Alan leaned back on the bench, feeling full as he could not remember having ever eaten so much before; even though he probably had and this Shepherd's Pie had been absolutely delicious. It might look weird for onlookers, after all he was not a tall boy - as Quinn had so graciously pointed out when they first met - and still could eat as if he was actually growing more than a few centimeters per year. Alan would sigh, looking at his empty plate, empty except for some green beans. He did not really like eating those, but who in their sane mind would?Open to Interaction
He placed down his fork next to his plate and watched with a expectant smile how the plate disappeared in thin air together with the fork, spoon and knife and of course the bowl that had been filled with chocolate pudding, he had allowed himself as a dessert . Now only his cup was left and after taking a few moments to breath he reached for it, taking a sip of pumpkin juice. the juice would kind of make a small mustache above his upper lip that he quickly wiped away with the back of his hand.
After being done with food, he took a look around, trying to spot someone else in the Great Hall that had finished eating. Maybe even someone he knew, because Alan would not want to actually be the one to start the conversation with someone he actually did not know... That would be a weird thing of him to do, right? Still looking around and checking his surrounding for people wouldn't hurt, he told himself.

Santario had a purpose after she had been done with supper and it was finding Alan Vanes. Her sharp sapphire eyes scanned the Gryffindor table before landing on the boy she was looking for. A package had arrived at the start of supper and she already knew what it was. It was a couple of photos that she had sent off to get developed. These would include the photo of Alan that she had taken when they had first met as well as some photos that she had taken in her common room of different creatures in the lake including a rare glimpse of the giant squid.
She stood up and took the small package into her hands and started making her way over to the Gryffindor table. This wasn’t the first time that she had sat at the lion's table and she doubted it would be the last but every time she walked from the Slytherin table the green on her robes drew a couple of looks. Ones she would easily ignore as she just didn’t care what anyone else thought she would be friends with whomever she pleased. The seat across from Alan was free so she approached it. “Alan! Guess what I’ve got!” She was clearly excited about the small package in her hands as she sat down across from the boy and without shame found a mug of hot cocoa and added cinnamon to it before taking a sip.

The first thing Alan would hear were steps, but he did not really focus on those, since these steps could have been heading into any direction around the Gryffindor table. But what he heard next caught him by surprise and he quickly turned around on the bench at the Gryffindor Table; he would have fallen from the bench if he had not his hand to support him by placing it on the bench.Interacting with Santario Martin
"Sanny!", he replied, a smile appearing on his face as he pushed himself into a better sitting position, bas he watched how she sat down across from him. "What do you got? Don't tell me you got post from your parents?", he asked, his voice filling with a bit of excitement, before he took a sip of his pumpkin juice, while she made herself some hot cocoa. "You got the pictures? The one with the guitar? Oh... OH and the one of the Squid maybe? Did you get a good shot? Is it as big as the books say?", Alan would ask, while sure stumbling over some of his words, but at this point he could not even say, if that was by sheer excitement or insecurity; probably a mix of both.
If Santario will tell him, that she indeed got post from her parents, he would excitedly ask "Can you show them? I wanna see!~" His eyes shone, specks of yellow appearing in the natural green

Santario grinned at him when he asked her if it was post from her parents and she nodded as she set down her mug of cocoa. “Yes! It’s my newest photos! You from when we first met and I did manage to get some photos of the Squid and some other fish and I think even a grindylow!” She used her nails to unwrap the brown paper that covered her parcel and she opened the box and passed it over to Alan so that he could have the first look. She knew he was far more excited about it than she was, after all, she had taken the photos of the squid for him anyway.
She noticed the yellow specks appearing in his eyes and she definitely stared for a moment longer than was acceptable, but Alan was probably used to this from her by now. “There are two copies of every photo so you can have a copy!” She would watch him as she picked her mug of cocoa back up and sipped it. She loved watching people look through the photos that she had taken, and Alan was the first person that had seen her with her camera to have ever taken an interest in actually seeing her photos. That in itself earned him a spot as a good friend.

