"Wingardium Leviosa!" To Jorah's surprise the girl he targeted was now frozen in midair as her broom flew out from under her legs. I can't believe that worked! I guess that means you are listening, thank you!, Jorah told his wand telepathically. The levitation charm was short lived, once it wore off, the girl fell to the ground. That was for Ru! Jorah scanned the air around him for the other players. His friend Shauna was targeting a large boy, a half-giant. That's a big guy, she's gonna need some help.

Jorah leaned forward on his broom, soaring towards his fellow Ravenclaw. Jorah would never make it over to Shauna though. While heading in her direction he caught sight of another familiar face, Neculai, his Quidditch teammate. What is he doing? He looked blood thirsty and he was headed straight for Jorah, wand at the ready. Et tu, Nicky-poo? The metaphorical knife in his back was much less devastating than actually getting stabbed in the back, Jorah had some experience with that, but Neculai's early betrayal hurt all the same. He knew it would come to this eventually, but Jorah had hoped the quidditch pals would save each-other for the end, but it was not so. With that, Jorah lifted up his wand, aiming it at his Seeker. Ok, let's just do the same thing again. He swished his wand in a sideways S and gave it a flick downwards with his wrist while reciting the incantation, "Wingardium Leviosa!"

The boy, furious that he had been targetted had cast the Knockback Jinx at the Hufflepuff who was desperately attempting to retrieve his broom. Perhaps he had performed the wand movement incorrectly or had a lack of concentration, the magical instrument had failed to produce a spark.

The dhampir was beginning to becoming a little frightening, his fangs were unsheathed and eyes were blood red. The aspiring Monster Hunter who was flying above spectating the game would definitely have noticed. Unfortunately, the vampire side of the Ravenclaw done little good in his situation. (Crit Fail | Rolled 2) The spell cast from the wand had backfired. This time the dhampir did not manage to get a good grip on the broom and would find himself hurtling backwards. Wether it was intentional or not, moments before the boy was supposed to hit the ground, he would find himself floating in mid air. The other Ravenclaw had apparently saved the dhampir’s fall.

Intrigued she was by the giant but she did not hesitate to aim her spell at the biggest target. A bold move for such a tiny first year like her. Her spell was cast flawlessly, however, the Hufflepuff beater had managed to dodge the spell with a swift swerve to the side.

Despite his determination, the half giant failed to produce the tickling hex and the poor first year Ravenclaw was left alone for now. Perhaps the scottish boy was a little too rude to his wand.

@River Dewlight

The female dhampir was quick to aim her spell at the fellow Ravenclaw. What was up with Dhampirs targeting those of their own house? This time, the wand which was doomed by her previous spell refused to cooperate and nothing was produced from its top. Fortunately, her spell had not backfired like the other Dhampir’s and River and remained safely seated on her broom.

In an attempt to replicate the previous result which he had eliminated a player, Jorah cast the levitation charm once again. Jorah’s spell did not go as how he planned. His target had supposedly doomed himself with a failed knockback jinx. His housemate was hurtling backwards and just in the nick of time had Jorah’s spell save him from hitting the ground. Of course, that wasn’t the first year’s intention but it would do. Neculai could be seen feet below, floating before the spell broke and he landed softly on the grass.

Surprisingly through the sneezes, Donnovan managed to manoeuvre his broom so that it was a few feet from the ground before swiftly grabbing the fallen wand. He now had his wand, along with a few blades of grass and a handful of dirt in his possession. Now the was to avoid the raging Slytherin boy.

Donny reached for his wand hard, he felt his arm was about to snap off. And then, almost falling off his broom, he got hold of his wand! He flew up swiftly, and looked around, ready to get back to work. He looked at the Slytherin boy who had been targeting him the whole game. He'd missed Donny by an inch. "Ha, ha! Maybe next time!" he said, as he zoomed off, is wand out! He looked over the field with eagle eyes, searching for his next victim of attack. Then he saw a brilliant steak of red hair. How could he miss it? The giant boy from his own house was on a broom not even a quarter his size! He pointed his wand at the boy-

"Flipendo!" 

He cast, the bright flash of spell emitting from the end of his wand. He could just hope it would move fast enough to knock this guy off! His broom that is. Quinn, after all, was a pretty good Quidditch player, Donny would say that. But he still had advantage over this unsuspecting victim. Donny flew up, still in view of Quinn, but out of sight of most of his opponents. Or so he thought. The same girl from earlier had began to circle him, and he heard her chant the incantation. He flew to the right, and then to the left, trying with all his might again to evade this attacker. He crossed his fingers, hoping he would at least last to the next round.    

Action: Casting Flipendo at Quinn Healy. Attempting to evade Shauna Starr's Curse of the Bogies.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" The spell caught Neculai by his clothing, suspending him in air and slowing his fall just in time to avoid a hard crash to the ground. Jorah thought about what had just transpired. Neculai had targeted him with the intent to knock him off of his broom, but instead Neculai's Knockback Jinx had backfired, sending Neculai, not Jorah, tumbling off of his broom to the grass below. At the same time, Jorah retaliated by targeting Neculai with a Levitation Charm with the intent of levitating Neculai off of his broom, but instead it saved Neculai from the painful fall which was meant for Jorah, had the spell not backfired. Jorah laughed to himself at the irony of the situation. He flew above Neculai and yelled down, "You're welcome!," before flying back into the fray.

Jorah spotted a blonde boy who he hadn't met before. He looked pretty unscathed from the game so far. Jorah aimed his wand at the boy. He motioned his wand down and up as if tracing a checkmark, ending the motion with a small hook in the shape of a U. While he motioned, he exclaimed the incantation, “Flipendo!” Jorah hoped this spell would work out better for himself than it did with Neculai.
