interacting with @Santario Martin & @Griseldis EdelhardtAlan stared at the new girl and tilted his head. There was another Alan? It would be so fun to actually meet that person... Alan smiled slightly, holding back the grin of amusement as he felt a bit awkward to be this silly around the new kid. Alan nodded at her added words, not sure how else to react to it. He had no idea who she was and while she looked familiar, he would have not known they were in the same team at the dodgeball game! There were only a couple of students he knew or actually recognized at the game and if he was being honest he did not mind at all. He kew they were Gryffindors based on the scarfs they would wear. That was reason enough to protect them within the games. "Yeah, the start of a challenge is always the most difficult", he muttered, hoping that would cheer her up a bit? He had no idea what else to say, which is why he looked over to Santario, hoping she knew better how interaction actually works. Then again Alan had to learn about interaction since he had attended a lot of official meetings already, maybe he should have paid more attention to those classes.
He peeked at the envelope in Santario's hands as she gave it to hi and he was nearly tempted to rip it open right there and then, just to look at the pictures all over again! He shook his head, scolding himself inwardly before he placed the envelope next to his mug on the table. He looked up, when the girl mentioned another friend, "Really? Who?", he asked curiously, even though the name would probably ring no bells anyway.

Griseldis agreed with Alan, "True, it wasn't an easy challenge, especially when we were allowed to use our wands to cast spells at each other and not just throwing balls." She took another sip from her hot chocolate, still tasted sweet and warm. "I understand you might not remember me, but I remember you very clearly, you were the one who tried to protect Kyle from getting hit by a ball and cast an advance spell I haven't learn it yet. You were quite brave, I respect that." Griseldis gave him a proud smile as if she was really proud of her own Housemate being a courageous lion. But then she slightly noticed how the older Gryffindor shifted his gaze towards her Slytherin friend San. Perhaps he wasn't really used to interact with strangers? Kinda like the other Alan she knew, he would often have an awkward smile on his face when he was around people he wasn't familiar with. So Griseldis would be patient about it and knew that it would take some time to get to know each other better.Interacting with @Alan Vanes @Santario Martin
She also turned to look at San, when she mentioned that she made another new friend it intrigued her. "Oh, that's lovely! Glad you made a new friend, San. I had to be honest with you though...I'm a bit tired these days, had a lot of Prefect duties to do lately and I was asked by our Head of House Professor Pendrast to help Alex patrolling his areas because he suddenly had something very important to do." Speaking of Alex, Griseldis was very surprised that the third year Gryffindor with those enchanting emerald green eyes she met on that rainy day would become one of her fellow Prefects. Well, it wasn't a bad thing, just didn't really expect it. They worked together for a while now and she did slowly notice that Alex has an unusual charisma that could easily charm many people.
Griseldis drank the rest of her hot chocolate empty then gently placed her mug on the table, she was also curious like Alan and wanted to know who San's new friend was, "I wanted to know who your new friend is too, San. So who is he or she?"

Santario had to stop herself from rolling her eyes when Gris mentioned Alex. How did that boy become a prefect? Were they getting short on Gryffindor boys who could fill the position? They couldn’t truly be desperate enough to pick the boy who had dropped Gris from five feet in the air instead of levitating her simply back towards the ground… However, they had, so maybe he wasn’t as much of a moron as he had made himself look the first time they had met. She doubted she would have the opportunity to find out for herself, but then again, she also didn’t care that boy was no longer of any consequence to her.
She had to help him do his duties because he was too busy? “Well, this is why you are a great Prefect Gris.” She would say with a small smile before taking another drink of her cocoa. They both asked her about her new friend and that brought a real smile to her face the kind that touched her sapphire eyes and seemed to make them sparkle a little under the light. “His name is Erik, Erik Tharaldson. He is a second-year Slytherin .” He had actually helped her think through some things even though it seemed like their conversation had gotten nowhere in the beginning mentally it had allowed her to cross boundaries.
“Oh, Alan! I meant to ask before, but how are your flying lessons going?” For a moment she had forgotten that asking about his flying lessons probably also meant bringing up Kyle, but for now, it was a relatively safe topic. She would busy herself with finishing off her hot cocoa while she waited for his answer.

