Simon can’t go to summer camp because he’s gotta visit his father at the end of summer and try to end a betrothal and ensure that AngelFyre is safe. His father wants to marry him off to a vampire in his coven and has threatened his former girlfriend’s safety over the matter.

What Simon doesn’t know is that this is the summer that all the vampires in his father’s coven, his father included, will meet their end.

Lillian probably won't be going to summer camp because she is too shy. Claire is going, however.

Ellie isn't going due to her grandma dying (something I need to post soon...) but summer will be there with haru and Jarden
