@Rose MoonDate - 11/07/25 WC 322/200 Color Legend - Mylo | Thoughts A big tree trunk stood before them, it's bark covered in moss and ivy making Mylo have to properly look to try and see what was moss and what was bark. Along the base of the trunk he could see quite a few mushrooms, completing the picture of a fairytale like tree.
Mylo stood in front of his 'tent' in awe, not having expected such a perfect place to sleep when they had arrived at the same stadium as last year but having seen their options they knew that had to choose this one. Mylo already knew he was going to sleep amazingly here, also because he'd be with his friends.
Stepping inside the tree trunk Mylo had to stop to take everything in, the branches had made themselves into bedframes with mushrooms glowing around them acting like nightlights, it also seemed like some where literal dandelions which looked so so comfy, it would be hard to choose which one they'd like to sleep on for the duration of the camp.
Knowing that they'd have to choose eventually but had some time Mylo just deposited their bag at the nearest bed, wanting to have a closer look at the pond that they could see in the middle of the room. This was by far the best thing Mylo had ever slept in, and he already knew that they'd be sad to leave it behind.
Around the water's edge Mylo admired the flowers that had bloomed, looking at the gorgeous colours and noticing the patches of dirt that had nothing growing out of them. During their stay he'd have to fill those up somehow. Taking a spot on one of the mossy cushions, once again he marvelled at how perfect this place was, Mylo sat down and just let themselves get lost in the beauty and the serenity this place gave off, not noticing if any others made their way into the 'tent'.

Avis shouldered the fraying strap on her massive old dufflebag and blew a stray piece of dark hair out of her face as she studied the "tent" in front of her. A bloody stump?
She'd been told her tent would be filled with woodland charm, a mystical interior and enchanting foliage. But what the Ravenclaw hadn't imagined from this description was the fact that the tent would actually be the foliage. Avis pursed her lips and squared her shoulders. Hopefully she wouldn't have to pick acorns out of her bed.
When she breached the inside, however, her mouth fell open in a gasp of wonder. It truly was an enchanting faerie forest scene, something straight out of a storybook. The soft sound of a spring trickling into the pond in the center blended into the sound of tree branches swaying in a slight breeze, although there were no actual trees towering above her. She smiled. Now this was something she could get used to.
A firefly floated past, winking on and off, as Avis glanced around for beds. She caught sight of her friend Mylo in the process and marched over, the heavy bag almost toppling her over when she moved. She dropped in from her shoulder with a relieved huff and it fell with a worrying clatter onto the mossy floor next her feet, but she paid it no mind.
She hadn't seen Mylo in weeks! It truly was good to see a friendly face after spending most of the summer so far alone at home, however distracted they might be at the moment. Their eyes had a far off look as they took in the beauty of the interior of their tent. Avis reached out and waved a hand gently in front of their eyes.
"Mylo? Don't tell me this tent comes with daydream enchantments," she joked, greeting her friend.

Growing up Maisie hadn't really gone to very many summer camps. There was one very simple reason: summer camp was expensive. To attend now in this magical space was something she was very much looking forward to, especially because Mylo and Avis had asked her. Oh, and Mylo's friend from the garden party too. All in all, a nice bunch.
Or, rather, a nice trunk. Her eyebrows raised as she stood in front of it, clutching a quilted luggage bag in her hand. For a moment, she thought this had to be wrong until—
—Oh, yes. That's Avis' voice!
Ducking slightly for good measure, she made her way inside the stump. And it was in the interior that it truly opened up: a bright pond, mushroom nightlights, mossy cushions. Her jaw dropped slightly. "Cool," she let out as she took in the scene, which was so unlike home or school. It was the antithesis of her the urban lifestyle, which she had grown so accustomed to.
"Did you say dream enchantments?" she queried, coming up to the two of them. "You know dream spells, coach?" She wasn't sure whether to be surprised or not. Mylo was a most excellent wizard, surely capable of such a thing, but they were also still, regretfully, not very fun. And dreaming definitely seemed like a fun kind of spell: flying a griffon to the zenith of the sky, boarding a train to the Orient, or living life as a beluga whale were all possible in dreams—and more!
By now, Maisie knew she didn't always have to be literal. There was just a look—a sharpening of her eyes—that seemed to say, teach us please.
At least, Avis would understand.