interacting with @Santario Martin & @Griseldis EdelhardtA faint tint of red colored Alan's cheeks as embarrassment and insecurity made its way into his eyes. "W-well sure I tried of course, but it did not really work so I don't think you should think that highly of me!", he humbly said, shaking his head slightly. He had failed in his attempt to help his team and the spell had not even worked in the way he had intended it to work out, so none of his plans actually had worked out in the end. He wondered why the girl was still so impressed by what he did. "I am sure you will master this spell soon enough, you seem like a very capable witch yourself…", he awkwardly complimented her back, hoping that the sound of his voice was somewhat stable.
Erik Theraldson. Alan heard the name and tried to remember the name. He wondered who that friend of her was, but then again was just happy for her. When Santario asked about his flying lessons, Alan cringed slightly at the thought how the meeting went. However it was her friend they were talking about, so Alan did not want her to think badly off him. Then again Alan did not want to lie to his friend either so he just stared at her, lips slightly parted as if to start talking, but he had no idea how to start. He decided to go with a "... I decided to learn on my own… since… well since it did not really go well with-", an insecure glance over to Griseldis, before looking over to San again,"You know who I am talking about…", he muttered avoiding her gaze as suddenly the tablecloth looked surprisingly interesting. He did not really want to talk about this in front of the other girl, he barely knew her.

Griseldis noticed immediately that there was a faint of red appeared on Alan's cheeks as if he was very embarrassed by her words. He really reminded her so much of the other Alan she knew who also could get easily embarrassed when someone compliments him. This Gryffindor Alan and the Ravenclaw Alan seemed to have a similar shy personality. Griseldis thought to herself. Maybe if they have the chance to meet, they might get along well. Who knows? Then Alan complimented her back, saying that soon she would learn the spell quite well and that he believed she is a capable witch. "That's really nice of you to say, Alan, thank you! But no matter what, I still need to continue to improve myself at many things." She said with confidence in her voice to the older Gryffindor. San also said that she was a great Prefect after she told her that she had to help Alex to patrol his areas, which brought a huge grin to her face, "Well, I still have a lot to learn as a Prefect." She replied back with modesty.Interacting with @Alan Vanes @Santario Martin
When both Gryffindors asked the Slytherin who her new friend was, San seemed to be quite happy to tell them that it was another Slytherin boy named Erik Tharaldson. Griseldis didn't really meet a lot of Slytherins or even be friends with one of them during her first year in Hogwarts, so she wasn't familiar with the name at all even when they were the same year. But if he was a friend of San, she had no doubt that this Erik should be a good person. "That's wonderful, San! I had no doubt he must be a good person to be your friend, I would like to meet him one day." Griseldis replied to her cheerfully.
But when San asked Alan about his Flying class, Griseldis noticed his expression didn't seem to be comfortable with the topic San brought up. He even gave her a quick insecure look then back to San. Oh... Griseldis slowly realized that Alan wasn't really comfortable to say something private in front of her because to him, she was still a stranger. Griseldis been around people who were very cautious or not open to people they had yet to warm up to, so she completely understood the current situation that maybe it was best for her to leave them alone to talk for now. "Alright, I already had my warm cup of delicious hot chocolate and it's time for me to go back to my dorm room." Griseldis turned to look at Alan with a friendly smile, "It was super nice to meet you Alan and I hope we can talk more next time." With that being said, she stood up from her seat and prepared to leave the Great Hall. "San, Alan, thanks for the nice chat. I wish you a good night."

OOC: Sorry for the super late reply. Also, I need to add a note about Gris's habit, if she notices someone being uncomfortable around her, she would leave them alone but she did this out of respect and not because she thinks the person being odd or anything.

Santario’s heart hit her stomach when Alan said that he decided to learn on his own, but her face remained passive. She was worried that who he had gone to had hurt him, but he didn’t seem hurt… Hopefully, it was just words and nothing physical, but she could tell Alan was uncomfortable with the way that he had glanced at Gris. Santario would take the nonverbal hint and not bring it up anymore. That also was when Gris was announcing her departure that was quick just to come here for one cup of cocoa. “Oh, okay, Gris, well, I think you are more than welcome to stay if you wanted to, but either way, it was nice to talk to you again.” She smiled up at Gris before looking over at Alan.
“I am really excited for winter break! I know it is a bit off, but I really can’t wait to see my family again. I know we have not really been gone that long but still. What about you guys?” Santario changed the subject and included Gris into the question in case she had decided to stay. Getting used to being away from her parents was something she knew she would eventually get used to but right now it was, still hard especially after her last falling out. All she wanted to do was talk to her parents about it.

