The first game of the year was a bust. Hufflepuff won, the short, weird-looking pure blood from Hufflepuff, @Serena Towers caught the snitch before her team could take their final Seeker down. It was disappointing, however her month did not hinge on the success and failure of their house in a game. She was there for one reason -- to kick @Reid Kovacs and @Quinn Healy's asses. Post game, the plan was simple, go to the infirmary and get checked out. She was pretty sure Kovacs busted a few ribs with his bludger hit. It surprised her, he looked like the sort of guy who spent more time in front of the mirror than the gym. Shame he was as evil as fuck, he would have made a fine ally in her war against the giant threat.

She was not a fan of the Mister Vancleaf, the school nurse that was on today. Well, on most days it would seem. Old, like thirty-something. Maybe kinda-sorta proficient, but he never graduated to 'doctor' so how good at his job could he be?

She hobbled into the hospital wing, her hand bracing her side. The pressure felt good and assuaged what ached her. She could still walk and in her mind she could still fight, she would be in better shape than @Quinn Healy. She looked around to see if the massive ginger was occupying a bed. If he was, she would pick the one next to him. If nobody was looking she would have given him a pillow facial, however there were too many witnesses here so that was a non-option. How disappointing.

She would groan as she chose a cot. Her knees would crack as she lowered herself down and the springs of the bed would groan in protest. Get up... go away, you're here far too often! She would unfasten her Quidditch armaments, allowing them to fall onto the floor next to the bed. It was such a relief, the loss of the extra weight but the movement made her body ache.

Beneath her protective gear she wore a simple white V-neck cotton  sleeveless shirt. She had a lot of muscle in her arms for a girl. She also wore a pair of simple cotton shorts, same material and color with a drawstring. The madwoman was a utilitarian. Leave it to the other teenage girls and preteens to worry about looking cute. Not Erin, her thick purple tresses with roughly finger-combed from her face and bound in a high pony tail. She wore no jewelry. No adornments. She was simply dressed and geared to play, and perhaps fight.

The visit went without incident, the was was offered a potion that she declined. She was never one to actually accept treatment, especially from Mister Vancleaf. Dude nurses were just weird. There were no broken bones, just an incredible amount of bruising. She could be thankful for that at least, she was sure Reid had broken her ribs. They still hurt when she breathed.

With a disinterest only a teen could muster Erin left without a thank you. The only interest she shown was when she looked towards the medicine cabinet, it was full of interesting stoppered bottles and each had a clear label but she could not take the time to read what might be inside. She was leaving before a giant-lover entered and she became part of their evil scheme.

Besides, she needed to find Parce and spend quality time with him, even if that usually involved finding him napping in some common area and dragging him someplace new so that they could be in a common place when he aroused just so he could wander off. It was not an incredibly passionate relationship, but people always say the passion leaves the relationship once you have kids. Maybe they are right.

Speaking of, this none months deal was starting to feel like bullshit.
