We live in a mansion on the outskirts of London where there are so many poor people and a lot of rich people who live in mansions. The Pembroke name goes back a long time. I don't like living in a mansion because everyone is looking in and I feel so bad for all the poor people. I am the only one in my family who wants to go to school but my parents refuse because they say I am going to go to Hogwarts. At home I get bullied by the neighbours because I like reading and writing and class in general except history. I also get bullied because I always give money to the poor outside the house gates. I have a few friends and they come over a lot and have sleepovers and we almost always get caught sneaking down into the kitchen to get snacks as my parents are very strict with the rule of no sweet things before bed unless guests are over. They say that our dessert is what we eat in the middle of the day so when I have my friends we sneak down and take a lot of snacks

The first time I did magic was last year when my parents were in a meeting which is literally them chatting but not wanting to be disturbed and I was eavesdropping, which I do a lot but it is really hard because you can't hear that well. They were talking about me obviously. I thought they were talking about my grades because they aren't the best because I have been a bit less motivated to do my work because I thought about the other houses at Hogwarts and I felt that some of them would be better than Ravenclaw and the only reason I really did my work on time other than the English was because I wanted to be in Ravenclaw. My Dad was in Ravenclaw when he was in Hogwarts but my Mum was in Hufflepuff so she doesn't really care about my grades and says things like do your work and you will be able to go to Hogwarts instead of what my Dad says. In the meeting, they were saying things like squib and a lot of what if's so using my Ravenclaw brain (that is what my Dad says anyways) and I guessed they were thinking I was a squib. I was so annoyed because my Dad had said since I could understand properly that I would be going to Hogwarts and I would be in Ravenclaw if I had good grades. I then had started to work a lot more because he had convinced my Ravenclaw was the best house. I had my hand on the door because I wanted to barge in a scream at them saying I wasn't a squib and it started a fire but the shape of my hand! My parents soon heard the noise and they extinguished the fire using their wands. Then they talked to me first giving out to me for eavesdropping ( I had to tell them because I was meant to be asleep in bed) then I asked them if the fire proves that I am not a squib and they said yes!
