Ok, lets try this out. Ellie was walking to Quidditch Training Pitch to get so practice on the school brooms before she added her name to the Quidditch waitlist. Let's hope a chaser is out! Being a chaser was what Ellie wanted to be on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, even if this year their record wasn't to hot... The chaser position sounded the funnest since there was always action. But Ellie was trying to get a little practice since well she had only played "Quidditch" with her parents and cousins. That didn't count, she had used one of those little children brooms that raised two feet off the ground.
Ellie grabbed a old school broom, that was covered in dust and spider webs from a broom cupboard. Ewww! But there is nothing else! Ellie gripped the broom and walked onto the quidditch pitch. Wait, I don't know what I'm doing! Hopefully someone is here it help me practice! But if there isn't... I'm going to look super awkward! I'll make a fool of myself! Her brain was going a million places at once, contrast to the still area surrounding her. If someone is here, hopefully if, when I make a fool of myself, they will not laugh at me or at least laugh with me!
Lucky for Ellie, when she got to the training pitch, there was already another girl practicing. She seemed to be flying towards the quidditch hoops! A chaser! Hopefully! Ellie watched as the girl threw the quaffle through the hoops. So she is a chaser! The girl was wearing a Gryffindor outfit which lead Ellie believe she was Gryffindor. Which didn’t really matter since any practice was good practice!
Ellie called up to the girl, "Um, Hi! My name is Ellie. I want to try out for the Hufflepuff quidditch team, and I was wondering if you could help me since I want to be a chaser."
There, she said it. Ellie held her breath, waiting for her response.

It was a beautiful day, and it would’ve been a shame to let it go to waste, so Alliasta grabbed her broom early and headed outside. She was going to the training field. During the last Quidditch match, she had described her performance as terrible. But no one is perfect, so instead of being upset, she was happily open to improving herself. Focusing on her flaws wasn’t as important as working to overcome them.
There was no one at the Quidditch training field and she hadn’t expected anyone to be there either. Still, having someone watching would’ve made things more exciting. She sighed and jumped on her broom. Being a Quidditch Chaser was tough, especially for a second-year like her, but nothing was impossible. Challenges were just obstacles meant to be overcome with effort.
For almost half an hour, she practiced, pushing the Quaffle from one side of the field to the other. She was also trying to stay alert to avoid getting hit by a Bludger again... even though there weren’t any around. Just as she was about to shoot the Quaffle through one of the goal hoops, she heard a voice. She turned to see a girl speaking to her. A wide smile immediately spread across her face. She grabbed the Quaffle and flew toward the girl, and when she landed, she approached her with a big smile.
"Oh, I’m sorry! I didn’t hear you while I was up there! I’m Alliasta Holista, but you can call me whatever you like. So, what was it you said?"
Alliasta ask while hold up her hand for shake.

The girl started flying down towards her. Maybe she does want to help me! Hopefully she does want to help me and not not want to help me since I'm in another house and would be on a separate team! Luckily, the girl didn't say that she didn't want to help Ellie when she asked! Well actually, the girl didn't hear her, which made sense since she was all the way up in the clouds! Ok not that high...
"I asked if you would be willing to help me practice somethings since I would like to joinn the Quidditch team as a chaser and you look like a... a chaser?" Ellie said making the last part seem more like a question on accident. Why?
Ellie was gripping the school broom handle so hard, her knuckles were white. Noticing this,she released her hold on the broom, her color in her knuckles slowing returning. Ellie held her breath again, while waiting for the answer. Ellie looked at the girl now that she was closer. Are her eyes two colors? Neat! Her eyes seemed to be blue and brown! The girl seemed pretty good from what Ellie saw but Ellie had never been to any of the Hogwarts quidditch games except for the last Ravenclaw vs. Hufflepuff one, everyone else she had been studying. If i'm going to join the team, I need to watch more quidditch!

