Pericles was not necessarily a chatty sort. His voice was mild with a meandering sort of softness, seemingly trapped between reality and daydream. Yet in his excitement, and given the intrigue of the topic, he was glad to carry on casually. Gabriel stoked the sparks of conversation. Furrowing his brow while dredging up a memory, he answered the other boy on a tentative tune. "Well... my father calls them imprints, not souls. Ghosts are more like... the memory of a person, a sort of-" he held up both hands, curling fingers to hold an invisible sphere "-cloud of magic and energy that sticks around once the body is, ah... you know." Pericles' brows bounced in a meaningful fashion. "Ghosts can't say what it's like to die, since they've settled in a sort of 'imitation life' over real death. I s'pose you could call that a limbo. No one really knows what's waiting after life."

His mouth tilted in a quizzical way, hands taking up the goblet of pumpkin juice so that he might swirl it in his hands, peering distractedly down into its contents. "Da says smart witches and wizards chose to move on. Only those with 'unfinished business' hang around, regretting work they haven't finished or wrongs they've gone and done. I wonder..." his strange silvery eyes resumed roaming the room from behind those spectacles, "...why the Grey Lady is still here." The boy frowned a frown which seemed too somber against his young face. Then he blinked back to the moment, the far-away gaze lured in again, and his subtle smile renewed while he looked between the two new additions to the table.

Dropping the macabre topic altogether, as easily as if he'd forgotten it at a moment's notice, he parroted "I'm Pericles!" before offering Gabriel a handshake. He began to reach towards Rue in turn, only to realize she was sketching something at the table, causing him to pause so as not to interrupt her. Instead, he admitted aloud "I tried to learn how to draw, but I was rubbish at it," then innocently pried in a clearly curious fashion: "What are you drawing? Can we see?"

Before taking a bigger sensation of regret he heard a voice coming near, "Well...my father calls them imprints" was enough to make him to look at the direction of the sound that was coming from, and silenlty he started hearing what he was saying. And since he didn't wanted to be disrespectfull he didn't intrrupted him at all, ,but still you could tell that his mind was having answers prepared to a comeback.

"I'm Pericles!" said the boy while wanting to have a handshake with him,as an answer he gave the handshake and calmly responded "Nice to meet you, I'm Gabriel ",after finishing the introduction he decided to make a quick answer because he didn't wanter to bother him "I've never heard that concept before... Imprints..,well I guess it's more accurate ,nevetherless .."Gabriel said hesitating what he was going to spill out,so he said it a little bit lower "Since that energy stays near or around the body as you say" moving one of his finger around in circle, ponting the entire place they were in , can't we conclude that not only they have something undone related to the hogwarts or mages that are already dead, but their bodies are some-what near hogwarts?,oh well we will never know"

Gabriel for a second looked at "The Grey Lady" , remembering what Pericles said, however, it seemed like he was talking to another student, but he heard "Can we see?" , Gabriel kind of frozen for a second, without knowing if he could see to or stay out of the way, looking at both of them he tought for himself
"We?, does that includes me or..what should I do amm.."

She looked up at the two boys with surprise. " You-You want to see my drawing? " She clung the notebook to her chest. " It's not that good... I was just practicing drawing people. My style isn't that good anyway. " She showed them the notebook to reveal her drawing of the boy sitting next to her, drawn in a kind of anime style. "See? Not that good. I bet you could draw better than me. " She told Pericles. His name is Gabriel... Okay. Her eyes shifted around the room nervously.

I forgot to introduce my self, haven't I? " I'm Rue. Nice to meet you." Imprints... that could be right. She went back to her drawing and started to draw Pericles and herself in the drawing. She wondered if he thought her art style was good. I wonder what he meant when he said he can't draw well. Everyone can draw well in their own way. Do some people not like Picasso? Yes. But is he still a famous artist? Yes. Surely he can draw well. "Hey, Pericles? I'm sure you can draw well. Show us!" She handed him an empty page in her notebook and a pencil.

