Meeting in the office.

PV with @Solomon Lear and @Linsdey Bush.

May just finished class, when she wanted to go to the Hufflepuff common room. Something was wrong. Too many stairs! Her legs were trembling, and she was tired . She wanted to arive to the common room, and sleep in her bed. When there wasn't any more stairs, she was lost. She couldn't see the little wooden door. Then, she Heard voices. Deep voices were in the corridor. May hided behind a waiting couch.

The voices went out of the room, when she saw the headmaster, talking with someone. It seemed familiar. Like a Hufflepuff voice. It was the girl she just met! The girl with the glasses! Well, there were a lot of girls with glasses, but...Anyways! May was behind the couch, with all her books, ink and drawing pad. She couldn't talk. It was too late to be wandering out of the common room. It was sure that the common room was alredy locked up. At this hour. She looked at her Muggle whatch. It was 7:30! Too late to be true! And, she was wondering, what in Marlin's beard was Linsdey doing there?! At this time?! She waited patiently for Linsdey to finish her meeting with the headmaster, to tell her what happened.

Meeting in the office.
Actually, the scene was not what one would expect at all. Logically, that would have been how this should have went. A talkative sorting hat, an office filled almost hazardously so with pygmy puffskeins all named Greg and a Headmaster sitting behind his station tending to a pile of papers that seemingly had little or no use. However, that was not what the young girl would see in Solomon's office at all.

First, the door was close. In fact the door was locked, but not locked very well. The knob would refuse to turn but the inward pressure of a hand would tell a different story as the door was easily pushed open. The weight of the door the only burden truly, the bar would not catch the frame. Why? Well, it would appear that the frame was broken. As the door was pushed open, the wood would sag as if it had been in disrepair for decades rather than a few short hours or days.

Inside the room, it appeared neat. Incredibly neat. But also wrong for anyone who might have known the Headmaster. The walls were bare, the enduring witnesses to all that went on in this office had been placed somewhere else. The herd of fluffy guardians that infested the bookshelves, corners and furniture appeared to also be absent. Finally the hat was no where to be found. That tattered sentient hat resided on the very top shelf for most of the year, but seemingly not today.

The desk was clear of clutter. The ink was sealed and a quill rested in its holder. Everything appeared to be in perfect order, as if the former Professor tidied up right before he left.

Meeting in the office.
May saw that the girl was just a fiction of her imagination. ''Or maybe it was a ghost'' she thought. But, where was the common room again? ''Oh how I hate being new!'' she thought. Being new was very bothering. But you have to be new to enter a school. Before the end there's always a beggining .

She would HAVE to do something! She couldn't stay there all night. She would have to at least find a riendly ghost to lead her the way. But, no ghost's around...The only persons in the astronomy tower were teachers. The headmaster, Solom Lear, and the Astronomy teacher. But she was in the headmaster's office! So, that would mean detension. Or even worse, expulsion! Expulsed from school… She Will have to tell Professor Lear. She was a Hufflepuff.she wold have to tell the truth someday.

May inhaled and exhaled. now she made a clear asnd only decision. She was going to get out of her hiding place and comfront the consecuences. She got out of her hiding place. The surprised look on the Professor's face was understanding. She was in trouble. ''Can I help you with something May?'' said the Professor, ''you seem lost''.

Meeting in the office.
The Professor was still totally not here. Neither was the Headmaster. The office was empty of people, of paintings and of pygmy puffskeins. This was not the expected setting of a headmaster's office, it looked like a moving crew had come and partially packed the room. The sorting hat was gone from his perch. The paintings had been taken from the walls. The desk was neat and clean, it did not appear as if there was anything actively in the process of being reviewed.
A quick reminder: godmodding [click for definition] is against the rules on Hogwarts.io. You cannot control another player (this includes the staff).
She must have hallucinated the voice that she heard because the Headmaster was not there, nor was the Astronomy Professor @Alaric Equinox there. This was not the scene or the interaction she expected or conceivably wanted but it was the one she got. An abandoned office with a damaged door frame and without any of the office's known residents. Sometimes places are simply lonely-feeling, much like this office that was isolated from the rest of the castle. A place that she had no reason to wander into, but through an act of deviance or idle curiosity she found herself here.

Something was wrong. Of course that was the thing about places such as this and reclusive people such as Headmaster Lear. If you disappear, it takes awhile for anyone to miss you. The hearth was cold. The air was stale but did not stink. The space was lonesome and bereft of warmth, but hardly like a scene out of a horror movie. The space was not sterile, just forgotten.

Meeting in the office.
May was shoked. Was this all a figment of her imagination? Could it be? She had to prove it, so she said, in a trembling voice, ''H-Hello? Headmaster Lear? Anyone?''
May was scared, for, she was lost in the biggest castle she could imagine, and, if it could turn even worse, in the Headmasters office without anyone knowing. She quickly looked at the walls. She had read, in Hogwarts a History, that there were lots of painting in the walls, of wizards and witches. But none of them were there. She had read, too, that the Sorting hat, was there too, clearly visible, but, at May's view, the hat wasn't there. ''I must have hallucinated. Oh, I clearly need some sleep'' She said to herself. ''Something is wrong here, terribly wrong.'' where was the headmaster? Was anyone even there in the castle? Maybe it was only the students...But, clearly the castle was very quiet. What was happening? She called out lots of times for the headmaster, or even the legendary Pygmy Puff pet of the Headmaster. The sorting hat too, obviously. She couldn't bear, being alone there. She prefered a detention than that. One thing was sure, something was terribly wrong.