Alliasta's eyes grew with joy, someone was literally asking for her help! And help was being asked to teach the girl her favorite thing. She took her broom in her other hand and brushed her hair out of her eyes
"Wow wow! You want to be a chaser too?! That's so cool! My favorite position is chaser too! Oh and don't worry I'll help you even if we're from different teams!"
Alliasta looked at the girl again, she was definitely not from Gryffindor because Alliasta watched the Gryffindor students very carefully when they were in the common room, they would have familiar faces anyway, but this girl was not a Gryffindor. Judging by her appearance, she wasn't very old, if she was a second year, Alliasta would see her or look familiar, so Alliasta was sure she was a first year.
"You're from a different house, aren't you? I don't mean to jump to conclusions, but I'm pretty sure I haven't seen you in Gryffindor."
Alliasta glanced at the girl’s hand gripping her broom… too tightly. For a moment, Alliasta wondered if she had scared or made the girl uncomfortable, but she could tell right away that wasn’t the source of her nervousness. Or was it just meeting someone new? Well, Alliasta wasn’t going to stop until she was sure this girl was comfortable around her.
"You don't need to be stressed or anything. Come on, hop on the broom and you can fly, right? Once you get a little higher, I'm sure all your negative thoughts will be blown away by the wind. If we're going to train, clear your mind first!"
Alliasta jumped on her broom, which was a Nimbus 1700, and rose slightly and waited for the girl. If there was training, it would definitely be good to start now, the weather was nice and cool.
"Oh and I forget to tell you that I am a chaser in Gryffindor officalquidditch team. Hehe"

The girl seemed excited to help which was perfect, Ellie was excited to play- well, practice!
"You're from a different house, aren't you? I don't mean to jump to conclusions, but I'm pretty sure I haven't seen you in Gryffindor." The girl said to her.
"Yeah, there is not a high chance you will ever see me in Gryffindor. I'm a Hufflepuff." Ellie said, laughing.
Ellie tapped her fingers around her brooms handle and took in the area around her. The practice pitch was a lot smaller then the pitch where games were played, which was the only one Ellie had been to. The sky was pretty clear today so Ellie figured it must be a good day to practice. The girl said that she could mount her broom. So Ellie mounted it like she had seen others do. She lifted one leg and put it over the rickity old school broom and then, she rose off the ground about two feet and just hung there. She was a little shaky and almost fell off the broom at first but regained control. I should try getting a new, fancy-er broom.
Ellie thought that since this girl was helping her, she might as well know her name. "My name is Ellie." She told her. "What's yours?
Ellie was less shaking in the air by now and was sorta just hanging there, every now and then she would start wobbling but regain her place after a little. I can't wait to start practicing! And with that thought in head, she raised higher.

Ellie introduced herself after she'd risen a bit into the air. Old-school brooms, oh Alliasta had flown on them before she got her own, and they weren't the most comfortable, but the feeling of floating was definitely worth it. The feeling of freedom and all that was wonderful.
"Oh I'm such a dummy, giving out a lot of unnecessary information without introducing myself hehe. My name is Alliasta Holista! But I really like nicknames, so whatever you feel comfortable with! But wait I was introduce myself before! Hehe did you forget?"
Alliasta giggled as she spun upside down on the broom, then returned to her original form. She threw the quaffle into the air and caught it back.
"So you said you will be a new cheaser for badgers? Okay then how about you start by trying to take the quaffle from me? To be fair I'll fly slow and give you a few advantages"
Perhaps they would become rivals in the future, and the prospect of a friendly match was already exciting for Alliasta.

Alliasta smiled when she told her she is a Hufflepuff. Everyone loved those perfect Hufflepuffs, she thought. Alliasta might have been a Hufflepuff herself, the house of kindness and justice, but it was her inner courage and adventurous spirit that had placed her in Gryffindor. And she was quite happy about that. A proud Gryffindor!

The girl introduced herself as Alliasta. Thats a pretty name. Ellie had never heard a name like that before, it was pretty!
"So you said you will be a new chaser for badgers? Okay then how about you start by trying to take the quaffle from me? To be fair I'll fly slow and give you a few advantages" Alliasta said, not unkindly to Ellie.
"Well, I don't know about will. There is a lot of people on the waitlist and..." Ellie shrugged, not sure what to add to that statement. "Yeah, that sounds good!"
Ellie took a breath, waiting for Alliasta to start first. Ellie crossed her fingers, hoping not to make a fool of herself, then quickly uncrossed them, as she didn't want to fall of her broom making a fool of herself already. If this went well, maybe then she would have the courage to add her name to the quidditch waitlist, and maybe then she would buy that broom she had her eyes on. She looked at Alliasta's broom. Alliasta had the broom Ellie had been eyeing! Ellie looked the brooms sleek look, and how fast it could go.
This was so exciting, she knew that Alliasta wouldn't purposely let her get the ball, no one their age would. My parents would, which is why practicing with them is no fun! Ellie thought to herself, recalling a time when she was younger and her parents had tried to teach her and her sister quidditch but kept letting the win. It was boring. Alliasta looked like the kind of girl who would push Ellie and make sure she actually practiced.
