"Actually, yeah! I think I've been all over this place. At least where I can go without getting in trouble." Sylvie's face seemed to light up at the mention of exploration. She'd done a lot of that. Maybe a little too much, but at least she was well acquainted with the school and its grounds. She'd even taken the time to read up a bit on each nice place she visited, though she'd never in her life admit it. That stuff was for nerds and geeks, and by God Sylvie O'Niell was neither of those things. Haha... Ha. Anyway! "We could go sit in the courtyard or wander around or something like that. Unless you have a better place in mind?"

Now, she would have suggested the lake which was arguably her favorite place she'd been to so far, with its colder than average breezes and pretty views, though she felt that maybe that wasn't the best idea. She'd most likely just bore the poor boy with her ramblings on certain creatures that made their homes in its icy waters- primarily the giant squid that she was so keen on seeing some way or another, and considering she'd just met this boy... She prefered not to be seen as completely nuts. For now, at least.

At Sylvie's enthusiastic recount of exploration, brief though it was, Robbie smiled. Even if Sylvie did end up being wizard racist, she seemed pretty nice otherwise!

"I've also been pretty keen on wandering. Back home, my family and I used to go up to the nature reserves by my house on weekends, which is why I was kinda bummed to find out we're not allowed to check out the forest nearby. At least, not until our third year." And, even in their third year, the visitations were under the strict supervision and scrutiny of the Care of Magical Creatures instructor. As someone who was free-spirited by nature, Robbie chafed at the restrictions on their exploration. Still, though, part of him recognized that with all of the dangerous creatures out there, the rules were probably justified. Probably.

"But yeah, the courtyard seems as good of a place as any. I don't have anywhere else in mind." He nodded slightly, as if to confirm to himself that the conversation had reached a good point to transition. He slowly made his way to the door of the restroom, pausing to wait for her to follow, planning on holding it for her. Robbie was nothing if not polite, a quality that'd been instilled in him by his family members.

“Well,” Sylvie sighed. She agreed with him on that; The rules about not sneaking about in the forest made her rebel soul itch. She was almost tempted to break them. The keyword being almost. No need to get crazy and subsequently expelled and or killed by the various creatures that could probably eat her alive, right? Right. As soon as her third year came around though, all bets were off. “I guess it’s not called the Forbidden Forest for nothing. As much as that BLOWS.” Her nose scrunched up a bit, but when Robbie continued on, her face softened once more.

"If we get bored or something maybe we can go inside and see if there's anything to do in there." She followed after him. As he opened the door and even held it for her, she raised her eyebrows at his gentlemanly display. Gestures like those weren't something she was all that used to- Considering she grew up with Thomas and Talulah Baines. "Polite" wasn't exactly the best way to go about describing their friendship. Instead of holding the door for each other like they should, it was more so a game of "who can push who out of the way and get through the door first." Still, she smiled and gave him a genuine "Thank you." as she walked through the door.
