Veda nodded in agreement. She did have a point, after all. "Although, I bet they will." she said. "It would be unusual if they didn't. They seemed nice, and it would be out of pocket if they randomly turned on her due to her condition."

She thought about Tori's next comment. Veda never really thought about it, but the more she put herself out there and talked to people, the more she connected and grew with them. She never was the one to be vulnerable, Veda would rather curl up and cut everyone off. But, she supposed it might have some benefits.

Veda smiled at the older girls comment. "Hey! I made a new friend at least." she thought. Being open and sharing her emotions was scary, but at least it was rewarding.

Veda laughed at Victoria's attempt to look like her. "Close! Better than I could do. I'm not even going to try. I couldn't do half of that, but I guess your right. I can't do everything as a first year. I need to wait, and be patient." she said, still giggling.

Veda then remembered where she was, and what time it was. "Oh crap! I still have class. I bet my teacher will be wondering where I am. Thank you so much for helping me, really. We should study together sometime!" she said, grabbing her things.

"People are really weird."

She spoke thoughtfully as he said this. She still hadn't figured out some people. Sometimes people were very loving and understanding, but some were very rude. Even after three years, Tori still didn't understand.

"I think you'll do better than me when you grow up. I believe that. And with all my heart"

Her eyes lit up as she said this. She believed it. At that moment, Tori remembered that she had class. She didn't normally want to go, but she didn't want to get into trouble with her homework. Tori was pulled out of her thoughts when Veda spoke.

"You're welcome. Have fun with your studies. If you want to find me, I'm at the Great Lake, I hang out in the rehearsal room or the library more. Nice to meet you again."

After the Hufflepuff girl left the bathroom, Tori tried to fix her red hair, which was now in a mess, but it didn't work. It looked good in her hair, but now wasn't the time for it. She put the mirror in her bag and left the girls' bathroom. Tori was really happy to make a new friend. She hope they would meet again soon.
