Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff
Some pride swelled in his chest seeing the bludger hit, of course he didn't exactly feel all that happy to see two people fall. It was his first game, he was getting used to the danger he was in and the danger he put others in. This wasn't a game for everyone, he needed to toughen himself over the fact that he was going to see things like this. If he hesitated, he was worried that he'd miss his shot and have to see a friend get shot from the sky.
It tilted him slightly to see Alexx cheat and knock Serena, but relief quickly took over when he saw that she was saved. He did a thumbs up to his team mates, proud of what they were doing so far. "Brilliant!" he shouted. Some moral support from the skies wouldn't hurt. He gripped his bat and leaned forward on his broom, keeping his eye on the others.

Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff
The game felt like a battle at this point. Both sides were fighting tooth and nail. Annie Morgan was carrying the load for the Chasers, but the MVP of the game was surely the Slytherin Keeper. Time after time the badgers were denied, but Oliver felt a fire lit inside him. He wanted to go at Koko Riddle.
“BOOO” Oliver heckled with the crowd as Slytherin pulled one of their famous dirty tricks. With their reputation, Oliver was surprised it had taken them this long into the game to pull a stunt like that. The young badgers emotions were like a roller coaster at this point in the game. Every time it felt like they had full momentum, Slytherin always pulled something out of its hat.

Carson watched as Annie yet again gained possession of the Quaffle. He crossed his fingers as he watched her attempt to score yet again, but Koko blocked her shot once again. The game wasn’t looking to good from his perspective. He looked over to see Reid, who had replaced the previously playing Beater and was now playing pretty well. Really well, actually.

Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff
As the Quaffle gets back into the air Annie Morgan rushes forward to catch it but before she is able to the duo of Bridget Collins and Elena Jones snatch the Quaffle out of the air. Their rush towards the Hufflepuff goal, practically unopposed until finally they are within reach and the Quaffle is thrown. Asteria Kurokawa has so far been un needed this match and weather the ball was thrown too well or she had gotten too comfortable did not matter, because the result would have been the same. A Score for Slytherin!
"TEN POINTS TO SLYTHERIN! The Referee bellows
While this is happening Erin Ryan atop Nico Shymanes broom is out for blood once more. The pair get the angle on a bludger and with a mighty CRACK send it flying towards Dawn Riley in an attempt to take out her and her passenger, Serena Towers. What they hadn't planned on was the heroic actions of the Hufflepuff captain. Saskia Nicholson flew infront of the bludger with the intent to knock it back to the pair but instead her swing was off and the bludger connected and knocked the brave badger from her broom.
The compassion the hufflepuffs had for their team would not end there as Carson Miller would swoop in and catch his falling captain to ensure she remained in the game. Though without the captain defending this left the duo of Serena Towers and Dawn Riley wide open as Koko Riddle left her goal and rocketed towards the pain. The very successful Keeper attempted to use her body as a battering ram and knock the two hufflepuff players off their broom. Luckilly Dawn Riley was able to move out of the way of the attempt just in time.
"RIDDLE! PENALTY LAP!" the Referee Bellowed out
Either by planning or Providence Dan Palmer, the seeker and captain of the slytherin team now found himself in the sights of the Hufflepuff beater Reid Kovacs. While the Slytherin continued to search for the snitch he was ultimately unable to locate it, but that would no longer matter as the hufflepuff struck a bludger and set it rocketing towards the unprotected captain. Dan Palmer was struck from his broom and having noone to rescue him would connect with the ground down below, removing him from the game.
It was in that moment that Serena Towers had the chance she needed. She had seen through the chaos in the Snitch's movements and was closing in on it, Directing Dawn Riley where to go. The pair grew closer and closer as the hufflepuff seeker reached out for it and...

Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff
Annie was in a routine now. Snatch the quaffle, fail at an attempt to score the goal, hope Slytherin doesn't kill one of their players, repeat. She was ready to snatch the quaffle again but got caught off guard when two green robes streaked past her with the quaffle in hand.
A shocked expression crossed her face before her face turned back into one of determination. She kept chase but as they raced towards the Hufflepuff's goals Annie saw the quaffle leave the Slytherin's hand and score into one of the hoops. Asteria must have been crestfallen but Annie shouted out some encouraging words. "Don't worry about it, you save some you and you don't save some."
The Chaser felt slightly defeated that she couldn't get her hands on the quaffle or grab it away from Slytherin but she shrugged and looked around the playing field. The familiar crack of a bludger was heard and Annie's gaze followed it as it whirled it's way towards Serena and Dawn. She held her breath and her eyes widened when Saskia went to block it with her bat but it collided with her body.
Annie was able to release her breath and let out a relieved sigh when a fellow chaser, Carson, caught and helped Saskia before she hit the ground. She saw Serena and Dawn streak off after what she assumed was the tiny snitch. Serena's outstretched hand hovered closer before her fist closed around it, the Hufflepuff stands roared and the announcer and refeere boomed: "ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY POINTS TO HUFFLEPUFF! THE GAME IS OVER!"
Annie gasped. Her first game and their team won! When she reached the ground she hoped off her broom and raced towards the familiar faces of her team members, benched and non-benched, looking to congratulate everyone and anyone including the Slytherin team.
Man, Koko had a good defense, she felt she needed recognition as well as Serena with her marvelous catch. Annie looked around and saw swarms of yellow and some green bodies join the field and Annie got a few "good jobs" which she returned with some "thanks". She suddenly felt very shy and wanted to get away from everyone and celebrate somewhere less noisy. Annie ducked out of the crowd and into the lockerooms, getting ready to change and clean up before heading back up to the castle to relax.

Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff
The quaffle was thrown up yet again. It appeared as if Annie Morgan would catch it again, but no. This time it was Slytherin's chance to score. The chaser grabbed the ball, zipped down the field, and scored. Dawn's high spirits had diminished greatly throughout the game. Little did she know, what would come next, would make them soar again.
As Dawn and her 'broom buddy', Serena, chased after the snitch. Closer and closer they got, and then "ZING!" , Serena caught the snitch! "ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY POINTS TO HUFFLEPUFF! THE GAME IS OVER!" the referee screamed. Man, that sure was difficult, but, hey, we won! Our first game ever, and we won! Dawn found it hard to believe that she had just won her first-ever game of quidditch.

Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff
Serena whispered to Dawn, "I see the snitch, let's do this..." As she leaned forward, going with the chaser to direct her. She tapped her right arm, guiding her to the right. She did this until she could get close enough to the snitch. Her eyes remained focused on the golden snitch at all times, not losing sight of it. Dawn must have been watching the incoming attacks from blatching cheaters or bludgering beaters, because Serena was not. Her eyes were following the snitch. She left everything else to her team mates. Saskia took an attack for her. Dawn swerved out of the way. Everyone sacrificed their shot for her. She had to do this. There was no choice.
Focused on the snitch, "THERE!" She instructed Dawn suddenly, pointing forward as she reached for the snitch. Dawn expertly maneuvered the broom, giving Serena time to focus on catching the prize. Her fingers wrapped around the golden object. Her heart pounded from the adrenaline. She heard the referee's voice echo across the field, one hundred and fifty points. He declared the match over.
Her eyes blinked, still staring at the golden ball in her right hand. It was over? She actually... did it? Her smile filled her face, showing all of her teeth. Her eyes lit up, before she even realised what was going on. "We did it..." She muttered, under the breathe, audible only for Dawn to hear. They had done it. Hufflepuff had won... HUFFLEPUFF HAD WON?!?!
They needed this win. She needed this win. "WE DID IT!!!!" Serena screamed loudly to her team mates, fist pumping the snitch in the air for all to see. They had fallen for her, they had defended her or caught her from falling. Together, they had won. Tears hit the corners of her eyes. Tears of pride and happiness. She had done it. She had caught the snitch. There was finally something that she succeeded at, a place where she was able to help her house.
She could not believe it. Her heart pounded from excitement. The badgers had beaten their opponents, even when the odds were against them. "AHHHH WE DIDDDDD IT GUYS!" She screamed again, the happiness evident on her face as her fist clutched tightly around the snitch. She was reliant on Dawn, as they were sharing a broom, to return her to the ground but she ran to hug the entire team as soon as they had. Before running to check up on the folks that took a fall for the team.

Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff
They still had a single Seeker left: Serena Towers. Take her out, end the game she reasoned. They would have the points, it was just ten but that was all they needed because it was better than none. Without a Seeker, there was no way to find the snitch, the game would be over. It was not that she did not enjoy this game but rather she had other priorities -- such as defeating the part-giant menace that was Quinn Healy.
There was also Kovacs, he was tough, frustratingly so. She was not sure of the power-set of a death witch but she knew with certainty that he was about as strong as her. She did not like that. He was a threat. She desperately wanted to take him out but she was hurt. Her body ached from the bludgering he had already given her. Already saved more than once, she was an albatross to the team She let out a sigh as she complied with the plan to take out the pair of Hufflepuffs sharing a broom.
Her, no their bats would strike the passing bludger hard and change the course of the dangerous sphere. It was aimed at Serena and her savior. Take them down. Take them out. Everything would soon be over and she would be able to extract that last bit of information she needed from Quinn's broken form in the medical wing before the nurse repaired him.
The bludger met with the wood of their bat. It was over for the both of them.
A suicidal youth would block their path with their body. The bludger would meet the girl's torso and she would be knocked back with a tumble and loose the grip she once had on the broom. She would plummet to what should have been her end, had it not been for the fact that once of her of her teammates was waiting for this inevitable moment and caught her.
That was all of the time that they needed, the Seeker and her driver, Serena found the snitch and the game was over. She likely felt the disappointment in her broom mate, but she felt none. She did not care about victories, not in something as ephemeral as a Quidditch Game at the very least. She was going to win a bigger game.
"Crap," Erin complained out loud.
"Well, I gotta get looked it anyways," she let out a groan. No acting necessary, she felt like someone wacked her with a metal softball with all of their might and that she fell nearly a hundred feet twice only to be roughly caught and pulled back into the sky. Everything hurt.

Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff
As the quaffle zoomed past her into the hoop, Asteria couldn't help but feel a faint tinge of embarrassment rise in her. This was her one job, her one job, and she hadn't been enough- or at least she felt that way. Still, there was little time for self doubt as Serena and Dawn swooped in to snatch the snitch. They had won. They ha actually really won! All her anxiety faded (at least for now) as she screamed "GO HUFFLEPUFF!" All of her felt affection for the team in this single moment, for the abstract concept of team bonding and unity, and their ability to win this match. Wind still whistling through her hair, sh alighted on the ground, relief and excitement still coursing though her.Asteria leaves the thread
