Saoirse shrilled, pointing her book in such a manner as to hit somebody. With shaky hands she put down the book, watching the final member collapse. Was this what they felt when I charged through the door? Steadily she approached the girl, with clear fair skin and a messily made blonde and brunette braid with strands of hair falling onto the grimy floor Saoirse watched the girl."I'm late, I'm late! I'm so sorry I'm late"
Saoirse let out a sigh of relief before turning back to irritation, with a subtle grunt she trotted towards the new member and tried to get the cold, sleeping body up. Helping Jo lay her down on the blanket, and gather all else necessary to make sure the girl was as comfortable as could be. "That solves that mess..." Saoirse was already upset enough at herself for everything, including practically spitting at Jo for no reason. "Anywho, the idea of a prank sounds...fun!" Saoirse tried to hold some enthusiasm up in her voice, even with the annoyance at almost everything going on around her. Saoirse looked back at the girl for a second, and rolled her eyes before huffing and sitting back down next to Gwen, "I don't think she needs to go to the Hospital Wing.""Ok. Well, she's not dead,"

As Wren woke up she noticed that there were four other girls in the room. the one that was nearest to her was a bit Asian looking, with black hair, one had red hair, another had black hair, and the other had a purple Hijab on. Wren like to think that classifying people by hair was kind of her thing, just like napping and sleeping through things were. As she always did she started talking the moment she woke up. "Hi. I'm sorry I passed out on you all like that and caused a scare, I didn't mean to. I just woke up from a nap 15 minutes ago, but I guess I got tired again. My body's like that. I sleep, wake up get tired, then go back to sleep. All the time. On the second day of school I slept through on eof my classes, because no one would wake me up. No, I'm sorry no one could wake me up I guess. I asked around because I thought no one had tried to wake me up but it turns out that almost everyone tried they just couldn't. I was running so hard I thought I had slept through this meeting. Obviously i'm wrong. Shit, I'm sorry, I forgot to in introduce myself. I tend to get a bit carried away talking. As soon as I wake up I start to run my mouth. It's what most people don't like about me. Sorry there I go again. My name's Wren by the way."

The group crowded over the fallen student, with Jo frantically trying to prop her bruised head up against a cushion and Saoirse tensely leaning over the body. If that girl rolled her eyes, harder, they'd roll right out of their sockets and down the drain. Nevertheless, Gwen sympathised with the girl; the group meeting had brought far more action than she'd originally imagine. But with action, comes more excitement.
"I don't think she needs to go to the Hospital Wing." the Hufflepuff advised, letting out a sigh of angst. It was probably true; but if the unconscious witch didn't come around within a few minutes there could be some medical implications.
The girl's eyes shot open, and before Gwen could reassure her, the witch's mouth began churning out words at a rapid pace. Word vomit, lots of it. Disoriented, perhaps. Symptomatic of a concussion, which can easily be induced by smacking your head into the hard tiles of your school lavatory. Also a symptom of being a relentless chatterbox, and as the girl was in Gryfindor, the latter was just as likely as the former.
"Wren," Guinevere uttered, smiling as she offered her hand to help the witch up. "I'm Gwen. We rhyme. I'm glad you didn't split your head open and die, although that's what it sounded like."
Gwen smiled, stifling a laugh as she recalled the aggressive thwack of Wren's head against the tile.

Saorise was mad. That much was clear, and Jo never functioned well when someone was angry at her.I don't think she needs to go to the Hospital Wing.
I...I guess not. Jo quickly cast her eyes to the floor apologetically.
Suddenly, the new girl began to talk. Jo tried to figure out what she was saying, but the only information she could glean from the lightening-fast speech was that the girl slept a lot, woke up a lot, and was named Wren.
Jo cringed, unsure of how this comment would be received.I'm Gwen. We rhyme. I'm glad you didn't split your head open and die, although that's what it sounded like.
Well, I'm glad you're okay, Wren. Is this a normal occurence? A medical condition? Maybe we should make the meeting times a bit later, if this is when you usually take your nap. Anyway, could you introduce yourself to the group, please? We'd love to learn more about you - especially with such a grand entrance! Jo giggled. Did you bring a blanket and a book? If you didn't, don't worry about it. And continuing our previous conversation, what book does everyone want to borrow today? I think we have Dragonology, Anthem, the Leprechaun King, and Orlando.

