Oil and Water PV Closed

If something bad had happened already, then apparently more bad things needed to happen. At least, that seemed to be today's logic. Looking up, the owls reminded her of bats, glaring down from their highest perches as they tried to get away from the windows that were letting all the wind and rain in. To make matters worse, they appeared to think that Teiki and Angel were at the heart of their problems. So when they learned that there was no real way to get out of this mess without getting wet, they decided to screech down upon them, clawing and pecking. She quickly crouched down, covering her head and neck. Her wet hair decided to position themselves before her eyes, so everything that was happening was a blur.

She did manage to see Angel, though, when she stood up just to be pummeled by owls and rain. She winced, before trying to crawl her way closer to the other girl. Since they were both trying to get to the other person, it didn't take too long. At least the birds had been stopping a good portion of the rain from getting on her. But her uniform was certainly torn, and she knew she had scratches all over her arms and ankles.

"Let's go down!" Teiki said, trying to indicate towards the Owlery staircase that would lead them down and hopefully out of rain or where the owls would be. She then awkwardly started to crawl over there. When she did, she quickly got up, helped Angel up, then raced down the stairs to get at least one floor down, although she wouldn't mind putting multiple floors between them if Angela was okay with that.

She nodded and quickly stood up, racing for the stairs too, the birds inside looked a tad bit more peaceful but she didn't want to take chances. "Uhhhh l-lets go back inside Hogwarts" She looked outside the windows, wind, and rain seemed to be pouring down and it looked like it was going to destroy the castle but it was strong and some little rain wasn't going to get rid of the millennium-long rein of the school. She took a deep breath and raced outside, down the spiraling steps "Why couldn't this be inside!" Her voice was carried by the wind so it made her seem very loud, even though she raced down the steps like there was a chimera (Her favorite animal and animal she wishes to encounter one day) at the bottom she was careful so as not to slip and fall on the slippery concrete steps. 

She was grasping her books, which were now soaked, her robes and hair were soaked too and her robe was torn "We're gonna have to change into new robes, can't walk around with holes in them" She chuckled softly hoping to make the girl laugh during the abysmal events that have happened so far, she sure as hell needed it. She turned back around to make sure the girl was still following her, the good news was the rain seemed to be lightening up a tad. "Good news, for once today there is good news" She shook her head and smiled at herself knowing that, how things have been going today, it will end up going sour and bad somehow. Was she bad luck? Was the girl bad luck? Were they cursed? Pishposh, bad luck was just a superstition but the cursed thing may be real. I mean they were in a castle taking potions classes with wands so many things were possible. She had stopped and waited for the female to catch up to her, she shook the water off her sleeves even though they were going to get wet anyway but it bothered her when the water went up her sleeves and down her white polo.

"Ha! If we were inside, we wouldn't have gotten nearly as wet! Like that would happen considering our bad luck." She spoke quickly, but the wind was on her side for once, allowing her voice to be heard. While she almost slipped a few times, she managed to keep herself from falling each time. Her hair, though once being held up in two pigtails, now slashed across her face, stuck by the rain that had decided to stay for the long descent down the stairs. Both ponytail holders were falling out of her hair due to its smaller volume, so she tugged them out and whipped her hair around until it almost looked natural. Almost.

"Sorry if I sprinkled you with water. Just wanted to get my hair a little more orderly." She blushed, but realized that Angel might not even notice, as both of the girls were soaking wet.

"True, true. Plus, I'm just cold now from all of the rain." She did laugh, an excitement in her eyes despite both events being somewhat traumatic. She enjoyed the other girl's company, and didn't mind having these embarrassing events happen. She was glad that this girl was kind, some like Michelle, certainly not Emma. Her expression soured suddenly, but realizing she was stuck on the past, she smiled up at Angel.

"Well, I think I'd better go to the common room. Need to get a new uniform quickly." She smiled, intending to go back to the dorm room if the other girl didn't add anything.

OOC: No, it's fine. I've been busy as well, you're all good.

She nodded, she too had to get a new robe, "Wanna walk together till we have to split?" She asked as they walked inside the building, people looked and some asked what happened. It just wasn't a good day for either of them. She started laughing as they walked which seemed random but it really wasn't. Angela replayed the things that happened today, the pumpkin heads, and now this, it wasn't a bad day just a day filled with adventures. "Sorry, I'm just thinking of the things that happened today. Glad I had someone to play in my misfortune with me" She gave a kind and warm smile, her hair and skin had mostly dried but her robes were still dripping wet. 

They would soon have to split up since Hufflepuff common room was in the basement and Ravenclaw common room was at the west side of Hogwarts in a tower. There were students everywhere, talking, running to classes, or just standing around watching others. As soon as they got to the splitting points she stopped "With how today is going I guess I'll see you later" She offered a hand as a departure handshake but also as a see you later handshake too, she smiled, her dimples showed but she didn't mind. She clasped her books and waited for her to accept her hand, she looked at the girl's hair, long and elegant, it made her a bit jealous since she had rather short hair and the girl was much prettier than her and taller. 

OOC: I was grounded sorry but what shall we do for the next encounter, something at the library perhaps or something involving a trick staircase?

@Angela Nelson | Staircase

Teiki smiled, and joined in to giggle with Angel as well. Her cousin had never told her about this part of Hogwarts, although she doubted that Lilac had told her everything. After all, it was seven years, which is quite a long time in the eyes of an 11 year old, even an 18 year old!