interacting with Santario Martin"You actually managed to get pictures of the Giant Squid?", he exclaimed, looking at her in disbelief. This was like Christmas; he would see an actual picture of the Giant Squid and not just the sketches that he would always find in the books that he flipped through on his search to find more awesome creatures. It was the actual Squid, the one housing in the Great Lake on Hogwarts Grounds and he was gonna have a picture of it all thanks to Santario; there was no scenario he could think of where he would not end up cherishing the picture!
"Wait... waiiiit wait wait, recap! You saw a Grindylow?", he stared at her in disbelief as he accepted the box and carefully took out the pictures as if they were the most precious treasure on the whole world. He then began to flip through them, occasionally smiling or giggling at one of the fishes, until he reached the picture of the Grindylow making his eyes widen. Never in his life had he seen an actual Grindylow and it was interesting to say the least. He never thought they would look like that, sure the light in the picture was not that good, considering these creatures were under the water and the picture was made through glass, but for Alan the quality of the images was as perfect as it could get!
He would pass on the pictures he had already looked at to Santario until he reached the one he was most excited about... the picture of the giant squid. "Look at this, look how big it is, this is so amazing; I can't believe you got such a good image of the giant squid! I mean it is the Giant Squid!" Alan had noticed her staring which made his cheeks flush lightly, as he assumed it was because he got way too excited over some pictures of creatures. Was he being weird, maybe? Not that it mattered to him, but he wanted Santario to be his friend. Then again Alan liked being Alan, so he smiled, staring at the Giant Squid, wondering if it would feel all slimey and how fast it could swim... or better, how it even got into the lake!
"Do you think Griffith will teach about it?", he asked, his eyes still swarmed with specks of yellow and orange.

Griseldis just finished her patrol at the...ballroom. She volunteered herself to help @Alexander Cloverfield patroling there since the other two Gryffindor Prefects were too busy so she was pretty much the only one who was available at that time. That place was pretty much ruined back then after the whole chaos. But she was so glad that she, @Alan Noble and other students got it out and she wanted to be positive that most of them would be fine. Well, they really made it out alive at the end but their costumes and masks are all dirtied and a few areas were ripped as well. Honestly, Griseldis didn't really want her parents to know what happened at the Masquerade Ball, but it wouldn't be right to keep it as a secret. And she wasn't surprised at all after she let her owl Crystal bring the letter to her family in Bridgwater. Her mother was so mad that she wanted to come to Hogwarts and give the Headmaster a piece of her mind. Luckily, her father was able to calm her down.Interacting with @Alan Vanes @Santario Martin
When Griseldis arrived in the Great Hall for a cup of hot chocolate, she walked towards the Gryffindor table. "Huh?", Griseldis spotted two students she was familiar with and one of them was a Slytherin. The closer she got, she found out the Slytherin girl was San and the Gryffindor she was talking to was the boy she once met at the Dodgeball game. San seems to really like visiting us Gryffindors, Griseldis thought with a smile, maybe she should try to be like her and visit other House tables to see her other friends more often.
"Hi, San! Nice to see you here!", Griseldis went to greet her Slytherin friend and noticed she was showing pictures to the older Gryffindor boy. She somehow believed that San loves photography and her photos were always amazing. "Wow, San! Those photos look really wicked!", Then she looked up to the boy and waved at him, "And hi, I'm Gris, second year. We once met at the Dodgeball game against the Ravenclaws, what's your name?"

