Lily sighed a deep breath of fresh London air. It had been a year since she had been here in her home. After her second year in Hogwarts, her cousins parents, who had adopted her after the death of her own parents, had decided she needed a change of scenery to help with her grieving. Lily had been on board as she was not doing well at Hogwarts with all her old friends, trying to stay her same olde cheerful, troublemaking self. She still wasn't fully healed ut she was much much better now. She missed her family and friends in Scotland. Colin and Clair had broken up, but he had his new girlfriend. She swore he had girls just lined up to date him. Lily had seen Cursa McCoire but the two had never really talked much.

But she was glad to be back in her home where she belonged. Colin and his family were going to pick her up at the station. When she got off the train she sat on top of her suitcase not seeing them anywhere. It was a rare sunny day and she lifted her face up to let the sun warm it. There was a difference in her. She wasn't a happy-go-lucky girl anymore, she was quieter and less cheerful. Her eyes had lost their mischievous twinkle, they now had a different kind of glint in them.

She was turned away from Colin at the moment. Her face was tilted back, just enjoying the Sun's warmth. Lily. Colin hadn't seen her in ages. He never really understood why, but she'd been sent off to America. And now she was back. Cursa had mentioned her, but that was it. Colin wondered if Alex and Angus had gotten to her at all. She'd been a troublemaker before, but at least at Hogwarts the younger twins couldn't try and twist her.

Lily.

Lily Isobel McCoire.

Greebo sauntered over and sniffed at her baggage and her shoes. He spent quite a lot of time examining the strange American scents. Colin often wondered if Greebo's sniffing was anything like his and Liam's. The cat gently rubbed his cheek against Lily's bags.

She seemed different to Colin's eyes and even his nose. A little taller. A little sadder in some way? She'd been through a lot. Stuff Colin could only imagine. He couldn't tell exactly what was different, but there was some change that had happened. Colin looked at Liam. Liam looked at Colin. They'd been sent to fetch her. Colin wondered if she'd still recognise them. Colin knew they'd grown taller, after all, they were both due for some kilt lengthening!

Greebo hopped up onto Lily's trunk and sat waiting.

What did you even say to a sister who'd been away from such a long time? Colin shrugged.

"Oi," he said softly. "Lily?" Colin smiled. No matter what she'd been through, she was theirs now and she was back with them. "Come on lass! We're here to fetch ye home!"

Lily looked down when she felt something brush her leg and she saw the black cat that Cursa had told her about. She smiled and bent down to scratch it's head. "Why hello Greebo. Heard a lot about you." She said softly. Looking up she saw her two cousins/ brothers and she let a big smile spread over her face. Standing up, she walked over to Colin and gave him a big, tight hug. "I've missed you both." She held on for a bit before letting go. "We have so much to catch up on! A little birdie told me that you, Colin McCoire, have a new girlfriend! That was fast, what do you have at least a dozen girls lined up?" Lily asked him, her voice a little lighter than it had been in a year. Now it was time to make Colin squirm a bit. Turning to Liam, she also hugged him though not as long as Colin's hug. "You two have definitely grown taller." Lily sighed inwardly. She hadn't grown all that much, maybe about an inch so to say they towered over her was definitely an understatement, but that's just how it goes. "You two ready for some srious troublemaking?" She asked, a slightly teasing evil grin spreading across her face.