Mon ami pour toujours, Rue.

" You-You want to see my drawing? " got him out of it's frozen state to focus on what she said, it seems that she was hesitating a little but it ended up showing it anyway.
"Woah, anime style eh?,it's pretty good what you drew!" said without knowing it was him who was painted but after hearing "I bet you could draw better than me" Gabriel said to both "please don't get offended but, comparing ourself to others makes makes us no good, what matters is that if we don't like something we made, then we should try and improve it,nobody borns knowing everything" said trying to support her and him, also she introduced herself "I'm Rue. Nice to meet you."
"Hello, nice to meet you to, I'm Gabriel" said to get in the conversation.
Gabriel suddenly got curious regarding a specific drink, so to know Rue's and Pericle's opinion he said "Um guys, any of you have tried that thick purple drink?, I mean,it shouldn't be dangerous since it's here but, nobody seems to have drinked it" after that he grabbed a cup and said "should I...?" in a hesitating tone.

Suddenly it seemed that Rue wanted to see how Pericles draw, giving him a paper and a pencil as an invitation to it, which Gabriel with a calm smile on its face said to Pericles "Oh in case that you would want to ,what would you draw?" .

The sorting was over and Grace was starving, she didn’t have enough money for the trolley candy and the sandwich she was going to eat before she left was consumed by her dog, Oscar and they were at Kings Cross by then. She was a graceful eater but put loads of food on her plate, she was so happy that she was in Ravenclaw since she was smart but she doesn’t brag about it. She looked at everybody at the table and saw  many kind faces, she knew she belonged in Ravenclaw but was scared to be in Hufflepuff or Gryffindor she certainly wasn’t fit for Slytherin, she was much too nice for it.

She turned to a girl beside her “Hello, my name is Grace! What’s yours?” She said, smiling. Grace stared eating her food and as she poured pumpkin juice, she looked at the prefects “They look nice” she thought, smiling at them. Grace noticed her pumpkin juice overflowing “Oops!” She said, cleaning it up. Grace thought of her dog Oscar, and missed him dearly also her parents but she was glad to be in Ravenclaw. “I will make my parents proud” Grace thought, smiling. Grace had future plans but for now, Hogwarts felt like home to her already.

"Nice to meet you! I'm Charlotte." She gave a crooked smile to Grace and surveyed the students seated near them. Her eyes darted around the Hall as she spoke in Grace's general direction.
"I thought I was gonna get Gryffindor because my older brother's one, but I'm pretty excited to be in Ravenclaw. It was my dad's house. I can't wait for classes to start..." Charlotte trailed off, examining the overwhelming mass of food in front of her. She loaded her plate with various forms of carbs and gulped down her goblet of pumpkin juice. The sorting ceremony was absolutely nervewracking. She was worried about being put in Slytherin on account of her ambition. Imagine being in your brother's rival house! She was glad it was over and proved interesting enough to not be thrown in Hufflepuff. Although she was a half-blood, most of her family were Muggles, so she had been primarily raised in a nonmagical context. Floating candles and appearing food were certainly new, that's for sure. She still wasn't sold on the wizarding get-up, no matter how impressive Professor Lear's was.
"I love this stuff; my dad's always insisted upon keeping pumpkin juice in the house. My mom hates it, though. She's a Muggle. What are your parents like?" The question was thrown at Grace, but Charlotte continued to look across the table, eager to make some new friends.

Liam walked with a confident gait, you could call it a stride, towards the Ravenclaw table. The Wizarding World was new to him; he was new to the Wizarding World, which culminated to make a blank slate. It was an excuse to obliterate old habits and amass new ones, which Liam was grateful for. His old school hadn’t been too bad, but there were some things that he looked back on with sorrowful remorse. Now, this table right here was his solitary chance to be who he wants to be.