Santario chuckled as she watched him. “Yeah, they aren’t the best I tried using the flash first which is what I think attracted the grindylow even though I was seeing if I could get the squid that way. Then he started pounding on the window so I took the flashbulb off and got a good one of him that way. I think the light combined with the vibrations is what made the squid come along.” Noticing his cheeks flushing she only smiled at him more. “I love how excited you are, that’s why I asked my mom for two copies of every photo so you would get to keep a set.” She hoped she had assured him that she didn’t think his reaction was strange.
She loved watching the colors of the sunset speckle his green eyes it was also so fascinating that he could do things like that. Even if he didn’t do it on purpose. Gris’s voice pulled her out of her own head and she looked up at smiled. “Hey Gris! Thank you!” She would look back to Alan and shrug at his question. “I would think he might because it is so close to us but since you’re the third year and actually have classes with him you might just want to ask him. You could even show him my photo.”
She personally had never met the professor but she had heard that he could be a bit of a grump. Something she probably wouldn’t have to deal with until the third year herself. She busied herself with taking sips of her hot cocoa as she looked between the two.

interacting with @Santario Martin & @Griseldis EdelhardtAlan looked up from the picture of the Giant Squid to smile shyly at the Slytherin girl. She was really nice and Alan was happy to call her a friend. For him at least they were somewhat friends now as both of them got along so well. He hoped she would see it the same way, but felt too awkward to actually ask, whether she considered them friends or not. "That is so awesome, that I get to keep a copy of each of them!", he chirped happily as he gently gave the heap of pictures a tap onto the table, to align them. "Do you maybe have a spare envelope with you so that I won't smudge them until I reach the dorms?", he asked, as he thought about getting himself a photo album just for the pictures Sanny made.
He was still in his thoughts as a Gryffindor girl approached them, one that was only vaguely familiar to Alan. So when she mentioned the dodgeball game it dawned on him, why she looked familiar. He was bad at remembering people and names, so it helped when she introduced herself, without him having to ask her for her name. "Oh, I am Alan, Alan Vanes", he replied with a smile, as he looked at the new girl with a mix of curiosity and shy reluctance.

Griseldis was surprised when the older Gryffindor boy told her his name, "A-Alan!? O-oh, sorry...I also have a good friend who's also called Alan, but he's a Ravenclaw and the same year as me." Then she went to take a seat right next to San, she knew she wouldn't mind. Then she looked up at him again with a bright smile, "Anyway, Alan. I'm really glad that we could properly meet in person this time. At the Dodgeball game, I got hit right away and had to go back to change into dry clothes before I get a cold."Interacting with @Alan Vanes @Santario MartinOpen to Interactions!
Not forgetting to get a cup of hot chocolate after the hard work she did this evening, Griseldis found herself an empty mug and reached out to take the container that was beside the mugs to pour herself some hot chocolate. There were a few small marshmallows popped out on the surface. Grisleidis closed her eyes and held the mug up to her lips, smelling the sweet aromas of milk chocolate filled her heart full of warmth. She gently blew on it to cool down a bit so first before she could take a sip from the hot chocolate. "Aaah, so delicious...hot chocolate is the best in this season." After enjoying her hot chocolate, Griseldis turned to look at San, her expression changed slightly from cheerful into an apologetic one, "So how are you, San? You and Alan seemed to already know each other." She asked and took another sip of her hot chocolate, continued to enjoy the sweet taste.

Santario reached forward and under the duplicates of the photos was an envelope. San had already thought to ask for one to be sent with the photos because she could easily carry the photos to her dorm within the package that they were sent in. She would hand Alan the envelope. “I thought ahead.” She grinned as she looked at Gris when she spoke about dodgeball. She would also nod her agreement about the hot cocoa, though, Santario would be inclined to say that hot cocoa was just the best at any time of the year. It was her favorite drink after all.
“Mm, yes Alan and I met at the end of September just outside of the care of magical creatures stables. We have not been able to spend a whole lot of time together because of Quidditch training and classes, but we catch each other here and there. Usually here.” She giggled at her little joke before finishing off her hot cocoa and reaching for the pitcher again refilling her cup. With a couple of dashes of cinnamon and a little stir, she was satisfied with her refreshed cup.
“I’m quite well though. Made another new friend I think.” She was still a little hesitant on the word friend, but so far they seemed to be getting on just fine so who knows. Perhaps even their different mindsets they could be friends. “How are you guys?” She figured she knew how Alan was given the photos she had just given him, but she hadn’t actually asked. She had been way too excited about the photos and they were close enough friends now that some social etiquette was not required all of the time.
