Emily was quick on her feet as she dispersed the posters up and across the building. Free time outside of scheduled classes were more often than none spent reading in the library or reading behind the herbology greenhouses, or even reading at the shore of the Great Lake. However, there was no room for reading this time. Emily was on a mission. A very special mission. She and Tesla had talked about it long and hard. With the end of the school year on the horizon, there was no better time than now to finally put what they discussed in motion.
Emily hid her face behind the long strands of her hair as she tucked a collection of posters underneath her arm, her cloak obscuring the sight of them as she shuffled carefully across the corridors. Every now and then she'd stop and wait before draping a patch of wall with one of the posters. She looked at the collection. She was worried she hadn't made enough. Then again, considering there were already a good few about the tower as it was, maybe she might have made just enough to get a buzz going around the school.
She found some more wall and put another one up. She swallowed. For the 40th time. She was quite anxious. Not what the posters were advertising, but the names it was associated with. She hadn't really discussed putting them up with Tesla all that much. Emily's neck shrunk into her shirt a little. Maybe she should've waited until Tesla had given her the go-ahead after all.
With what Tesla and Emily had planned, would they get a lot of attention? If they did, Emily could only cross her fingers and toes that it would be good attention. Otherwise they might just be chased with pitchforks and torches for reasons that would become apparent as soon as people caught a glimpse at the posters.
But after Professor Iwasaki's outspokenness about his lycanthropy way back when, and with the events of Gideon and his dark shadow having dissolved and allowing her ample time to heal, Emily wanted to get back on track as she set off to do one of the many things she promised she would. To advocate for safety and unity for all that resided in the deep, dark and beautiful.
And it all continued with these posters.
She put another one up, smoothing it out before she scurried off down the hall. She was nervous. But she was also excited. She was nervous-cited!
Emily laughed sheepishly. That sounded like some kind of pesticide when she thought about it aloud like that.
She pinned up another poster. This would turn a few heads for sure but this meant a lot to her. And not just her, but to Tesla as well. And her dear Colin. And any other werewolves likely feeling unsure of themselves and their place in modern society.
Emily tightened her fist determinedly. It was about time werewolves were cut some slack!
"It'll be fine..." She murmured to herself quietly. "A little bit of energy will stir, for sure... But it'll be all fine."

ReducioSlytherin unifornHumming quietly, Kaitlyn skipped from her Transfiguration class toward the Great Hall. Thankfully, it appeared that her spell work was improving! A nice fact for the young prefect. She wanted to do her best, and hopefully that would be enough! Of course, she naturally had high expectations for herself. Now that she was a prefect, she was supposed to be a good influence.
While she didn’t notice at first … to be fair, she was trying to skip and gracefully dodge throngs of students. She wasn’t trying to be observant. All of the students certainly did not help! But, she eventually noticed something strange … Oh, ok, she didn’t notice until she was practically at the Great Hall. How many of these posters were up? She hadn’t a clue! That part didn’t really matter … as long as she eventually noticed the posters. And notice the posters she did!
‘Are we allowed to hang posters? I have no idea … but it’s not my place to judge.’ Kaitlyn dodged a couple holding hands as she made her way to the wall with the posters. Her eyes widened at its contents. ‘Oh! A werewolf appreciation! That sounds fun. Ever since I first learned about werewolves … they sounded so misunderstood to me! Oh! And Emily is coordinating this? I’ve always liked talking to her … August 9th, huh? I’ll have to write that down … and hope I can attend. I should ask Devon if she’d be interested in going, too!’Word Count:

Tes's letters with her moms planning the werewolf get-together she was hosting had been going well, and it was on her way back from the owlery during her free time that she spotted the first of the posters along the wall. She paused, gently slipping between students so she wouldn't elbow any first years in the face, being a solid head and a half taller than them. Finding her way to the wall, she found what must have been the poster Emily had been working on since their meeting making their plans. The two hadn't had much of a chance to really discuss after that point, so this was a pleasant surprise for sure that it was up so soon.Feel free to stop Tes if you have any IC questions about the posters, or message me for a 1 on 1 thread!
Looking around, she craned her neck to see if she could see Emily, but instead she just saw another poster further down the hallway, and another one after that. It struck her then just how many the other girl must have made. Turning back to the poster, she gave it a more thorough glance. It was certainly striking and put the point across they were trying to make, but she hadn't expected them to be so... everywhere. Honestly, it was probably for the best to garner more attention, and attention it was garnering, but as the muttering next to her from younger students grew a bit louder, she could only hope it was positive attention.
Shaking herself out of her slight stupor, she nodded firmly to herself in a silent affirmation. This was exactly what they wanted! To put more attention on werewolf students, and the both of them were sticking their necks out to do it!
For now, she needed to hunt down Emily and see if she needed some help with the rest of the posters, so she began speedwalking her way down the corridor after the trail of posters. She wished that she could pick up the pace and run with the excitement she was feeling, but she was quite a bit bigger than when she'd first started running through the halls, and she didn't want to run over any unfortunate students, so stuck walking she was.
Now she just had to find Emily and continue putting up posters, unless someone stopped her with questions about them already.

May 15th! The date kept repeating in Harvey's mind as he walked down the corridor. Six weeks until the end of his first year. Six weeks! Was everything in order? Had he completed all of his tasks? Thank merlin there were no end of year exams for first years, but there was still all of this pressure building up on the boy, but for what reason? Mostly it was all in his own head. Harvey was the kind of kid that psyched himself out from time to time. For the most part he had been very successful in his first year. Besides the A he received in Herbology, the lad had almost aced every other subject, but was it enough?
Enough for who? His grandfather, that's who. Strict was an understatement when describing the goblin that raised Harvey and he had just recently informed the boy that if he wished to attend summer camp this year, his grades better be nothing less than perfect. Hopefully the old bat would understand that Harvey was no green thumb and considering his grandfather's views on manual labor, perhaps he would let it slide. The state of worry on the boy's face was evident as his little legs scurried about, but it would slip momentarily as he spied a blonde giant focusing closely on a power hung on the wall.
Harvey rolled his eyes at first. Was this some student band advertising a show? He liked music and all, but this was a school not a music festival! Yet as he drew closer he would see what the she was focusing on. A poster for a werewolf appreciation night. Being mixed race himself, Harvey was always fascinated to meet other half-breeds and magical beings. Perhaps this would be an excellent opportunity to meet some of the others of the magical world. "Excuse me." The part-goblin reached up and tugged gently on the girl's elbow. "Do you know if this is open to anyone that's interested?"

Lily was finally back at Hogwarts. She had arrived May 5th and to tell you the truth she was happy to be back with all her old friends and family. Today was May 15th and honestly being a Thursday was boring. Only one more day until the weekend though. That's the only thing she was looking forward to was the weekend, where she could just collapse on her bed in the dorm and not get up until Monday. As she was walking down the hallway, she noticed a small crowd around a poster with an old friend that she had meant a couple years ago, Emily Shephard. Her dear brothers new girlfriend. She elbowed her way in to read the poster and her face split into a smile. WerewolF unity! Colin would love that. She looked over at Emily and a grin lit her face up. "Oi Emily! Colin would love this! Have you told him yet?" Shje called over to her before walking over and laying a hand on her arm. "It's a very good idea, Emily and i'll defintly attend with dear Colin." Lily looked around at the other people around them. "And it seems like other people are on board with it too!"

Before she could set after Emily, Tes felt a light tug on her elbow and looked down at the much smaller student asking her about the posters. She took a moment to blink as she took in the tiny first year- were all of them this small? Glancing around the hallway, she could confirm that no, most of the other students hadn't shrunk from a foot shorter than her to a full foot and a half shorter.
Moment of shock out of the way, she turned back to grin at the younger student, nodding eagerly. "It sure is! It'll be at my farm, and my momma and mum will be there to supervise and make sure nothing goes wrong," leaning in a bit closer and lowering her voice she asked, "Let me know if you have any questions, yeah? I haven't seen you at the shrieking shack, but just to be sure- will you be coming as one of our werewolf students, or a guest?" glancing around to make sure no students were eavesdropping she continued, "I'll be one of the werewolves, so I just need to know if you'll be transforming or not, and your secret will be safe with me! Oherwise, I'm happy to show you on a map where the farm is, or you can just use the floo network when the time comes, if you aren't the sort to travel by muggle car."
She eagerly tapped her fingers on her thigh, energized once more by the immediate interest she had received.