He practically plopped into his embossed mahogany chair- etiquette has never been his specialty. The table was a bustling row of jostling kids, intellectual kids at that, people that you’d aim to make a high impression on. The obstreperous raucous of hearty laughter rose up from several locations around the table- each of them inducing tinges of envy. Fortunately, this rather jovial section of the table seemed to be eager for conversation too, although none of them were currently enthralled in it.

“What are your parents like?”

Liam heard this rather audible query over the rest of ruckus; he was immediately struck with the urge to answer. It demonstrates poor etiquette, and was probably a brazen approach, but Liam paid no mind to any mental forethought. He decided to delve into the youthful girl’s conversation.

“My parents are currently separated, I grew up with my dad. He’s a nice fellow, though. Although he did keep the magical world from me until this year, I still love him. I’ve never actually met my mom.”

Liam pronounced this boldly, practically forcing his way into the conversation, abandoning all manners. He managed to somehow omit his social introduction, even.

Jackson stared at his food, wishing he could get out of this place. Don't take it the wrong way, he loved Hogwarts and Ravenclaw, but he absolutely loathed crowds and loud noises. It's always been bit of an annoyance, because in the summer time when he works in the London ports there is always some loud noise ringing in the air. He ha gotten used to those noises though, but not the crowds. He felt suffocated and that he was unable to breath properly in a room with so many people. For a moment it felt like he was going to have a panic attack. And that would only lead to more embarrassment by his peers.
Jackson took a deep breath in, trying to slow his breathing and calm himself down. He thought of the gentle rocking of a boat at sea. The gentle sound of the waves hitting the bow of the boat. The feeling when he would sit up in the crows nest, eyes wide as he would look through a telescope at the horizon. The pure joy he felt when swinging down from the top of the mast on an excess rope, like something a pirate would do in movies, landing roughly on the deck of the schooner.
The auburn haired boy let out a sigh of relief as he felt the panic and worry melt away, his vision slowly becoming less blurry so he could finally see the multiple strawberry tarts he had stacked onto his plate. They were his favorite, after all.

To Be Caught Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, well, in trouble is he.

Charlotte’s head whipped to the boy next to her as she listened intently to his declaration.
Her eyebrows had shot up to her hairline; she was cursed with the inability to hide any emotional reactions. She was impressed at the boy’s willingness to join in the conversation, although a bit taken aback at the forwardness he had shown in return.
Charlotte had pretty much had a charmed life, and other than getting lost in between her siblings, had never experienced anything other than two stable parents. Of course, she had had friends in grade school whose parents had been separated, but no one had ever spoken so brazenly and without shame about the subject before.
Charlotte looked at the boy’s plate, as if his food would reveal some deep sight into his psyche. Her eyes returned to his face, searching for intention. It seemed as if the table around them had gotten quieter as she leaned in a bit more so he could hear her.
“Oh. Um, what’s your name?”
This was the only response Charlotte could fathom. What an interesting boy-Charlotte was intrigued by his home life, wondering how he was so open with his parents’ personal affairs. If her parents heard her going on about their problems, she'd be in trouble for weeks. Why was he in Ravenclaw and not the bold house of Gryffindor?

Liam was relatively shocked at his own words, he had never been near meek, however, bold would not be a word to describe him either. He probably lies somewhere in the medium. The girl’s reaction indicated that she too was somewhat stupefied, considering the brief pause in between her query. However, Liam did not have ample time to dwell on these thoughts, due to the omission of his own introduction.

“My name’s Liam, Liam Bennett if you will. What’s your name, I didn’t quite catch it?”

Liam had a unorthodox childhood compared to many of his wizard peers; he didn’t look upon his parent’s divorce as a disconcerting event. He loved his dad keenly, and had never truthfully met his mom. His mother was merely expunged from the picture. Not that he would’ve passed up the chance to meet her, of course. He glared downward and fiddled with his meal, swirling his soup into a turbulent whirlpool. Meanwhile, his foaming can of butter beer sat unblemished. Liam fleetingly thought about the prospect of introducing more to the conversation before she replied, possibly a quip or riposte, however, he ultimately decided on the oppugnant and kept his mouth shut.
