Why is pineapple on Pizza even a thing? It's called Hawaiian pizza, however it was nor developed in Hawaiia, but in Ontario Canada in 1962.

Hmm… cold toppings on warm pizza is atrocious, canned toppings are atrocious, and warm pineapple is atrocious. The flavors aren’t terrible, but I’m just not sure how they’d work together properly.

Mmm I love pineapple on pizza... the mix of juicy sweet and savoury is *chefs kiss*. Hot fruit isn't totally common (I'm guessing), but a few other dishes do it too. Sweet and sour pork cooks pineapples, and in the Philippines they cook plantains or bananas wrapped in spring roll wrap, fry it in a pan, and coated with brown sugar (it's called Turon). Sooooo yummy and fragrant.
