History: Born and raised in Chad from a French father and Chadian mother, she moved to England before the age of 11 when her French Wizard father received a promotion. Mireille, being living during her early years in Chad, is impregnated from African magical traditions, notably wandless magic, whcich she later learned during summer visits back to Chad. In Hogwarts, she was sorted into Hufflepuff, and later became a Herbologist. Now retired, she still tends to her plants with dedication.
Relation: Very close. She often played with him when he was younger, and encouraged him not to pressure himself or listen too strictly to his father's expectations. She is one of the strongest emotional supports in his early life.

History: Born in the French Alps into a Muggle family that ran a fruit farm, he later focused on the business side of it while living in England. He left France after meeting Mireille during a stay in Nice – he fell in love with her instantly. She had told him that although she felt the same, she wouldn’t stand in the way of his family ties. To prove his dedication, he rented a flat in England and only contacted her once settled. Moved by this gesture, she gave him a chance. Love followed, and in time, she told him she was a witch. Sharing a deep interest in nature, Augustin adapted well to the side of the world he hadn’t known. Though no longer involved in the family business, he is not quite retired – he still grows and sells fruits and vegetables from part of his large garden.
Relation: Warm and respectful. Augustin values academic curiosity and effort. He tutors Perrin in mathematics and French, and encourages him by reminding him that trying his best will be enough. They planted together a willow tree by a pond Augustin’s garden for Perrin's 7th birthday, which the boy became extremely attached to.

History: He is the younger brother of Ameline by five years, and also attended Hogwarts, but was sorted into Gryffindor. He became a magical translator focused on diplomacy with magical creatures, and occasionally inter-wizard translation across magical languages. Although known to be a bit lazy at times, he is always loving and caring.
Relation: Fond and playful. Amos often gifted Perrin toys as a child and encouraged him to play with his cousin, Alice. He would often join them himself.

Relation: Distant but friendly. They don’t talk often, but she is always nice to him when they do interact.

History: Born one year before Perrin, Alice is a half-blood witch and a Ravenclaw student in her second year at Hogwarts. She loves Quidditch, though she’s not yet on a team, and dreams of becoming a researcher in Transfiguration or Defence Against the Dark Arts.
Relation: Good. They get along well and help each other when needed, but don’t seek each other out often in school.

History: She is a former Ravenclaw, and also met her future husband during her school years. whom, after graduating moved to France to begin her professional work as a potioneer, before returning to England. She now continues her work in potion-making.
Relation: Strict but genuinely affectionate. She pushes Perrin to excel, but also protects his individuality and is attentive to his development. They share a strong and complex bond built on trust and high expectations. She speaks to Perrin only in French to help him maintain fluency and precision.

History: Alistair is a former Slytherin, and now works in the Department of Magical Law at the Ministry of Magic. He is a traditionalist with a cold and distant demeanor, he values academic and scholarly success above all. Despite being fluent, if his wife and son speak to him in French, he only responds in English, wanting to promote the language of the country they have a chance to live in; he does make an exception only for his mother.
Relation: Distant and stern. Alistair pressures Perrin academically but does not show much emotional involvement. On rare, significant occasions (like his 10th birthday or first day at Hogwarts) he forces himself to maintain posture, yet, he lets deep emotions slip through, in uncontrolled ways.

She is a skilled Legilimens, and although she is discreet about it, she has a reputation for trying to slip into people's minds during family gatherings, which many dislike.
Relation: Perrin admires her confidence, elegance, and success. He sees her as the most admirable figure on his father's side. Though they are not especially close, their relationship is neutral and respectful.

Perrin's life

Pre-Hogwarts years

During his youth, Perrin grew up in Cambridge. Following his muggle grandfather’s insistence on the matter, and his mother’s shared desire, Perrin attended a muggle French private school, which, since he was 7, went by taking the bus daily with non-wizard children, and was also given extra math tutoring at home. His Wizarding education was dispensed by both his parents, mostly during the weekend.
His first instance of Magic happened the day before his sixth birthday. Perrin was in the garden while his grandfather (maternal side) tended to a tree. His grandfather, lost his balance of the ladder and began to fall. Without thinking, Perrin’s panic surged resulting in a patio cushion to fly a few meters and to position itself directly beneath him.
Perrin spent most of his free time reading his parents’ old school books, especially Charms, tracing wand movements with a stick from his grandpa's willow tree.
