──────────────────────────── APPEARANCE Reducio Standing at 4 ft 9 in (145 cm), Yexian has a slim and slender body. She has fair, pale white skin and blue-grey eyes like the sea after a violent storm. She has short, straight black hair with airy curtain bangs. ──────────────────────────── PERSONALITY Reducio Wei Yexian has a cold and icy personality. Living with people who always take advantage of others, she quickly learned not to trust anyone and not to show her weakness or sadness to anyone. Since birth, Yexian hasn't smiled much. In fact, she barely smiles even when she's very happy. She's loyal, trustworthy, and quiet. ──────────────────────────── HISTORY Reducio Wei Yexian is the oldest (and firstborn) daughter and the very first grandchild in her family (from both her mother's and father's sides). She is very quiet and obedient; she never made any of her family members tired or angry. Since her birth, if any member of the family, especially her mother, told her not to do something, she wouldn't do it and wouldn’t repeat it ever again. She has also been very disciplined since birth; if it was time to sleep, she would be asleep before anyone even told her. Even though her parents are purebloods and always busy (they work in the Ministry of Magic), they gave her all the care and love she needed; they tried their best to support her in every aspect of life; therefore, she lived a very calm and beautiful childhood.   Since she was an introvert since birth, she was always quiet and always preferred to be alone; therefore, she never had any friends. She couldn't even bond with her cousins, as they are either very noisy or too extroverted for her taste. Her parents always tried to help her make friends, but she never agreed. They decided to respect her choice, and when she asked them if it was possible to get her a bunny to play with, they got excited and got her the bunny almost at the same instant. They were really happy that she can finally talk to someone or… something in this case.   At home, her parents and grandparents always taught her new things, from potions to writing and calculating. This made her love potions and read more things about it. Since she is a pureblood, she has always known about magic, and her family always told her stories about their experiences at Hogwarts. In her free time, she would always stay in her room, either reading a book or looking out the window. She would also practise the violin, creating new music that fits her taste. ──────────────────────────── FIOM Reducio It is 2019; Yexian’s mother, Lu Hua, is pregnant. They are expecting a baby soon. Her mother took a small vacation to not tire herself and focus on her health while also sitting with Yexian more. One day, late at night, the family were chilling together. Kids were playing in the living room of the mansion, as it is very cold outside. Yexian, on the other hand, was in her room, practising her violin while facing towards the window to look at the beautiful mist painting it. She suddenly heard a loud noise, almost like a bang. She would normally shift her focus back to practising as she got used to hearing her cousins, aunts, uncles and family in general shout and raise their voices. This time, however, Yexian felt something was off. Yes, the kids did shout regularly, but not like that... This time, it sounded like a shout for help, as if they were terrified. Soon she couldn’t ignore it anymore, especially when she heard the adults of the family shouting words she recognised. Spells – these were the spells her grandparents taught her how to pronounce. She got both worried and curious; therefore, she decided to go downstairs to her room and check what happened. When she reached there, she was shocked. Standing in the middle of a very huge crowd of people she knew and people she had never seen. Her curiosity turned into worry as she started to call her mother multiple times. After she found her, her mother asked her why she came down; she ordered her to take the kids and go upstairs, as the situation was serious, while she herself was covering Yexian, trying to hide her from the eyes of the invaders. Yexian hesitated for a while after finally deciding to take all the kids back to their rooms; however, the boss of the invaders was faster. He caught Yexian and shifted his wand towards her, threatening the family to not make a move or else he’ll cast a forbidden spell. Everyone froze, even the children who hated her; her mother was almost going to stop breathing for her daughter. After a moment of silence, Yexian’s grandfather cast Expelliarmus and disarmed the entire group. After being disarmed, Yexian fell to the ground but was able to land on her feet, preventing injuries. Yexian’s mother extended her arm to catch Yexian again and take her back to her room to protect her from these strangers. Unfortunately for her, the boss again acted quickly and held Yexian while leaving the mansion. The family members followed and tried to stop them by casting spells. The Wei Mansion was located in a forest, near a very high cliff; anyone who tried to jump there was found dead no matter what spell they used. The boss went to the edge of the cliff and held Yexian tighter, indicating that he was about to throw her. The family, clearly knowing of the consequences, almost begged them to leave her; they even offered to pay the invaders whatever amount they wanted. The boss was laughing; he then looked at Yexian and almost had a heart attack. She was staring at him, not in awe or in shock, but giving him a death stare. If looks could kill, her stare would've murdered him more than a hundred times. She was giving him a death stare that deadly, not for holding her like that, but because he hurt her parents. The boss stopped laughing after his lifeline flashed before his eyes. ‘How is that a kid? She is 5 years old and stares right into the soul?? ‘Is she Satan or??’ he thought before he shook his head, looked at the family, and laughed again while throwing her. He then left with his gang while laughing uncontrollably. Yexian’s mother broke down in tears. She wanted to kill that man instantly. The family was more shocked than sad and angry. ‘Wasn’t she just thrown off a high cliff? How the hell didn’t she scream, cry or even say a word? All she did was stare into his soul…” Then they felt guilty for Yexian’s mother. Lu Hua has lost her first child… her first daughter and her second love. Yexian’s father, Ming Yu, stood up after supporting and trying to comfort his wife; he looked at his brother, and they both nodded. “Love, I promise, I will come back holding her in my arms…” he said in a sad but assuring tone. His wife didn’t want him to also disappear along with her child, but she couldn’t say a word; her voice was gone. Yexian’s father went with his brother, Zi An, and went down slowly from the side of that cliff. After 2 days of searching, they found Yexian sitting on a small branch, shivering slightly while staring at the sky painted with dark shades of grey and black clouds. The men were stunned. Yeah, thank god she didn’t die, but how? Putting the thought aside, he called her and hugged her tightly; she hugged back tighter to warm herself. He then took off his jacket immediately and put it on her while carrying her on his back, the way she liked, piggyback. She finally felt warmth after 2 days. They carried her back, and as soon as they entered the quiet mansion, her mother stood up, ran to them, hugged her daughter tightly while touching her face, and whisper-talked. “A-are you okay?”  Her hands touching Yexian’s body and face to check for any bone breaks or signs of injuries, she noticed a small scratch under her eye, but it was okay; the scratch was small and obviously curable. She once again hugged Yexian tightly; Yexian then felt another familiar warmth around her. Her father was now on his knees, hugging both the mother and her. For a week they kept celebrating when one of the kids asked, “How is she alive? Isn't it said that every person that is thrown there dies??”  Some kids were frustrated that she was back. This is when the family realised. ‘She was thrown, and all she had was a small bruise under her eye that could be healed instantly? She survived the cold and darkness for 2 whole days...’ Her father’s face calmed down; he smiled slightly. “Accidental magic” he pointed out. The family was very happy, but now… Something in Yexian changed.. she wasn’t just the calm, polite and introverted girl; she had lost trust in everyone other than her parents and uncle who helped rescue her. She used to talk to her grandparents and family members; however, now, she is silent. She would stay in her room even more than before. Her tutors, grandparents, parents and even the uncle who is teaching her how to play the violin have to go to her room to teach her. She even became way more strict. It was noticeable; everyone noticed it. They all noticed how extra introverted and extra quiet she became. They noticed how she wouldn’t even eat with them in the dining hall; the house elf had to bring her the food to her room. ────────────────────────────