Keen Eye / Lovely Creature / Healing Sage / Calming Presence / Animagus
This camp had the potential to be Rose's last. She wasn't sure what she was going to be doing next year at this time, but she could only guess that she would be doing a lot of adult things. Getting a job and a house and all that- things that were equally exciting and terrifying. And also, she didn't know the protocol of graduated students. Were they allowed one last hurrah in the form of a summer camp before leaving Hogwarts for good?
All in all, Rose didn't know what was in store for her after graduating, so she was determined to live this last camp to its fullest. In the past, she had sometimes approached camp a little half-hearted. She would go to an event or two, spend time with a few friends, and leave it at that. But not this year. This year she had tentmates, and she had even heard about a few events coming up that piqued her interest like a derby and a petting zoo. So Rose was determined to make the most of this camp. And that started with getting settled in her tent.
Mylo, her good friend, had been the one to choose the tent that they stayed in and while Rose completely trusted his judgement, she had to admit that the place they were staying wasn't exactly... a tent. It was more like a tree trunk. They certainly were getting creative with these housing options. Chaska, Rose's cat, looked up at the redhead and meowed at her, looking a little apprehensive at the lack of glamour that their temporary residence had.
"Just trust me," Rose said to her, shifting her bag on her shoulder. Rose made her way inside the mossy trunk, and was soon in a room that made her feel very much like a fairy. Beds grew out of the soft ground, and a pond rested in the middle, where all three of her tentmates were. Mylo, of course. Maisie, who Rose had met at the ball. And the third, Rose wasn't sure she'd met yet.
The three were talking about... dream spells? Rose had to say she didn't know any. Clearly, she had missed something. "Hey, guys," she greeted the three with a smile, soon becoming aware of how much older she was than them. The redhead had known this coming in, and she found she had a few options- either whine and complain about it, which sounded sad and awful, lord it over their heads, which she probably would only do teasingly, or own it. Rose had opted for the last one- just because these students were younger than her didn't mean it would take away from her experience in the slightest. Actually, they might even make it more fun. Merlin knew that some kids in her year had hoisted themselves up on a high horse just for being older, and Rose refused to be boring like that.
"It's Maisie, right? We met at the ball?" she asked Maisie, giving her time to respond before turning to the unknown student. "But I'm not sure we did. I'm Rose. Oh- and that's Chaska," Rose gestured to the silver fluffy cat, who stared up at the two strangers. "What's your name?"
"This place is beautiful," she said, casting her gaze around. She almost expected hearing the giggle of an actual fairy, but the staff probably would keep the place so that creatures couldn't sneak in.

Chaska is very friendly, so feel free to lightly godmod her rubbing on legs, asking for attention, accepting pets, etc.

@Rose MoonDate - 11/07/25 WC 345/200 Color Legend - Mylo | Thoughts The ripples of the water had created a sort of trance effect on Mylo, who had gotten fully lost inside their own mind wondering about everything and nothing all at the same time. That was until a hand was waved in front of his face kickstarting his brain back into the right gear.
Shaking themselves out of their daydreams Mylo looked up smiling as a familiar face came into view, two others following shortly behind it. Standing up and dusting themselves off Mylo turned towards the newcomers smiling and giving a small wave at all three of them.
"Not as far as I'm aware, I'm not even sure those exist actually" He stated at Avis's question, directing the second part of their response towards Maisie who seemed to always be curious about any spells she didn't know about which Mylo could relate to. "The closest I can think of is that they sometimes do stuff with dreams in divination?"
They had also somehow picked up the nickname 'Coach' from her which honestly didn't surprise him either as they had helped her with a few things here and there, but to call them a full on coach was a bit of a reach in their opinion. But before they could get much further they felt a ball of fur walk past their legs and couldn't resist to sit down on their heels to give Chaska some pets that she was obviously being starved of in her mind.
Petting the cat in front of them made him think of Ash, who had decided to go off and explore on his own before coming to the tent so Mylo hoped that he wouldn't be too long. But at least there was one cat who was enjoying the attention.
Mylo didn't stop petting Chaska but did turn his attention back to his friends. "So, how are you guys, looking forward to summer camp?" Knowing that Avis hadn't been on summer camp last year, although even though Mylo had been even he wasn't sure what to expect this time round.