Gwen's smile melted from her face as Jo audibly winced beside her. Realising that her comment may have come across as uncaring, she turned to watch the brunette deliver her own spiel of concerned remarks.
Her lips parted into an amused, sheepish smile once again as she looked on at Wren in sheer puzzlement. The young witch looked beyond exhausted, despite claiming to have taken a nap only 15 minutes before.
"You know, Jo's right. If this kind of thing happens a lot, you'd better ask the nurse if she has a remedy. She's got a remedy for everything. Well, almost everything." she added, "She probably can't fix your word vomit, but I wouldn't be worried about that. I'm sure I speak for the rest of the girls when I say I'd rather someone be a friendly chatterbox than overly quiet."
Gwen inched backwards, hoping to give the girl some space to breathe and come back to her senses. Eyeing the maroon and gold fabric that trimmed her uniform, she noticed that the others in the group were divided by houses into pairs. Two Hufflepuffs, two Gryfindors, and then herself. But hopefully the others, and particularly Wren and Jo, wouldn't hold true to the inter-house rivalry or view her through a lens of prejudice against Slytherin.
"I'm sorry, am I being insensitive?" Gwen earnestly responded, "I don't mean to be rude, really. It's just that you took quite a spectacular fall. Like, an impressive fall for someone to withstand without just shattering.""Well, I'm glad you're okay, Wren. Is this a normal occurence? A medical condition? Adlai had been mainly quite and listening intensively to what everyone had to say. Before she heard the screams and shouts of someone saying “I'm late, I'm late! I'm so sorry I'm late!” This someone was a young girl Adlai had never seen before and surprisingly she passed out on the ground causing Adlai to jump.
She had heard Jo ask to borrow Orland but everyone was soon distracted by the girl who lay on the bathroom floor (which must be unhygienic since this bathroom is disgusting.) “Is she ok?” Adlai asked inching closer to the girl. Her new acquaintances asking each other about if they should take her to the hospital wing and then decided against it.
The young girl suddenly woke up and instantly began to talk, apologizing for passing out and claiming to be someone named Wren. Everyone was concerned for Wren and began to suggesting to her that they all take her to the hospital wing just to make sure she was alright.
Adlai felt a bit overwhelmed. So much was happening at once that she didn’t quite know what to do. Thus, she merely picked up Orlando and slid it over to Jo with a friendly smile. “You wanted this one right?” She asked wanting to know for sure you had asked her for it since everything had become so out of this world in a couple of seconds, with no offense to anyone.

Saoirse looked at the girl, trying to have a more friendly, approaching face she turned back to the other girls. "I apologize for my attitude, things have just been hectic today and I didn't know what to do,"
Saoirse watched the girl attentively, "Wren, calm down please! You might hurt yourself at this rate trying to say a whole book!" She knelt down to help the girl, "your head looks bruised, so just breath in and out and keep laying down." Saoirse managed to prop the girl up to the point where she was sitting up, which made her grab her throw pillow and place Wren's head down on it, so she could still sit and look at all the club members without actually having the chance of injuring herself. "Now, I think we should take Orlando, considering the fact that it was one already chosen or Dragonology. That sounds nice too.""Hi. "Thank you for being concerned with my health. I really appreciate it." she focused on breathing, "I guess my head does hurt a little, now that I think about it.""Wren, calm down please! You might hurt yourself at this rate trying to say a whole book! your head looks bruised, so just breath in and out and keep laying down."
As she focused on breathing, she decided to be polite and answer Jo's questions.
Sorry, this is not a normal occurrence, its just that I was running so fast that my body could not keep up with my brain, so I passed out. This is not my normal nap time, I just try to get some sleep anytime I can, because I'm constantly tired. My problem is waking up from a nap. I sleep so hard, then I sleep through things, an yeah, you get the idea. I'm sorry, I did not bring a book. Oh, I feel like I came here so unprepared." She put her face in her hands. "I did not even bring a blanket. I'm sorry."Well, I'm glad you're okay, Wren. Is this a normal occurence? A medical condition? I'm really glad you would rather have a chatterbox then someone really quiet. Your right, I sometimes cannot control how much I talk." Wren laughed quietly. "Thanks to all of you I really appreciate how much you all were concerned about me. Even though I do appreciate the concern I just hope it doesn't happen again. I'll try to take a nap after our meetings.""You know, Jo's right. If this kind of thing happens a lot, you'd better ask the nurse if she has a remedy. She's got a remedy for everything. Jo beamed as Adlai handed her Orlando.
Thanks a lot! I’ll bring it back next meeting. Would you like to borrow Anthem?
Jo opened the book, letting the conversations and cold, damp water around her fade away into oblivion - replaced by the swirling thoughts of an English nobleman.
Entranced by the first few sentences, time slipped by - five pages gone in the blink of an eye.
Jo slammed the book shut suddenly - someone was speaking to her.
I think we’ve had quite enough surprises for the day. Let’s all choose our books - Wren, you can just pass this time and bring one in next time. Everyone else, take your pick! We meet in the trophy room next week, savvy? Please bring a blanket, pillow, another book as well as the one you’re returning, and at least 3 prank ideas! Jo’s clear voice rang through the lavatory - for once, she finally felt like a leader. Like a Gryffindor - even though she would have given anything to be a Slytherin. A part of her still would.
Ooh, ooh, what about we have like a handshake or a collective word to shout or something at the end to finish our meetings? That would be super cool! And maybe we could, like, pick nicknames further down the line - that might be something to consider. Anyhow, it’s getting freezing in here! Who’s borrowing Dragonology?

No worries! Jo didn’t really need to know what came before that (a torrent of repetitive words, no doubt), and she decided that the gist of it was no book, no blanket.…It doesn't happen a lot. Saoirse shot her hand up, "I will gladly take Dragonology!" Her attitude had calmed down by now and she was back to being her cheerful, happy self. Sifting through the pages of Fiona's Luck, she was dazed wondering if she could dare to part with this book. But a part of meeting friends is making sacrifices, and that's what this book would be, a temporary sacrifice. "So...uh who want's to borrow Fiona's Luck?" She mumbled, ever so slightly she closed the book and set on her lap. Noticing it was darker outside, she quietly picked up her cat-lamp and switched it on causing a burst of pastel red light to come out, that faded into pastel orange, that faded into light yellow and continued on with it's array of bright pastel colors. Saoirse placed in the center of the girls' strange circle, being careful not place it in a pile of filth or in water.
"There's different modes if anybody wants to switch them on or try them out." She looked around at the rest of the girls, smiling. Settling back down she once again faced, Jo.
