. Shaking his head as he passed the two boys, he could not help but state: "Better hope we're not pulling the same maneuver as last time Blondie." He nodded over to his captain who he briefly saluted as he marched by. Seemed like Rook was excited to show the badgers what lions were made off. "Roar..." He quietly said more to himself, before lifting off and flying in position.

Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor
Finally, a new Quidditch game. Millie had to win this one, as she was finally a real player, instead of filling in for Marla during the first game. She was ecstatic to play again, and try to win this time. Well, not try, but successfully win this time. She had to prove to herself that she could do it.
As she entered the pitch with her teammates, she got a good glance at the Hufflepuff team. She only recognized a few of the players. Saskia, a positive acquaintance who has helped Millie a few times, and Carson, a good and goofy friend of hers. Friendships shouldn't get in the way of winning a game though. Especially when you really needed to win the game, her friends would understand if she knocked them off of their brooms, right?
Not that it'd mean anything...
Once Kyle finished his pep-talk for the team, Millie took in a deep breath. This was going to be the game they won! She mounted her Shooting Star and flew up into the sky next to the other two chasers. "Good luck!" She chirped to them.

Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor
The second match finally began, even though they lost their first match but Griseldis learned a lot from against the Ravenclaws and they all trained together to improve their skills. This time, Griseldis replaced her Shooting Star with a brand new broom, the Nimbus 1700. She saved up her money to buy a better broom that might help her in the game but that didn't mean she would rely on just the broom of course. With new additional teammates on the Gryffindor team, Griseldis was still hopeful that things would change for the better.
Listening to their Captain's strong and powerful speech, she was glad that he didn't lost his spirit. Getting on to her new broom and flew up to in mid-air, she first gave her rivals a respectful nods then had her gaze on the Quaffle that was about to be tossed up in the sky.

Annie raised her hand to shield her vision from the explosion of bright yellow and red colors cheering the the stands. She gave a timid wave to the crowd, her gut twisting in knots. This had happened previously and the won so she shouldn't be nervous right? Wrong. Never underestimate anyone was what she was told as a child, that includes herself.
She gulped in a deep breath of air and made her way out onto the field to meet the Gryffinfor team. She exchanged a few words of good luck and nods to the other members before turning back to their team. "I'll be damned if I can score a goal this time.." She mumbled to herself before mounting her broom and getting in position. Annie looked back to the beched players and gave them a thumbs up. That right there was her promise to herself and her team and anyone who was counting on her that she would try her best. She turned back around, gave a curt nod to Saskia, her captain and tightened her grip on her broom handle. "Ready as I'll ever be.."

Asteria felt... Actually, she honestly didn't know what she felt. It was a strange feeling for her, as someone used to labeling her emotions, finding the precise phrases needed to describe her emotional state. To not have those words was, well, odd. If she had to guess, she would assume that the problem lay in her performance in the last game. They had won, but she had failed to protect her goal. It left her worried, a worry which followed like an angry specter as she strode onto the pitch.
Worry had the unpleasant side-effect of making her hands slippery with sweat. It made her thankful for the keeper's gloves, not only preventing her hands from slipping, but also preventing the slivers of wood in the old school broom from riddling her hands with splinters. At least today is sunny, she thought with a dour smile, picking idly at the broom handle. Well. Time to go play. Her hands wrapped around the broom and she lifted off, moving into position by the Hufflepuff goal posts.ACTION: Getting into position.

Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor
The fresh breeze of the air blew into her face as she marched onto the Quidditch Pitch clad in those scarlet robes and holding her broom in hand. It was nothing legendary but it would do the trick. A part of her was extremely nervous and the butterflies in her stomach were too many to count. Granted, she was a backup in case their primary Seeker went down but there was always a chance. She did not want to mess in front of this many people watching. That simply would not do. Their Captain gave quite an energizing talk, he seemed pumped about their game and while she didn't echo his roar as she was too busy comprehending other horrible possibilites, a part of her told her to snap out of this.
"You got this. Quit being a scaredy-cat."She told herself firmly eyeing the opposing team who were assembling shooting a thumbs-up to her team members. She hadn't been present when Ravenclaw had snatched the victory from their house but today would be different. She had always dreamed of making the Quidditch team, doing something for her house and here was that chance. To show that she was made of something. Today would be different. They had a solid, well-put together team and that was that. It was time to play.

Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor

♦♦♦A dull memory of getting walloped by the bludger had seeped deep into the Hufflepuff’s skull, the pain from that day having been stemmed by the hospital wing and the knowledge that despite her fall they had still done it. They had still won! Now it was time again for the game to begin, and against griffindor this time. She’d been a bit disappointed that she wouldn’t be facing off against Ruthie, but it did make it a night easier to go against a house she had very few friends in. The rumble of many feet in the stands and the buzzing of the air around her ears left her smiling. Her customary bounce about posture enacted again as her energy soared. The Shaw stood to attention beside her fellows, school broom in hand and a glint in her sharp eyes. She’d find the snitch again, and maybe this time she’d stay upright!
Crack-a-wack goes the Bludger
Down and drown again we go.

Here we go again. Was the key thought that passed through Quinn's mind. Last time he was taken out in the first minute of the match. He would not let that happen again. He swore to himself to stop that eventuality from happening. Gripping his new large broom firmly the young half giant flew out onto the pitch. His expression a furrowed concentration. Getting focused on his goals. He would not go down this time.

Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor
This was going to be Hufflepuff's second game, although this time around, they'd be facing off against the Gryffindors. Saskia had to be careful. In her last game, she was dragged down by her own self-doubt. She didn't know if she would live up to her team's expectations, or if she'd succeed in her role as Captain. But that had to end now. She learned from her first game, and she would do what it took to lead her team to victory. They may have won before, but that didn't mean they could let their guard down now.
With a quick nod towards her team, she flew into position and tightly gripped on her bat, narrowing her eyes. She would be ready.

Maggie was glad to finally be on the team, even if it was a backup position. To be honest, however, she was pretty sure she’d end up playing- beaters usually got knocked out pretty quickly. She wasn’t sure how she felt about that one. She watched Carson from the bench, waving at him enthusiastically with a goofy grin, aiming to embarrass him. She’d been ecstatic when she heard her first game was to be against Hufflepuff.
