Calling All Pilgrims! OPEN RP Closed

She smiled in a tad bit of pride, feeling rather accomplished about her dish's success so far. She let Donnovan take the pan from her. Her eye brows lopped a bit with a questioning look as donny apologized, but her smile stayed just as bright. She didn't understand why he apologized, but she brushed it off. "Please, call me cookie, and pleasure to meet you Donny."

She stood back to let donny and Teiki do their thing. The nervous red head wreck wasn't exactly sure what to do with herself seeing as most of the prepping was done. After a good bit of awkwardly standing there, she decided to walk over to the table and have a seat. Cookie searched the scenery as if she needed to to find something. She wasn't looking for anything in particular, she was just trying to keep busy.

She gave up trying to distract herself and decided to be social. She looked up at the girl next to her who was wearing a dark cloak (lusia) and took a good long breath before speaking. "Hi! I'm cookie. I don't think I got your name." she said with a smile. She felt around for the bag of cookies she always keeps with her. She needed those as a back up plan in case her conversation backfires.

She smiled lightly at the boy, adjusting her jacket as she did so. As the boy laughed nervously, she nodded back to him when asked if she'd like to help. Brielle loved to decorate, whether it be for her dormitory or a cozy little party by the forest. She took a piece of table cloth and draped it over as another student appeared, causing Brielle to smile warmly at her. She held a tray of sandwiches in front of her, setting it down on a nearby table.

She was pretty; with her hair black as night reaching down to her waist, and her eyes shining a bright blue. The girl dressed in sweater and jeans, causing Brielle to think of herself as overdressed. Oh well, she thought, paying hardly any mind to it as she noticed.

Another girl now, had approached the designated party area. She was dressed in a dark Slytherin cloak, causing Brielle to smile at her. Someone from her house would definitely make this event a bit more interesting. Not that it wouldn't have been fun on it's own, just that this spiced it up a bit.

Brielle turned back to Donnovan and quirked an eyebrow. She was interested in what this picnic would entail, whether it be games or a simple chat; she'd like to get a gist beforehand.

"Thanks! My name's Teiki, nice to meet you all!" She smiled, not realizing that the other girl might've had something else to say before moving on. She stood more off to the side, letting the two new(er)comers start to mingle, watching as the host, now known as Donny take the plates from Cookie. Teiki made a little note as she gathered other names. She just didn't have the robed girl and the fancy girl. Unsure what to do, she started to try and fold an extra napkin with her very limited origami skills. To say the least, the crumpled ball that could have possibly been a crane was quickly put into one of the jean pockets, probably to be later forgotten.

The fancy girl also seemed to have a similar thought as the others, voicing her question of what this party entailed. Teiki nodded in agreement before taking a piece of the sweet potato casserole. After all, it looked wonderful, and smelled amazing as well. When she did take her first bite, it tasted amazing. Almost like a bite of home. Her interest in food probably helped her in getting into Hufflepuff as well.

"As much as I enjoy food, I'm also interested in what other activities we'll be doing."

Donny smiled as everyone congregated and talked to each other. He'd also finished setting the tables, so maybe he could announce the kick off! He couldn't help but notice also, that people were asking around about what they were going to be doing today. So, he stood atop a chair, and got the attention of everyone. "Ahem!" he said, hoping everyone would notice his presence over the crowd. "I know some of you are wondering what we will be partaking in today, at this party! Well, I'll tell you!" he said awkwardly, wondering if everyone was still listening in. "Okay, the main activity for today, is called a pumpkin roll." He said, aware that not everyone got the gist of what it meant. "It's like a race!" he clarified. "You will each receive a pumpkin," he said, motioning over towards the forest where there was a tall pile of pumpkins. "And you will roll it as fast as the weight will let you, and reach the finish line!" he said. "But there is a twist of course!" he said, as he pulled his wand out of his pocket. "You will attempt this, with the exception of spells, and any other distraction in the hand of your opponent, to try and stop you!" he said. He waited until the crowd was finished talking, and then-

"Wingardium Leviosa!"

he announced, pointing his wand at a pumpkin. It floated over, and he placed it the hands of the girl with a silky dress. "Next!" he said, lifting another.