"Yeah, this whole day would've been a lot worse if I didn't have someone to help me through it. Not that I'd want anyone to have a pumpkin head or get pecked by birds, though." She smiled, thanking Angel. Teiki knew that the Ravenclaw Common Room was a lot further up than the Hufflepuff Corridor. They still had to go up one floor though, so she stayed with Angel as she went up the stairs.

While she had already been at school for quite some time, she had never had to be dripping from the rain when she went up the stairs. So, when she started walking up, she slipped, plunging one foot into the trick staircase, effectively getting herself stuck. She winced, before laughing at herself.

"Hey Angel? I think I need some help?" Teiki's long hair had also managed to get itself stuck, pulling her head. While the pulling might not have been noticeable for others (as her head was in a normal position), the slow ripping of hair was quite uncomfortable and slightly painful for the fallen girl.

"Yep. Definitely need help."

As they walked up the stairs Angela had jumped a peculiar step that the prefects had warned her about but forgot that most Hufflepuff didn't know about it. She heard a slight yelp and turned around to see a half-sunken Teiki and couldn't help but giggle. She set down her books and examined the situation for a few moments to try and think of a way to get her out without hurting her. She looked at her front and back and even from under, she looked fine from the front and her books were a bit scattered but from the back, she could see her long black hair was stuck too, must've hurt. Angela went down a few steps, her legs and half of the female's hair could be seen, she tried to pull her legs first to see if it would get her through but no luck. She thought and tried to think of another solution.

NPC: Ghost-Dainty Dilila (Thought of a random name)
A ghost was seen floating through the staircases her hair was a lovely brown, she wore a blue and gold dress and was humming a tune when she saw them having a bit of trouble "You need to pull the young miss from the top or you'll never get her unstuck, and better hurry before the staircase moves" She smiled and did a curtsy as your welcome and floated off through the walls. 

Angela looked at the ghost and took her advice, she made her way above Teiki and grabbed her arms, she strained as she pulled her and fell back. It loosed the female up a bit but wasn't enough. "Ok I have an idea, the step is mostly triggered when someone steps on it so I will step on it but you have the hard part, you have to push yourself up when I do and you need to do it fast or you will fall through" She sat on the step above her and looked down to see how far she would have to fall if she didn't push herself up in time. She picked up Teiki's books and moved them so they wouldn't fall either and set them next to hers. The female must've been in some kind of pain, being stuck in between a concrete step and her hair being pulled didn't seem all too comfortable.

@Angela Nelson | Staircase

Teiki was about to whine because of the other's giggle, but after looking down at herself, she simply sighed. It was sort of funny how she had gotten into this. She was glad that Angel was quickly trying to figure out how to get her out of the this mess. She was also thankful when a ghost walked over to them, explaining a way to get Teiki out before curtsying. Teiki thanked the ghost quickly, before scrunching her eyes so that she wouldn't wince from the sudden jerking of her hair.

She nodded as Angel explained the plan. "Just don't really want to fall, so-uh- please do a countdown before you step?" Teiki tried to maneuver her legs into a place that would help her get leverage to push herself out of the staircase. She thanked Angel as she moved her books, glad that someone had remembered the slightly dented books. She was also glad that the damage against the books seemed to be minor and insignificant. At least she wouldn't have to but new ones.

"Okay, I think I'm ready. Honestly, I'm happy that my books are okay and that you're here. You've been nothing but nice to me." Perhaps this moment wasn't the best for thankfulness and other distractions, but it felt important to say. Especially since She could be very much falling at least one floor.

She gave a quick nod and waited for other students to pass "1....2....3!" She stepped on the stair but couldn't grab Teiki fast enough "Wingar-" She couldn't finish before Teiki had fallen down and onto the next flight of stairs with a loud thud against the concrete stairs. Other gasped when she fell and Angela jumped down to get to Teiki faster "Wingardum Leviosa" She quickly resited and pointed at herself with her wand to make her float down gently, as she got to the next flight she crouched down by the hurt female and examined her "I'm so sorry!" She checked her wrist, head, torso, and legs. "Does anywhere hurt?" She asked gently touching various places to see if anything was broken or sprained or dislocated.


She began to freak up thinking she made another student break their leg or something, she then used the same spell to float back up to quickly grab both of their stuff and float back down. "Ohhhh Im really sorry!" She was shaking, it had scared her as much as Teiki and Angela felt so bad but didn't know is she should take the Hufflepuff to the Hospital wing or not. She was also scared she would get in trouble for harming another student, she prayed a teacher didn't come by so they wouldn't get in trouble. "If you are hurt we need to get you to the hospital wing" She was trembling as she talked, her voice getting softer as she spoke as she tried not to have a panic attach.

Timing was not something was good at. Observation was. She noticed she had been too late far before she had managed to actually do something. She fell, but not for long. Her eye twitched, trying to block out the pain. Currently, she was fine. The adrenaline was pumping through her and nothing seemed to have any sense of awareness. She was just sitting on some steps in some castle.

But the feeling of pain quickly came back. It left her head spinning, and she was quite thankful that she was sitting on the stairs rather than up standing. Who knows how much farther she would've fallen.

"No, it's okay." She said softly when the other girl apologized. It hadn't been Angel's fault, but rather Teiki's for getting herself stuck and not being able to get herself out. She looked down at her self, starting to see where some bruises would be. The odd part was that she wasn't hurting all that much.

"I think I just sprained my foot. Nothing all that bad. I should be okay after a while." The girl's energy had deteriorated, all that was left being a softness. She seemed hardly aware of reality, only speaking in simplistic sentences.

"I'm fine." She stated again, mainly for herself.