Emily was close to slinking away after she pinned up the poster, yet the insanely quick magnet of people that came to inspect it had Emily's hungry curiosity piqued, forcing her to linger a little longer to gauge the reactions her night's efforts were attracting.
Kaitlyn's response to the advertisement wasn't too much of a shocker for the Huffie. She was a sweetpea like Emily, naturally finding optimism in everything she came across. A younger kid in Slytherin came up to take a look and was equally as enthusiastic about the idea, judging by the small appreciative look had in his eye alone. Then a ghost from the past arrived to take a look as well. Christ... Lily McCoire. When was even the last time Emily had seen her walk down the halls? For the longest time, Emily thought she had become one of the missing souls of the school. That was how long it had been since their little brief run-in in the library back when Emily was a cutie patootie First Year. How surprising as it was sweet that the two would reunite like this, even if under a slightly bizarre circumstance. And proud to say, even Lily was outspokenly in favour of the idea. So far so good, the feedback for the advertisement was turning into an assumed success.
Emily finally spotted Tesla and gave her the gleamiest of grins. There was still a long way to go but the first step in their tag-team plan seemed to be going off without a hitch.
With Tesla occupied with the torrent of curious questions coming from the crowd that had formed, Emily finally snuck away and down the corridor. The last of the posters were still hidden under her arm, waiting to be gazed upon by the rest of the school, all for hopefully the same positive reactions.
She silently prayed Colin would be one of them.

Colin dashed down the stairs from the West Tower. He'd just sent a Very Important Owl to his bestie AngelFyre to meet up after school. He had to run fast in order to get to his next class. Potions. Bleugh! It wasn't his favourite, but he knew better than to be late. There was nothing worse than sucking in a class and having the Professor breathing down his neck the whole time! Looking ahead, he could see that the way was blocked by a whole load of kids spilling out of their classrooms.
Colin groaned. He was going to be late!
No. Wait!
The next intersection led to a corridor that would make a great shortcut! "EEP!" Colin squeaked as he grabbed at the stone pilaster, slingshooting himself around the corner at full speed. "YEEEEPS!!" Colin grabbed at his satchel and turned his skinny body sideways as he gracefully slipped through the narrow space between the two chatting girls. "Honestly! Ye two are a menace!" he called over his shoulder as he skipped along the mostly empty path. "Ye're always in a lad's way!"
Curious scents, however, soon put the roadblock otherwise known as MeyJun, those annoying first year twins, out of mind. The trails all led down towards the other end of the stony hallway, towards a gang of kids all gathered together. Most of them were familiar. He wondered what was going on! Surely Potions could wait an extra minute! His ears picked up the excited chatter before he got close.
Colin smirked as he slowed his pace.
He heard his name mentioned, which caught his attention. Hah! He snuck up behind the red haired girl and ruffled her hair affectionately. Apart from Lily, there were a couple Slytherin kids and Tes. "Ayo mates! What's going on here?" he greeted them. He leaned his elbow on Lily's shoulder. She was annoying, but she was his sister after all! Tes was talking excitedly to a younger Slytherin boy. Gosh he was wee! Then he noticed the poster. Colin read it. Werewolf Appreciation Night!? Colin read it again. Just in case he'd read it wrong the first time. Stone Cottage?
Colin blinked.
Then it dawned on him! That's what Tes was on about a couple months back in the Shack! This thing that she and Emmi were cooking up. Wait. Colin looked around. He looked back at the poster. Of course! Tes Stone and Emily Shephard! He looked around again. There was no sight of the lovely Hufflepuff, but he knew she'd been here not long before!
He ruffled Lily's hair again before turning on his toes and rushing off along the corridor! "See ye! OWOOO!" Indeed, Potions could wait a couple minutes! A quick chat in the corridor with Emmi before class would be just the thing! Colin took off at full speed trying to catch up to Emily before she ducked into her next class!

Colin leaves the thread.
Keep your mind in hell; and don't despair.