The third year stared at the other Gryffindor when she suddenly decided to announce her leave. He paid it no second thought as to why she was leaving as for him there was no reason to worry. Students entered and left the Great Hall as they pleased especially once they were done dining and having their cup of whatever beverage they preferred. Alan probably drank too much of the hot chocolate and fruit juices they had and way too little of what was actually healthy for him. But who would opt for something like sugar-free tea, when there was a delicious hot chocolate in jug right across the table?
"A-already?", he had to ask nonetheless as the girl had barely joined the conversation at all yet. He nodded at Santario's words, glad that she was announcing what he also would have offered the girl, if he had known her any better. Well he was lucky to have Santario present here. Alan glanced over to his friend, to see if she was doing alright, giving her a small smile. He was happy when Santario changed the subject to something else and nodded. "Me either! I can't wait to celebrate the holidays with them, since that wasn't possible last year, so they promised to make it a big holiday with lots of food!", he explained, his eyes shining in excitement. The thought of it let him forget to worry about Kyle, as golden specks danced in his eyes.

Not wanting to bother Alan too much, the Gryffindor Prefect would rather give him some space and let him enjoy his conversation with San without a stranger like her around for today. It might seem really odd for someone who only just joined for a cup of hot chocolate and then leave in a very short time of period, but Griseldis wanted to be respectful and not letting people around her feel uncomfortable. It was the last thing she wanted. San didn't look like she minded her leaving but mentioned that she was welcome to stay longer and even asked her what she has planned for Winter Break. Griseldis simply gave her a weak wave with an apologetic smile, but still replied to her or else it would be a bit rude, "Oh, I don't know yet but I think it will be the same returning to my hometown and spend my Winter Break there." Then Alan also seemed a bit surprised that she was leaving so soon, she just nodded to him politely, still having the same apologetic smile on her face. Too bad, Alan seems not being comfortable with me around yet, but I believe he is a nice person and it kinda reminds of the other Alan. Hopefully, next time he won't be too shy. Griseldis thought to herself.Interacting with @Alan Vanes @Santario Martin
While Griseldis was thinking that in her mind, she didn't notice or more like it was an unexpected accident. There was a group of upper-class Gryffindor students sitting right beside them and they seemed to be enjoying a conversation together. However, one certain topic caused one of the Gryffindors to laugh uncontrollably and didn't notice that his elbow knocked a golden goblet on the floor. To the Gryffindor Prefect's bad luck, the moment she turned around, her foot stepped right onto the goblet causing Griseldis to lose her balance. She let out a sharp cry of shock, and out of reflex, her left hand grabbed the side of the Gryffindor color-themed tablecloth but due to her weight and strength, it got pulled towards her and all the goblets and plates that were filled with fruits and desserts all crashing together making a very loud commotion. Surely, without any doubt, it got everyone in the Great Hall alerted.
Griseldis's back made an impact on the ground and before she could react, she immidiantly got covered by the tablecloth and a few goblets and plates also dropped on her body. The area went silent and the only sound that was made was an "ouch".

San nodded with a smile when they talked about winter break. “That sounds amazing Alan I hope you enjoy!” Gris gave a bit of a shorter reply before getting ready to take her leave. That was when the prefect that San had come to known as naturally clumsy slipped in some spilled drink and took a tablecloth down with her. San gasped and jumped up from her seat trying to get over to Gris and help untangle her from the tablecloth. “Gris! Are you okay?!” She asked while continuing to try and clear away the fallen goblets, food, and untangle the Gryffindor Prefect.Interacting with| @Alan Vanes & @Griseldis Edelhardt
It seemed so far that every time that she had seen Gris except for one the poor girl was falling or bumping into something. She knew the girl had martial arts skills, but it seemed to really only work when she was in the moment and needed to use her talent not all of the time. Either way it was one of the things that she had grown to understand about Gris and even found endearing of her friend. Either way she had come to expect this to happen around Gris now as it happened more often than not.

The third year reacted quite shocked when he suddenly heard a loud bang and the sound of someone crashing to the ground. Not only that, but there was also a lot of other stuff involved, as the female Gryffindor dragged the tablecloth with everything on it with her. As she fell she also knocked over some of the mugs that had been placed on the table, one of which splashed onto Alan's pants as it was knocked from the table, crashing down to the floor with a clink.
Alan snapped around in an instant, his knee hitting against the wooden bench he was sitting on, causing a wave of pain to shoot through his body. He ignored it though, as he quickly got up to also assist the prefect that was now on the ground, surrounded by dishes and leftover meals. "A-are you o-okay?", he asked in worried nervousness, around at the same time Santario was also asking the girl. All attention from the students that were left here, was on them, making Alan even more nervous than he actually had been before. And the dull pain at the side of his knee did not help making him feel any more comfortable either, so he just did his best and helped the poor Gryffindor on the ground.
