Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff
Thora jumped to her feet as Elena, with Bridget tagging along, zoomed towards the goal with the Quaffle in possession. As the blue-haired girl effortlessly scored a goal, Thora couldn't believe it. They had finally scored a goal. She was a little surprised that the sneks hadn't scored earlier, as it didn't seem very hard to get past the Puff's Keeper. Then, she wasn't one to judge, as she was only a second string.
"Good job, Elena!" Thora yelled upwards as the referee called the goal and awarded Slytherin ten points. It wasn't until a few seconds later than Thora realized what happened. The Hufflepuff carrying their Seeker was zooming towards something the girl couldn't see from the ground. Merlin's beard, they were going for the Snitch. Thora wanted to say something, to stop the pair from winning the game at the same time Koko blatched the badgers--or, tried to. The small blonde wasn't very successful, but Thora couldn't hold anything against her, as her skills as Keeper had saved the Slytherins many times already.
"ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY POINTS TO HUFFLEPUFF! THE GAME IS OVER!" the referee screamed over the din. No. The Hufflepuffs had won? Thora was never one to insult or be a bad sport, but she had thought Slytherin had it in the bag. They had lost their first game. Losing the very first game would certainly dampen their morale for the season, but it was only one game. Jumping up from the bench, the brunette left her school broom behind as she ran to the edge of the Pitch, waiting for her teammates to descend and dismount their broom. Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff
Santario jumped to her feet the same time Thora did cheering for Elena and Bridget as they scored the only goal that would be scored in that game. “Good job Bridget and Elena!!!” Saskia took a bludger for Serena and the other girl and Koko left the goals in an attempt to knock them off of their brooms but the girl hosting Serena on her broom was just too agile and managed to get out of the way in time.
She noticed as the girl and Serena rocketed towards what she could only assume would be the snitch. Dan, however, unfortunately, had not found the snitch yet and it would call for the end of the game as Serena grabbed it out of the air effortlessly. To top that off Reid slammed a bludger right into the boy and it would no doubt add insult to injury for Dan. Well, it was what it was, and it was only the first game for them. They still had the chance to win the other games and pull ahead.
The badgers fought hard for their victory and they earned it well. As much as she wasn’t happy about losing, which could be evident in her shaking her head and her scrunched up face, it was still a good game. With that Santario would start walking off of the pitch and to the locker rooms so that she could change out of her quidditch gear.

[font=PT Serif]The sun screamed in his eyes as he kept a low profile on the pitch. His heart was hammering in his chest, he felt thrilled hearing the cheers and 'boos' from each side as the game played out. There were things making him anxious, he had been in the air for too long, someone surely would try to take him out. He was worried about his team, he didn't want to see anyone else get knocked off either. [/font]
[font=PT Serif]So many things to worry about, but what he tried to not lose his head. Stay cool, relax. His jaw clenched as he heard the sound of the points being rewarded to Slytherin. Reid gripped his bat tighter as he found his target, as he honed in on Dan Palmer, his gaze flicked to the incoming bludger. In that split second, Reid violently swung his bat to connect with the bludger and sent it straight to him. [/font]
[font=PT Serif]When it met his target, he pumped his bat for a second as he moved out of the way. His stomach dropped though when he saw the captain fall, averting his gaze to focus on what was to come. What he didn't anticipate was Serena - "ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY POINTS TO HUFFLEPUFF! THE GAME IS OVER!" Excitement and elation lit up his features as he gave a loud whoop. Serena and Dawn had done it, they had caught the snitch. [/font]
[font=PT Serif]"We did it!" For their house, Quinn, and Julie; this was the dream. For all the hardships, this as what he was waiting for in a long time. It'd be a wave of euphoria that he'd ride for weeks to come. Reid hadn't noticed how tired he was till the adrenaline had worn off, his arm was sore and tired. He gave a glance at Slytherin team and for a moment, flashed a brief salute. [/font]
[font=PT Serif]They had played hard and weren't easy to go against, even if Erin had come after him. This wouldn't be their last battle. He felt lucky, but he couldn't count his blessings just yet when the next match against them happened. Afterwards, the beater joined alongside his team in exiting the field.[/font]
