The House Cup

Congratulations to House Gryffindor for earning this month's House Cup. It was an impressively close fight between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw and despite Ravenclaw's recent Quidditch victory earning them a few extra points, they were not able to maintain the House Cup. There has been an incredible amount of homework completed, a great deal of community service in the form of voting for us on Top RP websites as well as the fact that we have been maintaining the second spot on the Top RP Websites forum which attracts new members to our community and continues to help us grow.
You have earned your prize -- early access for the month of November to the component acquisition system. The Potions System is still under development so expect to see updates regarding this system over the next few weeks.
Great job everyone!

The House Cup

Congratulations to House Gryffindor for earning this month's House Cup. This would be the second month in a row that Gryffindor has earned the House Cup. There has been an incredible amount of homework completed, a great deal of community service in the form of voting for us on Top RP Websites which is a site that helps us draw in new members and continues to help us grow.
Last month House Gryffindor earned early access to the component acquisition system for the release of the Potions System. Due to the lack of use of the system, it has been determined that system is not as engaging as we would like for players so we wanted something more engaging for the House Cup winners this month. For that reason, House Gryffindor is going to go on a small adventure. Please note, things go wrong (very wrong) in adventures so the premise that gets your character there is not going to be the actual event. Please keep an eye on the Bulletin Board in your House Common Room for more details over the next few days.
Great job everyone!

The House Cup

Congratulations to House Gryffindor for earning the final House Cup of the year. This would be the third month in a row that Gryffindor has earned the House Cup. There has been an incredible amount of homework completed, a great deal of community service in the form of voting for us on Top RP Websites which is a site that helps us draw in new members and continues to help us grow.
In November House Gryffindor earned early access to the component acquisition system for the release of the Potions System. Due to the lack of use of the system, it has been determined that system is not as engaging as we would like for players so we wanted something more engaging for the House Cup winners the next. For that reason, House Gryffindor was involved in the main story, they have discovered 2 troubling things:
- Harry Potter (yes, the Harry Potter) was found guilty of murdering Dolores Umbridge. Something many forgot about as a media blackout muted information regarding this case for the last year. While a seemingly futile effort, something was 'off' about the Common Room in Gryffindor, the place where Potter was arrested. Apparently Harry Potter never left the common room during the time of the murder. Also, it would appear as if someone has left the students with some clues.
- Headmaster Lear is missing. There is signs of a break-in. The Headmaster Portraits are missing. All of his pet pygmy puffs (Gregs) are dead. Is he running because he has done something terrible or has something terrible happened to the Headmaster?
Great job everyone!

The House Cup

Congratulations to House Slytherin for earning the first House Cup of the year. This victory broke Gryffindor's multi-month winning streak. There was an incredibly amount of voting for us on Top RP Websites, a site that helps us draw in new members and helps us continue to grow as well as homework being done which has made the House a formidable force.
In December and January, House Gryffindor investigated the murder of Dolores Umbridge. They believe that Harry Potter is innocent of this crime and that there is a great conspiracy that is ongoing. However, that is not the only strange thing happening in Hogwarts, there is an evil influence in the dungeons of Hogwarts that Slytherin (and the top three points earners) will soon discover and be forced to investigate (or die).
Great job everyone!

The House Cup

Congratulations to House Slytherin for earning the House Cup for the second month in a row. Slytherin had also earned the first House Cup of the year, breaking Gryffindor's multi-month winning streak. There was an incredible amount of voting for us on Top RP Websites, a site that helps us draw in new members and helps us continue to grow as well as homework being done which has made the House a formidable force. Participation in errands, the continued efforts on their homework and their support on Top RP sites might be all that is needed to make it three months in a row if the other Houses are unprepared.
In December and January, House Gryffindor investigated the murder of Dolores Umbridge. They believe that Harry Potter is innocent of this crime and that there is a great conspiracy that is ongoing. However, that is not the only strange thing happening in Hogwarts, there is an evil influence in the dungeons of Hogwarts that Slytherin. In February they were attacked by strange shadowy spiders and are presently seeking treatment in the Medical Wing for their injuries. This month there are two adventures - the top point earners from last month were unable to participate in the adventure because the anticipated adventure went a different direction so they are participating with this month's top point earners in a Hospital Thread that is dealing with the Candy King (Galton Lansdale) and the auror August VanCleaf. As for House Slytherin, their Head of House Jensen is now present (soon to post) in the aftermath of the present adventure so they are not able to extract answers from two suspicious Slytherin students: Marion Davenport and Victor Moore. They will be given an opportunity as a house to corner/question one or both of these Slytherin students and hopefully get some answers.
Great job everyone!

The House Cup

With record-breaking point totals, Hufflepuff has taken the House cup for the month of March for the first time in over a year with 980 points. The last time they had earned the House Cup was Oct. 2018. This was achieved through a great deal of homework assignments and voting on top RP Websites. These hyperactive badgers have earned an unprecedented number of points, the previous record for top points earned was Ravenclaw in July 2018 when they earned 951 points. As such, these impressive students will be enjoying an adventure in their common room that will be starting in a few days.
In addition, congratulations to our top points earners for this month: Aaron Jones with 87 points, Sean Hearth 85 points and Atlas Reid with 77 points. All three of the top earners are Hufflepuffs. These three Hufflepuffs in addition to a few other high earners will be contacted in the next few days with an event of a different sort that will influence the progression of the Main Story.