"It's Maisie, right? We met at the ball?"
"Oh, yeah, I remember," she said as she greeted the older girl and her cat, "Well, Margaret technically, but only my mum calls me that sometimes." A beat passed as she wondered how she'd managed to drop her legal name, which she never used. It wasn't a huge deal—Avis was in the process of determining multiple alternative nicknames for her—and Mylo had, along with the rest of the school, heard it back at the sorting ceremony months ago. Nothing terrible had happened that she should be branded as such in this moment; so, perhaps it was simply a reflex of comfort she had within this group.
And that was nice. She smiled lightly. "I should have brought Mischief," she muttered as she waved to Chaska. The bunny needed to have some positive interactions with cats considering he'd continuing living with the girls and Quigley.
Taking a tour of the room, she could hear Mylo behind her pontificating on the question of dreams—and whether they existed at all. Her eyes narrowed. "Aw, come on, Mylo. Wouldn't it be cool to like hop into someone's dream? Or watch it? Or even, no wait, design dreams?" She'd be good at it, surely, if it was anything like designing clothes. Speaking of which she had begun to unpack her things on one of the beds. Pulling out a light summer scarf with animal doodles on it, she playfully threw it around their neck as if to make a point.
"So, how are you guys, looking forward to summer camp?"
"I'm running a booth—a design booth," she said to underscore her point, "You all should come." After all who could resist shiny fabrics and buttons and things?

Avis gave Mylo an amused shake of her head at his answer to her question of daydream enchantments. Just like Mylo. Always so literal. She chuckled at the thought but stopped short when a familiar voice chimed in.
"Maisie!" she exclaimed as her friend approached, adding to the dream conversation. Avis' blue eyes lit up with joy as she realized both of her two closest friends were back where they belonged: standing right next to her. It had been a long summer without them, longer than she'd like to admit and although she'd been in good company with her siblings and her friends from back home, it was good to get away from the heavy situation her father's disappearance had brought.
The girl laughed at Maisie's suggestion of "Coach Mylo" but knew the prefect had been quite helpful in helping her best friend with duelling in the past months. Maybe she'd adopt the nickname as well.
Before she could chime in, another voice echoed across the serene inside of the tent and Avis glanced up to see an older girl approaching, a fluffy gray cat in tow. The Ravenclaw gave her a warm smile. This must be their fourth roommate, the one Mylo had told them about before arriving.
"Avis. Avis Greymond," she replied, reaching out and giving the cat a gentle scratch under her chin. "I'd have brought Quigley but he's insane so..."
She gave Maisie a sidelong glance when she mentioned her bunny. The poor thing had been terrorized by her own cat all school year. It was probably for the best that neither of their pets were here.
"It is beautiful!" she agreed, nodding along with Rose's comment and taking another glance around the tent. Avis turned at Mylo's question. "Definitely. Mostly just excited for the food," Avis admitted as her stomach let out a convenient rumble. She grimaced in embarrassment and realized she hadn't eaten since she stepped off the train earlier that day. Perhaps it was time to go find something.
Avis ignored her stomach for the time being and gave Maisie a smile. "I'll definitely be there but my creativity is pretty limited so you'll probably have to help me with whatever you've got planned," she joked.
As the group chatted, Avis leaned back and studied each person with a faint smile. Perhaps this summer wouldn't be a complete rainstorm after all.