Later on, he didn’t like her at all and would often try to embarrass her parents -especially her mother. He likes all the other children unconditionally. He doesn’t talk much to Yexian.

Blood Status: Pureblood. Age: 55 years old. Reducio She liked Yexian too and would often spoil her as much as possible. Yexian was her favourite grandchild until she slowly started to get affected by her husband’s talk when they are alone and she eventually didn’t have a favourite grandchild anymore as she lost interest in Yexian and the others were noisy. Of course, when Yuan was born, he became her favourite as he was the first male baby from her favourite son, and he wasn’t noisy and was very obedient. Which is exactly what she wanted, someone to be between the obedience of Yexian and the extrovertism of the other kids.

He really dislikes how some members of his family treat her; however, all his trials of convincing them to treat her well went in vain.

However, he didn’t see her as much after her birth as he was a business owner and had to travel a lot for his work. Even though he visited multiple times, Yexian doesn’t really remember him as the last time she saw him was when Yuan (her brother) turned 2 years old. He is a little less strict than the Wei’s. He didn’t really care about the firstborn’s gender or whether they were an introvert or not, as long as their personality allowed them to be successful. However, he did care what house she was placed in because the Wang tradition states that “The successor of the Wang family has to be the firstborn and must be placed in Slytherin, no matter their gender and personality.”

Blood Status: Pureblood. Age: 56 years old. Reducio Her situation is very similar to her husband. She really likes Yexian but havent seen her much as she also has her own business that requires her to travel a lot. The last time she saw Yexian was when Yuan turned 4 years old. Unlike her husband, she visited her daughter more times when both Yexian and Yuan were born to help her with them. She also didn’t care about the successor’s gender as what is important is the house. But she had a different view on the personality. For her, the successor MUST be an extrovert as they are more social and can create more relationships, which means they are more successful.

She doesn’t really get the hate from her husband’s family, but she knows that her own family won't really like Yexian when they know which house she got placed in, and she knows her mother won't like her even more because she is an introvert; therefore, she dares not ask them. She gets mocked by her youngest sister-in-law a lot. However, her eldest sister-in-law is as sweet as honey to both her and her daughter. Due to that, she prefers Yilin way more than any other member of that family. She also gets mocked by her youngest brother-in-law, but she is very grateful to her eldest brother-in-law for helping out Yexian even tho his family doesn’t like that. She appreciates having 2 in-laws that love her daughter and respect her.