The House Cup

With record-breaking point totals, Ravenclaw has taken the House cup for the month of April for the first time since September with 1372 points. Admittedly both Gryffindor and Hufflepuff also smashed the previous record this month in a display of academic combat that has not only stressed out but exhausted their Professors. This was achieved through a great deal of homework assignments and voting on top RP Websites as well as a lack of life outside of academia. These studious birds have earned an unprecedented number of points, the previous record for top points earned was Hufflepuff last month when they broke Ravenclaw's previous record. As such, these impressive students will be enjoying an adventure someplace none of them have been before...
In addition, congratulations to our top points earners for this month, masochists each and every one of them. Aida Mòrsgor-Ama Ellwood from House Ravenclaw with 134 points has our new record for most points earned in a single month. This is followed by Alexander Varellion from Slytherin who matched the previous single player record for points earned in a month, having earned 119 but sounded very much like a Ravenclaw mourning anything less than an O. And Celynne Gray, another Ravenclaw who earned 108 points this month. These high earners will now have to die so that the Professors can have a break from grading so I will be taking them on a murder adventure involving the Main Story.

The House Cup

With record-breaking point totals, Slytherin has taken the House cup for the month of May, surpassing Ravenclaw's record-breaking win of 1372 points the month before. The new record being 1382 points. Admittedly Ravenclaw almost beat their previous record this past month, had they only earned 2 more points. They earned 1371 points this past month, but that was not enough. This was achieved through a great deal of homework assignments and voting on top RP Websites as well as a lack of life outside of academia. These studious snakes have earned an unprecedented number of points.
Due to the masochism of these children, we are going something a little different this month. Please refer to this thread for your 'adventure'. Next month the HOH Team has decided to give me a break while they hunt for hags and the children are safe in other parts of the world, next month players will be getting brooms and galleons for their victory which is still a powerful driving force for some students.
In addition, congratulations to our top points earners for this month, masochists each and every one of them. Nico Shymane from House Slytherin earned the top spot and presently holds the top record for points earned in a single month, having earned 169 House Points.
Her friends might kill me if I kill her, so I can only make her cry. Dealla Prince from House Ravenclaw earned an appreciable 141 House Points which also beat the former record for most House Points earned. The two of them can share a record for the most stress to the Professor Group in a given month. has our new record for most points earned in a single month. This is followed by Maria Dee from House Hufflepuff earned 128 House Points this past month.
Because of this, Maria and Dealla are invited to the event thread for House Slytherin. This will test something interesting and give a bit of story considering who is involved. so... not my usual murder thread.
As for the three top earners getting something 'special' - they are going to be sneaking out for a bit of... shopping? I must have lost my touch, seems like shopping. Good luck. Don't die.

The House Cup

[quote]With record-breaking point totals, Ravenclaw has taken the House Cup for the month of June, taking back their former record. The previous record being 1382 points. Ravenclaw beat the old record by nearly 200 points. The new record being 1568 points. Admittedly Hufflepuff also beat Slytherin's old record this past month, having earned 1477 points. That was not enough to secure them the win. This was achieved through a great deal of homework assignments and voting on top RP Websites as well as adhering to the book worm trope that their house represents. These studious eagles have earned an unprecedented number of points.
The reward for this month was brooms and galleons towards brooms. This may be used to potentially arm Durmstrang, Hogwarts rival on the Quidditch Pitch! This will likely be an exciting game.
In addition, congratulations to our top points earners for this month. It was completely mad seeing them work as hard as they did. Jake Morris from House Hufflepuff earned the top spot and presently holds the top record for points earned in a single month, having earned 193 House Points. The hardest working badger... sadly it was not enough to secure the house the win, but he earned himself a new broom of choice so we look forward to seeing him make use of it. Alan Vanes from House Gryffindor earned an appreciable 129 House Points. This is followed by Mars T'ien from House Ravenclaw earned 117 House Points his second month on the site. Take about starting the game running!
The winners from last month will be kept busy with some adventuring during the summer to move the main story along as previously announced. The winners from this month are armed with nifty new brooms and will hopefully enjoy the Quidditch Game. Next month, winners will be getting pets (the top three) and the players that contributed 17 or more points to the WINNING House will get 5 galleons to potentially invest in their pet.
Good luck!

The House Cup

Entering school this September, Slytherin is starting off the school year right. Over the summer they engaged in a number of extracurricular activities and have earned points for their house. Their hard work has caught the eyes of the Professors, several of the Professors (unnamed to save from godmodding) have reached out to the Slytherin students to see if they would be interested in representing Hogwarts this fall in a broom race.
Broom Racing is a sport that fell out of popularity in the UK several years ago but it is in the process of a revitalization. Beauxbatons Academy of Magic is well known for their skill on the broom stick, however we know that our Hogwarts students are naturals at everything that they do and that they can really give Beauxbatons a race that they will never forget. Arriving with Beauxbatons Academy of Magic this year is Ilvermorny as well as Durmstrang, also interested in getting racing teams up and running once again in their schools they will be participating in this race.
Hogwarts will be watching the student body over the next month for another exemplary house to participate in this race late fall. [Next month reward will be the same.]
Slytherin earned 1097 points this month, followed closely behind by Ravenclaw with 1017 points and trailed behind by Hufflepuff with 797 points and finally Gryffindor with 791 points. Every house should be applauded for their off-season hard work!
In addition, the top earning students for Hogwarts will be offered the oppertunity to throw an event that involves all four schools -- a school dance. The top earners include:
○ @Jackson Lockwood
○ @Dealla Prince
○ @Ileen Knight
○ @Pericles Dralt
○ @Flash Holmwood
○ @Rish Sen
They will be receiving an owl as well as changed site accesses in the coming hours. We look forward to seeing what they can do.
